Wow, what a pleasant sensation, isn't it? from an unintentional mistake ending in happiness, of course, this rarely happens, and as far as I remember, I once did it, but the mistake didn't result in anything good because it only cost me my money because I placed the wrong bet amount of, I'm pretty sure it's almost impossible to happen again, and actually, it's just a coincidence, and if you continue the game thinking that you are having a lucky day the result might be the opposite, but losing the amount you have earned is not a problem because at least you get pleasure from this unexpected event.

Gambling is a game of luck and that's why anything can happen including unexpected things. For instance, sometimes last year a friend of mine went to a betting shop to place his bet in one of the betting companies but a mistake by the betting company agent was the reason he got very different games from the one he wanted to bet on. The mistake wasn't spotted immidiately and when he got home, it was already late to make complaints as the matches has already started. After the matches, he checked his betting slip to see that he won his bet and was so happy about it.

I have never made a mistake like that, but once I deliberately made a mistake by betting on the opponent of my favorite football team using money that was not very important to me, but in the end I won the bet. I never thought that the bet would end in victory because I wasn't serious about the gamble and that was quite funny to me.

Yes many times online and offline I'm the guy who always changes his mind before putting on bets, on online it's a crash game I made the mistake of setting it on 10x times the profit when it should be 5 times and on color games I made up my mind to pick the white one but made an error of picking up the green but I end up winning 3 times the profit as all dice turned white in the roll.

It is still luck sometimes something we least expect to happen happens, it just proved that there's really no guarantee your mistake could be right or what you think is right will turn into a mistake, gambling is really a game of unpredictability.

I don't usually do a mistake on my bets but I remembered before that I won accidentally one-time when I accidentally clicked x2 on betting amount before I set up an automatic bet on a dice game, It run for a minute before I noticed that it is set at x2 than my planned betting amount, I'm lucky enough to win something even if it's not on the plan. It's not something that is huge win but I'm lucky enough to not wiped my capital because of that mistake.

Reading this thread makes me think that it's not that uncommon to see someone who experienced wrong bets but still won.

Very funny indeed mate  , but also realize that some thing you deliberately did is not a mistake, and cant be considered as such, like this one I posted about, I had deliberately did it, then its not a mistake, and posting and referring to it as such would have been a complete lie .

But anyways, I completely understand the feeling, I have done such before but regretted at the end of the day, though I didn't regret that much because the money I used to bet was not significant, but I did feel bad since I knew the team I was supposed to bet for, but decided on my own to bet on the opposite team because for the times I've been betting on team I predicted to win, I kept losing.

So its all about being lucky.

I won a football (soccer) accumulator once where I selected five games (both teams to score so that’s 10 teams all scoring). Or at least that’s what I wanted to select

Congratulations on your win. It is a thing worth sharing and experience worth the time. Sometimes little things we look or see as mistakes turns out to be at advantage in our favour.

 I remembered back then my school days during the champions league final between AC Milan and Liverpool. We had a little talk about the outcome which I had no much knowledge about then so I joined in betting and I did bet for AC Milan. we had already given out the money to a fellow to hold when a friend discouraged me so I went back and it almost resulted to fight because I wanted my money back or I changed it for Liverpool but they refused so I let it be. Fortunately for me the bet ended in my favour and it happens that I and one other person placed bet for AC Milan so we both split the money into two and it was a reasonable amount of money running into some thousands.
That was my first bet experience back then and it was a joyous moment for me because I won it and the money was used for important purpose to fulfill a task which was in need of money.

It happen on me once, but the amount isn't too high. I was playing dice and want to increase the odds, but I miss clicked bet with max amount of bankroll.

I ever tried to intentionally changing the odds to really high or bet with max amount of my bankroll, but the result is different lol. So yeah, you can't make intentionally mistake in order to hope you will win.

Quite a few times to be honest. I was playing BJ and i usually went with a few usd martingale style. (2-4-8) but the phone rang and instead of x2 i clicked max, needless to say that was a pretty nerve wrecking experiene, especially as it was like 3rd hand of the series after teh deposit.
The other time was with Dice, i set up an autoplay but forgot to set limits (i think it was on bitdice) clicked play and went to get coffee, when i came back the bet was at 500$ per wager lol, managed to click stop before it all went poof

I have experienced an incident like this but it was not me who did it but my pet placed the wrong bet in a roulette game which resulted in a win of around $90 with a total bet of $30 (as I remember) and I have told about this experience in the past in another thread.

even my bad experience of placing the wrong bet amount when playing a dice game with a low chance of winning lost my entire budget because I bet all in.

