Definitely if there's a possibility we know how a game will turn out, either a winner or a loss we would place probably a better stake on the bet but for the sake of been on the safe side we mostly tend to place small money to get bigger ones and it could be seen as a way of managing risk, or better still called a risk management strategy to cut down on our losses.

We shouldn't be greedy when we're gambling or we'll regret it, we should have a budget for how much we want to spend for gambling daily and have a limit on how much we can wager on each bet. I place my bet without any regrets, I don't mind if I lost or win but I try not to be tempted to increase my bet just because I feel I'm going to win that particular game. It's always when you feel you'll win that the house wins. Be comfortable with what you win when you bet and move to the next game.
