Try to limit the places where you post your email, especially if it is your personal email.
Customize filter options to reduce spam and try as much as possible to avoid clicking on links. I don’t know why Gmail has limited options for filtering incoming messages and reducing spam and phishing, but using protonmail will provide you with a lot of settings, such as the ability to check the link before clicking, better filters for messages, and checking the message extension.

Check current emails to see they were pwned or safely. If they have been pwned, likely they were in data breaches and they are no longer safely to use.

If they are unimportant emails, one solution is abandon them and use other emails.

Op You are absolutely right, I have been noticing since long that these sms can be seen when entering various websites. I always refrain from these things. Once I clicked by mistake, they showed me that I got a lot of money. That's when I realized that this is a phishing site. They can attack my device anytime. So refrain from these.

Sometimes different people's situations get confused when they see email messages such as bonus or gift notifications. it's clearly a scammer, but sometimes the momentum is right when someone is in need of money or doesn't have an account on the exchange or platform. so it looks real. without carefulness and good focus, we could be trapped in scammer mode which we can actually realize very easily. I have often by mistake but mostly out of curiosity clicked on such kinds of notifications when I try to visit a site, mostly when it is a movie site for downloading movies or news channels.
It didn't take me long to figure out that these are fake sites that scammers or hackers use to gain access into unsuspecting device.

I had to enable ad block and also learnt to patiently wait for such pop ups to show skip ad or cancel buttons before proceeding, so as not to open or give access to the site's intrusion.

I am also a victim of this. This doesn't happen only with email services but also numbers. One time I had to give my number to an association for work (I seriously don't know what got into me, why I gave away my number). Guess what happend the next day, I started getting lots of spam messages, calls. Like are you looking for jobs? Are you looking for houses? And it didn't stopped. Every day I would get minimum 10-15 spam message. Later I had to change my number. As for email, I have my personal mail & my work mail. I try to be as spam free as possible. Unsubscribe what I don't need, avoid clicking unknown links. They best way to sort everything is to use the filter option.

talking about this, just recently what i did on my chrome was to logout past histories of sites have logged in and make sure to stay safe of some emails not to click anything again or register to some websites because online is never safe right from time.

Receiving messages of this nature definitely is a red flag and suspicious enough for one to note it is a scam attempt from scammers. If one is sure of messages coming into their mail box without being worried because one knows where it is coming from or one is expecting a mail from a certain address then there is no need to worry but here you are not sure of the sender and then the content is corrupted with malware, one should not bother about looking into it but rather deleting it would be the remedy for your own safety.

Maybe your email must have been a target as a result of possible hack from the Crypto organisation(s) you have registered with and it is not just you alone, I believe others too are having their own share of the message  as it is as you have received it. I actually received mine last month and consistently for 3weeks back to back but I never bothered because I can't remember doing anything with such mail in the past.

There are scammers and then real Hackers. Scammers are the ones who use deceit to carry out their theft like sending deceitful links to people to make them create a vulnerability. They can also be in talk with their victim for a short or long time, during the time they deceive them into letting their guard down. But Real Hackers do not need to be in talk with their victims, they observe from far and exploit security vulnerabilities. Scammers will send clickable links, Real Hackers will not, so you may not even know when you will be attacked if you keep being careless with your security by allowing vulnerabilities.

There are always ways that thieves take advantage of. They take advantage of our weaknesses. Not only email, all messages, the web has the potential to hack the data we have. So actually we must be vigilant and careful not to have excessive fear. In my country, there is a lot of phishing news through the WhatsApp application. They send wedding invitations or letters from banks. But it is an Apk Extension file. Even I myself accepted the invitation but I let it go and block the phone number.

Those scammers are just trying to get us thru our curiosity that's why they always use appealing words to confuse people about what they are trying to offer. But if they click those links for sure they are now their victims and either they attack thru malwares and drained all the wallets installed or try to scam them by to good to be true offers.

That's why its really good for us to ignore such messages so we can getaway on any potential risk that may came to us. Its more better if think about all of it is just a scam so that we will get curious on any spam emails or random messages out of nowhere.

There's a lot of spam with email and SMS today even in social media, emails, and SMS can now block your devices even calls which is came from unknown users so you won't get harm, if you didn't expect coming from better to block, ignore or delete those to prevent getting click or open, most of them have a malware once you downloaded and click that can now compromise your device. My device supported those features so I don't get worry too much in those spams, and also I tried to download a device protection with ESET.

I can't remember how much scam attempts my very first Gmail account has received already, and until now, I still receive notifications that obviously is a scam attempt. If I'm not mistaken, I receive at least 1 per day.

That's my mistake. I used that email to various websites whenever I'm registering a new account, and maybe that mistake of mine is also the reason why my Bitcointalk account got hacked last year. That's an ad that you can see many times on a site like a free movie website but I don't care if it shows " You won an iPhone" because I know it's fake or scam. When I see something like that, I always closed it or leave it as it is and I also tried it myself to click on that and what it ask from me like name for example and number then I will type random number or generated phone number online and fake personal details and after I completed all of it nothing happens.

Thank you mate fir this information and I don't think this is mostly beneficial  to just the newbies  but to every other person. I've seen several similar random emails and notifications and this is more common when using oparamini browsers.
One thing I've known about scammers is the fact that, they never relent on their mission and the end goal and target of their mission is to defraud their clients irrespective  of who their client is or the situation  they might be going through. Another popular tricks used by this scammers is nude and sex scam where you get several sexy pictures with email or whatsapp number attached and the moment you click on them, you're already 80%exposed and people should always learn how to trade with extreme caution on the Internet as I've already learnt the very hard way.