I indeed did have such an experience. But not in gambling but in trading Bitcoin derivatives, lol. I did once mistakenly put in a very large number in for the leverage and almost lost everything. The liquidation was like half a % away from me losing all my money. But lucky for me, in almost the same minute, there was a sudden pump. I made some money and it made me happy. But I am aware that this was a lucky mistake and that most times it goes the other way. Should something like this happen again, I won't hesitate to cancel my order (or in the case of gambling, my bet).

Congratulations on your unexpected win @OP. That is great luck that you can get from your mistakes. This is very rare for gamblers, including me, because not many can get lucky when they accidentally place the wrong bet value.

What I experience most often is that I place a bet with a value that is different from what I want to place. And the result was that I lost. It made me think why I didn't check everything first before betting. But never mind, it happened, and I lost. Perhaps next time, I can get a win.

Yes, it has already happened to me once or twice at dice game. I didn't pay attention to the bet size, and went further, only when I clicked the bet button I saw my mistake, but since that ended well for me, I just felt good for misclicking the bet size. It's really nice when it happens... It feels like it's your lucky day. The problem is when the gambler gets it too seriously, developing megalomaniac behavior and losing his money after all.

Something happened while I was playing QUICK PICK on L0tt0.com yesterday, normally, my maximum bet for each number picked is always the minimum which is $0.25 cent, and I always pick not more than two numbers which costs me $0.5 cent per round, but while playing the game yesterday, I did not know when my finger touched the "Select bet value" slide bar and increased my bet value to $1.75 dollars for each number picked, I then picked my usual two numbers and I was billed $3.50 dollars for that round, this was a total mistake which I didn't even take note of until i saw that I won $28.



I was like wow 😍, with $0.5 cents for two numbers, what I normally won if one of those numbers played is $4, but if both numbers I choose plays, I win $8, but this time, I saw that I won $28, I was like how come? I began inspecting and discovered that my bet was not $0.5 cent, but $3.50 dollars, I was like what the heck, a mistake that turned sweet for me 😋😋.

I'm pretty careful with my presses and clicks when betting as it could affect the outcome of the game I play especially when I was still big on slots and all those time and event-sensitive games. Have not gone so far as to win from a mistake bet or whatever, but I have made a few fat-fingered bets and then lost because of it. I guess I'm just that unlucky but hey, when you bet almost everyday and you make gambling part of your lifestyle you're bound to get a couple of these flukes once in a while yeah?

Not with this particular type of games but I have actually experienced this phenomenom before and it felt good because there is nothing like actually having a feeling of regretting then you found out that you won so it's just like the regret will eventually turn out to be sweetness. During my stake in some sports game I actually did some mistake once or twice that turn out  good especially during my stakes in live games because sometimes the moment I played the bet on a particular team that is winning and all of a sudden unknowning to me that the opposite team has already equalise the game and when I check the scores of the match the outcome is showing draw and the odd of the game will now be three times bigger than actually what I intended in playing but sometimes the team I predicted actually end up winning the game

So whats the concept or how to win up on Lotto on just choosing 2 numbers? Usually if we do speak or talk about lotto then it would really be on few number combinations on which it is really that something that a common requirement for you to win. I might check out Lotto.com later on and see on how you do be able to win up with having 2 number selection. Speaking about mistakes that resulted for a win then i did have those

Well, I have not made this mistake before, but some mistakes usually fall in someone's favor. Although this may not happen all the time, it was luck in your case, and it could have been anyone else. In gambling, since winning is never certain, sometimes the moment you decide to increase your stake, that's when the bet will cut, but staking a small amount may not burst the game and can not even bring a significant win. I know that even if I were the one to make such a mistake, it would not still work in my favor. I don't think I easily get lucky in anything.

I have done it before and some have turned me into profits while most of them have definitely gone wrong and all I’ve got are just pure losses. That’s why as much as possible, I have to check repeatedly my bet and its corresponding amount so I won’t be mistaken again. It’s luck when we commit mistakes and still end up winning, but most of the time its negligence that would lead us into losses when we bet and not even knowing about it.
