'The Bitcoin History Book' in Progress (RELEASE: September 2024)

For those who don't know me, I work as a warehouse operative (working class person). I don't aspire to succeed much as an employee, but rather strive to be creative as an individual person. The Bitcoin history book is what I devote significant amounts of time to, aiming to create something special for the community (completed book will be on Amazon in SEPTEMBER 2024!!!).  It is the main avenue through which I am exercising my intelligence and diligence.

I know most people in the community would rather hodl their crypto wealth, but isn't it wise to support community effort. All I seek is donations to aid my effort to create a detailed BTC history book. Please show generosity I once knew the community was renowned for in the early years. I look forward to your messages and feedback. I won't give up the task.

For of all, thank you to all those who have commented on this thread including useful feedback.  It is motivating and helps me to assess progress.  I have nearly completed the first draft of 8 chapters covering 2008-2016 (see draft preview, some pages removed) immediately below.  The Bitcoin yearly history chapters begin on page 44 after introductory and other BTC related

To be honest, I am slightly baffled about the lack of generosity from the community.  Countless time and energy has been put into it so far, and I am determined to write draft pages for 2017-end June 2024 next year.  I'm far from a greedy person (live in a small terrace house with terrible heating and an abomination of a garden) who continuously loves to learn and work hard.  Moreover, I turn down overtime at work in favour of writing this book.  If you can, please donate:

For one year, I've been researching and writing about the full 2008-2024 Bitcoin history.  I plan to self-publish a 300 A4 page book (colour interior) on Amazon by September 2024.  It will cover all major Bitcoin milestones from inception of the blockchain to the end of June 2024.  I've spent countless hours collating and presenting relevant history by writing 16 page yearly chapters. Probably one of the best e-book I've stumble and is surprisingly free the chronological is well organized, and it brings back the best memory of when Bitcoin was being developed and promoted while reading I was wondering where was I during those times I'm sure some of us here wish that they have stumbled Bitcoin on its earlier stage.

I quickly browsed through the book to take a look. I found the book's format to be very good, rich with information and illustrative images in a way that provides a lot of interesting information without making the reader bored as a result of the book's long pages.

It is true that the history of Bitcoin is not far away, but it is full of major events that deserve to be documented, so it is not easy at all to compile this large amount of information accumulated during all those years.

First of all, I want to congratulate you on the initiative, if it is well prepared I think it is something that has everything it needs to be successful.

Well, I didn't read everything, because being in English it would take a while.

But, from what I've seen, I think the book's layout could be improved. In some parts it seems somewhat confusing. So, I would suggest, if possible, taking a less orange approach (I really like this color), and having a "cleaner", simpler timeline that makes reading easier. This is because, currently, you don't see the difference between the points you want to highlight and the rest.

Therefore, I think I could try to improve this page layout a little, it would certainly make things even more interesting.

There are a lot of existing e-book about Bitcoin but the majority of these are general information about Bitcoin and some about prediction and potential this is the only e-book I've found so far that explores Bitcoin's complete history from the beginning its still incomplete and on draft but once completed its worth reading and going to be a trip down memory lane.

Will we have a succeeding edition like 2022 onwards because the Crypto community is very dynamic there's always something new events coming in and will this continue to be free, this is a great contribution for the community and worth reading for those coming in.

You should be able to view it if your browser supports it, not to mention it uses Google Drive to host the file. If what you mean can't load many pages is there are some pages with no content, I'm sure it is because OP is still making a draft and not the final book. I'm pretty sure OP will focus on the formatting when there is enough content or the publishing time comes closer.

I have a pc with a large ssd and a lot of ram I fully downloaded it to look at it at my leisure.
