Windows has many spywares that you don't want to use if you are seriously with security. It is about licensed Windows.

You did a worse practice by using a Cracked Windows. You will have to use crack tools that are other risks for your PC security.

When your PC OS is unsecured, Electrum wallet can not help you to store your bitcoin safely.

I use Ubuntu, Centos, or Ubuntu for Lamp servers and firewalls, and for desktop use, I never encounter issues, what is also good is they have a great community

Did you notice that you had to disable your Windows Defender to move the crack file? Some of these crack patches contain viruses and malware. We don't know if this spyware collects your data or not. It's not wise to use these cracks and financial software in the same OS. You can easily find cheap activation keys online. Windows has some resellers who sell those keys very cheaply. It's between $5 to $20 in Bangladesh. It is not worth taking such a risk for this amount. It's only if you are a Windows lover and you are friendly with this OS. Or you can move to Linux for better security.

Maybe you can ran AV, and detect that there is malware or spyware. However, not all AV can detect a newly design or a variant of a recent malware or spyware. So you don't know if there is one in your system until it's too late.

So not sure what you are trying to proved here.

Even if you were using a legitimate Windows with paid license, it still wouldn't be secure to use it as the OS for your bitcoin wallet. Windows by design is a spyware itself and from its inception it has always had a lot of backdoors some intentionally placed there by Microsoft!

Use Windows only if you have to, and use it for your watch only wallet or at least a hot wallet with very small amount of bitcoin (pocket change) and create your main wallet on an air gap system as cold storage.

Your wallet is not safe even with simple habits like using it on the same device that you browse on, if that device is a oireted copy then you can assume there are malwares or viruses on it.

You don't know. I will assume the worst that they did and not use electrum on that device.

Never use cracked software. Never ever. If you are a normal user who doesn't do financial work in Windows or keep important documents, yeah, you can use crack. But it is still not advisable. But if you are a crypto user, obviously you are using bitcointalk, so you have knowledge of crypto. You shouldn't use crack. Who knows what kind of virus it contains?! And it's not that; Windows licenses are very expensive.

And activating Windows won't give you superpowers. You can almost use every feature without activating it. I have been using it without a license for years. I never faced any issues.

Pretty difficult to know if a cracked and modified Windows 10 has malware or not as they're not open-source. But one thing's for sure — it ain't worth risking. If you don't have a hardware wallet(which you should get by the way), at the very least use a mobile wallet. It's likely to be more secure than your personal desktop/laptop computer.

You shouldn't use wallet in the same PC, mostly including full of malware and common attacks are keylogger (record and steal every key you type) clipboard (steal content you copy) and the most dangerous when you enter btc address to send payment malware will change btc address. I faced this issue so many time but fortunately lost only few bucks.

May I inquire why you need cracked windows ? I am using windows without crack and didn't realize any need yet. I will recommend to spend 200$ for one additional Laptop and don't install any crack/ unknown publisher software in the PC you use for wallet transaction.

Not really ideal to us cracked software reason why they are free is there are some modifications added in the software the creator of that modded application can now easily insert malware, or trojan most likely, and of course not having a good layer of security makes your device vulnerable if you are using that device with a lot of confidential information and related to money seems like you are the most valuable target from them if you can earn and have enough money to buy a legit one who not deal with it its for your safety. There no free in the internet, now will depends on you if you want to risk your information just to have free software or not.

You will never know what is modified in the cracked version of your Windows and as said nobody is giving you the software for free, they always need something from you and that is why cracked and modded software are available for free.

Apart from that private version will not receive security updates which puts you at further security risks if there is some kind of malware and it needs to be patched via the security update.

So what you can do is make your cracked PC safer, my suggestion is gonna be different from what others suggested but it will work for you.

You can install a Virtual machine software like Oracle and then install Linux in it which is open source and free of cost.

You have done a wrong thing by installing a cracked copy of Windows 10 on your system. The ones who create cracks are experts at software engineering and reverse engineering and they can add malware, spyware, and any other virus in the crack easily. Most probably they add malware but in a way that's 100% undetectable by any available anti-virus program because the crackers know that the ones who use Windows OS are more likely to spend money online using credit cards and other stuff.

I believe that you wallet isn't safe at all, I recommend you to wipe out your entire drives and then install Linux based Distro that's freely distributed and doesn't need any kind of crack in order to activate it. The Linux is the safest operating system out there and anyone who uses Linux is far more safe than the ones who rely on Windows OS.

I know that most users like Windows OS because it's easily to use but these days there are many Linux distros that can be used be non-tech guys. The distros like Linux mint and Lubuntu are the ones that any user can use without much hassle. The best thing about Lubuntu is that it's less resource intensive and even runs of intel atom based laptops flawlessly.

I wouldn't advise you to use a cracked version of windows or any cracked version software in a computer that you have your wallet installed. You need to ask yourself, why would someone crack up an app that it's supposed to cost you something just to make it free? Most pirated apps are infected with malware that can steal your sensitive information, crypto funds and also take control of your web cam. Please uninstall the cracked windows, go for a licensed windows or install Linux as it is a better alternative. It's free, open source and more secured.

I'm not a gamer, but as far as I know, not all games can run on Linux. To do this, you need an application that all Linux lovers believe makes the system itself less secure. In general, Linux is not for games.
But if we talk about the fact that you need to “bother” with Linux, then it will take a day or two to study at least a video on YouTube. To publish on the forum and work with wallets, such knowledge of Linux is quite enough. And later, you can discover something new in these convenient systems.
