I have come to realize that even at the outside of this Nigeria local board as long "Bitcoin discuss" is concerned, the forum(s) are flooded due to too many threads simply because we all just want to take a lead, bring about what to talk about and calling on the public attentions to ourselves without undermining how incompetent and unnecessary the thread maybe since quality posts are all that are expecting.
Though no one would ever underrate his or her post(s) and thread (s) but the truth is that some person just want to contribute to the forum without the considerations of creative and quality  mindedness before exhibitions or expressions.

Our ways of reasoning ain't the same as some persons doesn't understand what reputation is all about that's why they care less about making good, creative or informative threads. In life, we are judged according to our behaviors as this forum is under watch by some legendary so it is bad if some persons or set of persons will jeopardize the image of this local board just because of their nonchalant attitude.

just so you know, what makes the forum what it his today is the regular threads we have on the different boards. It might not be of help to you, maybe because you already know about it but the fact that the forum is made up of experienced and inexperienced persons both in the bitcoin space and the secular society should give you the understanding that the kind of threads you will see in the forum won't be always of high quality. Some persons are not even from English speaking countries and so even when they have something reasonable to say, they might not necessarily put it out the right way and there message might not reflect much on what they intended creating.

I understand that some persons don't put in the needed effort to ensure that there threads are of high quality and might even go to the extent of copying out already published write-ups online just to post in the forum but I guess that's the whole essence of the merit system that is designed to reward those that are impacting and engaging in the forum positively and also encourage them to do more.

No be everybody go always get quality matter to yarn, some just want talk something make there mouth no too smell as dem don keep quiet for a long time so people go know say them de exist for the forum, allow them breath! No suffocate them my boss.

If you are talking posts on the forum in general, I would say you just focus on your own and leave other people to their own, your objective of being here is not the objective of other people, and by this, I mean that, your reason for being on this forum may not be the same reason that brought the next person, you might be here to learn, as well as teach what you know, but another is here just to for cruising, finding new people to discuss irrelevant things with, and fortunately for them, the forum is a public one, where anyone can come around, register and post what ever he or she feels like posting, as long as it is on the right board, and some people with a mind or have something to say concerning that thing will comment.

For you who does not find what is being discussed there interesting, just ignore and move on to the next thread, or create your own thread with a subject you think is interesting. And if ever you find a thread of some thing you think is inappropriate, then just use the report button and allow the mods to handle it.

Life is so simple but we make it complicated for ourselves, In crowd where you have no control over anybody, you focus on yourself and leave others to their self.

Wetin I go like talk about this na make we take time study about topics and threads before we create one. Since wey I enter this forum, I don learn plenty things from plenty people here. I have equally learnt about different things from different boards in this forum and I can only say kudos to every member here putting in their efforts to make this a community of knowledge.

After staying in this forum for a while, I got to understand that this forum can be Invariably referred to as an encyclopedia. A knowledge bank where you come and learn about the past and current happenings of life, especially when it has to do with facts about Bitcoin related issues and other aspects of life.

As a member of the Wikimedia community, the only difference between this platform and Wikipedia is because this platform is has a sole essence which is targeted at addressing issues around the crypto world, whereas Wikipedia is an all-rounder platform. Secondly, in Wikipedia, you create articles and have in line citations and references to back it up whereas here is more like a free social networking platform, Twitter (X).

Like Wikipedia, Bitcointalk deals with genuinity and authenticity, meaning you can not plagiarize because there are moderators on the platform that are empowered with the ability to checkmate spamming or shit-posts as well as plagiarism. Like there's discipline in the level of quality posts one should create in Wikipedia, so it is in this forum which makes most of the information shared here to be relevant and accurate.

Unlike Wikipedia which you must attach references to whatever claims you make, here it is more of your own unique ideas and understanding, therefore there won't be need to reference everything. But the most amazing part of this forum is the merit system. When you write something spectacular, unique and result-oriented, you get rewarded with a merit.

I note your point sir. But the fact still remain that this forum is like a juggle. Who dey jungle dey do anything to survive. For me as dem Don talk say make people reduce low quality post me I see am say low quality post don drastically reduce. Dis forum na public space wey plenty people from different parts of di world de meet to discuss crypto and every oda off topics wey de relevant. You go expect say na different ideologies, different educational background, and we de see things differently, na wetin make up dis forum. So there is need to accommodate everybody perspective to raise topics and to make comments.

I believe in due process, we get forum rules and we get moderators wey suppose to de enforce di rules, so na dem suppose put things in perspective for di forum. If topic enter wey e no suppose to, na for dem to comot am put for where e suppose de, if na low quality post, dem trash am put for where e suppose de. Di beauty of dis forum be say e get board for any kind topic, even boards wey no get any relationship with bitcoin.

On the forum, there is no way all the topics created in a day could be 100% in line with the quality of what is expected. We are all different individuals (in knowledge and ideas) on the forum, and there are even some low ranks that do better than the high ranks in post quality. If high ranks are still making some shite posts, how much will newbies and low ranks not make those mistakes?

This is definitely a common problem in forums, where quantity of posts can sometimes outweigh quality. It can be easy to get caught up in the excitement of discussing a topic, and to create post on forum without taking the time to carefully consider our words. But you won't blame anyone because we all are learning and not everyone have the experience or knowledge on how to create quality topics on the forum on like us the newbies that's still growing to know more... But it's important to remember that thoughtful, well-written posts on board of the forum can make a much bigger impact than a flood of quick comments.

One thing I have understood is that in a public space like this, you will always find people who share your opinion and those who do not. In this space, some people seem to have friends here that they vibe with, while others don't. But in all, you will always maintain who you are. If you must allow anything to influence or change your mindset, it should be for the better. While I was a newbie, I know I made some mistakes, but I was open to learning and taking corrections. But what gets so annoying most times too is that some newbies don't learn from their mistakes, and in fact, they don't even care if they are going wrong or not. Another funny truth is that some people can take your kindness for granted, but you have to try first, and when it doesn't work that way, you don't even have to overthink it. The these different people with diverse understandings about quality posts, and generally we view them differently, what you see as a post that lacks quality, another person sees it as a post that solves their curiosity, the truth is that, there are numerous threads here, some times we get confused on which one to read and comment on, this forum has exposed to many things like minding how I talk and doing the little I know, trying to contribute the I can to growth of this forum, but I believe every writer knows what a quality post is, unless he or she doesn't know why they are here, as for the newbies like me, mentorship is what you need here, but you should know that personal learning will help you in some certain areas, don't just be a writer, be a writer that people can emulate from.

Sometimes, wetin you see as quality fit be trash to the next person and wetin the next person go see as quality fit be pure trash to you because people reasoning and beliefs dey different. In all, I believe say make everybody dey allowed to make posts provided say dem no copy another person post (I.e plagiarism) but bring all ideas directly from their head.
