Pretty much why my take on the post is that it was meant to become viral and catch sympathizers and not actually make any point. Although it is true that many people are suffering from gambling addiction but such people on losing money usually try to get more money to gamble - such outbursts on social media may be due to such a disorder itself.

Yes, that is true, and the thing is that gambling are very much alive in third world countries, and there are legal casinos and then there are illegal gambling dens, being protected by crooked cops or even corrupt politicians, and so the cycle is really vicious and it will take a lot from a person being born there to not get involved themselves in gambling.

In the third world countries, there is more poverty and the chances of gaining money or changing lifestyles are very rare therefore even if people know the risks involved in gambling they will still take the risks. They have no option but to go for the kill, even it if it is a do or die situation for them, they will still risk it.
