My advice to every newbie out there, without patience you cannot be successful in crypto.

Once all strategies are mastered in trading, they will be meaningless without patience. You are right, without patience the desire to achieve success often results in failure because patience is the most important point among the important indicators that must be applied in every market condition. Maybe when market conditions are bearish, the level of patience needs to be increased more strongly.

Trading is an activity when is the best time to buy and sell. In practice, patience is the key.
The advantage behind trading goals in my opinion is a bonus. Loss will always follow.

Sincerely speaking, this is something that has happened to crypto enthusiasts and investors. It can be difficult to find anyone who will say they have not been in this situation, where you are under high pressure, but all you need is patience. At some point, I was very reckless when I invested money in Bitcoin. The only advantage is that my mindset changed, and I started thinking about the long term instead of the short term.

The market is so rude to investors many times that it makes them change their lifestyle of investing money in the market. It changes your style of investing from short-term to long-term. I also prefer to do long-term investment because it is stress-free and will provide more opportunities for the investors. It will also provide more free time for the investors to avail themselves of more opportunities, while those who are trading have to spend a lot of time on screen.

And sometimes, patience is not good. For example, if a coin is bought by you at the hype and it starts to go down after you buy it, but you are a patient man, you will try not to sell it and will keep patience and wait for it to go up by realizing the fact that you bought it at the wrong time. Now is the time for you to save as much as you can and book the loss while keeping some funds in your wallet instead of losing all of it.

That's why I said the market is so rude that it makes people lose patience and leave the market for all in one. I also spent a little time in the future market a few days ago and lost a decent amount in greed.

The only cryptocurrency that worth patient is bitcoin and apart from bitcoin, I don't think that patience will help you gain from from altcoins,

I don't really think it's only Bitcoin that deserves patience as long as you've made your research and you are consistent with it, I don't see any thing keeping you from not holding, but most alt coins are not worth HODling for.

Coming  to the term of "how long" what really matters is your point of entry, that will determine how long you are going to be investing

For example ,

Trader A buys at the bottom,  Trader B bought at the top

Trader A would have made some profits  before hitting Trader B's entry points

In such scenario  Trader B needs to HOLD for a longer period unlike Trader A which might consider opting out earlier compared to Trader B

This is the problem people who are impatient normally encounter when they are unable to hodl. It is so disappointing people don't still understand bitcoin,  if the price of bitcoin falls I wonder if they think the price will continue to fall and will never increase again.  The fall of price can be opportunity for investor's to buy more, it can also be a distraction to investor's which can make them to be panic to sell their bitcoin.  Their is no dip without that won't later come with an increase of price , this is something people needs to know. Bitcoin is not a stable coin or a coin that only depreciates.  The way their is a a dip in the market the same way their is an increase of price in the market.

The only cryptocurrency that worth patient is bitcoin and apart from bitcoin, I don't think that patience will help you gain from from altcoins, but rather it will make you run at big loss and you will regret it. Bitcoin is worth hodling for more than 10 years and the value might still keep on appreciating because it is decentralized. A hodler works with patience in other to accumulate more bitcoin to his investment portfolio and also, to be able to make profit in bitcoin you must be patient with your investment, since bitcoin price movement is cyclic. Don't use this method for any other cryptocurrency, in fact don't invest in altcoins.

It wasn't really easy to HODL your Bitcoin or your cryptocurrency since it needs a lot of patience just do it for years, even though you know that Bitcoin is going to skyrocket its price you are probably gonna end up selling your Bitcoin because you want to earn a good money easily. In my experience, the trick in this kind of investment is having multiple sources of income, and saving a good amount of savings, In my early days in cryptocurrency investment, I struggled to hold my investment, and most of the time I sold my investment not at a loss but most of the time just needed the money and needed to sell it. So just having a good amount of savings, insurance, emergency funds something like that you could easily forget about your cryptocurrency investment, Now I have multiple sources of income, one of which I use to invest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and the other income are use and budget for my self and my needs, with that I could easily avoid panic selling when the market is down I can easily hold since I dont really need the money at any time since I have other sources of income so I can endure for years and wait for the Bullrun and make a good profit on it.

We do really need a patience on this because if we rush all of our decisions for sure it will never result to any good to us. Crypto is fast moving investment especially when you want to trade it that's why patience is really important since it can give us good potential profits. You might really think to quit especially if you didn't get the result that you want but if you try to learn from the mistake you committed for sure you will have second thoughts to do that but instead you want to test out again and be more careful on your decision making.
