Because most user here is men which means woman's sports is not that popular for discussion here in the forum. Female in general is not attracted on gambling therefore there’s very little demand on sports involved woman in gambling industry.

Most user here follow men sports as support to our favorite team. Sports existence is not for gambling while gambling is not that popular to woman. It just happened that sportsbook cover both gender for their book.

if you check enough sportsbooks you'll see them offering odds on women's sports, though I usually see odds on women's football or volleyball. also, the reason why men's sports are mostly talked about by sports bettors is because it is far more popular than women's sports and there are far more viewers too.

About the question, I think it's because traditionally people are used to watching the men's game and now that there's also a league for women it still needs to gain attraction for more people to support it.
Even women fans do watch the men's game more but I don't think there's a deep meaning with that. It's just that it must be introduced to people first and it's not like in just a snap fans will come to watch them. It's slow, but I do believe they are getting there.
WNBA had been selling out their tickets in the playoffs and now in the Finals so it's somehow improving.

Women sports I think does not have that vibes and momentum like the men sports and in terms of popularity, the men sports are much more popular compared to the women sports although women are good players because the time I watched their sports, I saw good players amongst them and their performance was excellently displayed for all to see but I think their sports should be given priority to make public and gain more recognition it deserves. At least they gain attention and recognition when it comes to other sports like volley ball and basket ball. Although I have seen some  of the casinos put up women games for gambling too which is encouraging so that the female would have that sense of belonging and to patronize their gender games as well.

I had another thought about the women sports as it relates to performance. Not every  gambler knows the women team key players to gamble for. Some do check for historical performance before gambling because that gives one a bit assurance of win in the men sports and another too from analysis from others gamblers that do play men sport game regularly too one can gamble but in the women sports if you are not a regular type that watches female sports how do you know gamble even when you have some one to do the analysis for you, you would doubt it because their names are not popular.

Female sports are not popular in many countries. In fact, many people don't watch female games in my location because they see it as a waste of time. I think it also has some cultural and religious undertone. Most cultures or religions don't give women the privilege or freedom to express themselves. In some nations, females are barred from engaging in some sports and this will discourage investors from gambling firms. Another issue is that you can't compare the quality of male sports and female games. The male competition is more serious, exciting and entertaining. Sometimes female sports are so boring that you might even sleep off watching them. But this doesn't mean that there are no interesting female matches.
All sports are unpredictable so we cannot assume that female games are easier to predict. An example is the just concluded World Cup when some African nations defeated a few highly rated female teams. Popular games like the female World Cup are also covered by some gambling houses but I have never bet on them.

Maybe what you have seen up to now is that most of the gamblers here are almost the majority of men so they will only discuss sports for men such as football and most of the big league events are in men's sports and rarely see women's sports, but if I'm not mistaken there are also gambling sites that are open for betting on women's sports such as women's football championships so you can check them out on the big gambling sites.

Gambling on sports played by women, not knowing what to bet on, even though women often compete in tournaments such as: Football, volleyball, swimming, boxing and so on, so what should be bet on, I don't think there is, for example, football teams/clubs don't even know their names, let alone female players, who should be proud or prioritized.

In my opinion, sports played by women are not for betting, women's sports are only for watching, maybe that's what gamblers would do better, rather than taking risks, betting on sports we must really understand and follow all the actions, situations whether it is for players, teams or clubs, You could say that 1% of me knows the names of athletes in the world of sports, I understand very little about women's sports, I don't know what to bet on.

My reasoning for avoiding women's sports is the same as betting on tennis it's too unpredictable or competitive than what you'd expect. I remember betting on the Women's Champions League a few months ago, and when it came to the playoffs, you can never trust the big favorites to secure the win most of the time (even with the home advantage). When you assume that low engagement on women sports is due to casinos not offering odds on the sports, I would say that its far from that, at least, in the last women world cup that ended just few months ago, a lot of casinos, both global and local casinos offered odds on the games, I even placed a few bets on some of the games, some I lost while other I won,

Personally, I would say that the major reason why discussions on women sports is very low is possibly due to the low interest, you will agree with me that women sports is not always as interesting as the men's, and this I assume is because men's sports are more competitive than that of the women, and it doesn't end there, men display aggressiveness in their game, which is something i believe the fans like to see, its trilling and always exciting.

Not really so because most times,  I bet on both male and female matches and that some time my most favourite leagues to bet on women is the USA leagues,  and this most matches must be played around 9 pm-12 pm games that are line up this time are mostly going to end with whatever results that the match enter the second half with and that is how best I select those women games.

I also suspect that the reasons why most football or other sport bettors prefer to speculate the male matches more than the female matches is because females score more in their matches and it seems so hard to predict how many scores and which club is going to score higher in the matches,  so this male footballs matches becoming the favourite for some sports speculators.

Just my honest opinion, because they are not popular as sports played by men and also the number of teams/players/games are comparatively a lot less in women's sports that is why you mostly see sports betting on games played by men but there is no restrictions for anyone to bet on any game, if you are someone who watches that sport then you may have knowledge about it then you can share it with other gamblers to gain traffic for that game.

Since you are talking about all sports except tennis. I rarely like to watch tennis. However, let's come to your point, all gamblers bet on sudi men's games. The main reason for this is that the sports that we gamble or like to bet on are men's sports because we mostly watch men's sports. So all those who are gamblers are more experienced in men's games, be it football, cricket or casino etc. Although women's sports are seen on the surface, they are always watched carefully, because of which many things remain unknown about the game. For example: how a team plays, how they have played in the past, how a player plays, etc. From my experience I can say that to bet on any sport one must have thorough knowledge about that sport. If one bets before becoming experienced then the gambler will definitely lose his money.

Lets really talk about being frank is that watching womens games is really that too booring comparing to men specially on sports that we do know.Lets say that we do really knowledgeable when it comes to a certain sport but still ending up on not to bet with those women games which its true that been said that if we dont really know or not really that popular of a certain team of women then we dont really be that bothering on taking up some bet. I think you are missing the message the OP is conveying. The emphasis is on why gamblers don't play much of women sports in their selection... it is not of we do watch women sports or not. Besides, we don't watch most of the sports we gamble on.

Well, it's not that I hate it but I feel like I can't tell the stats of these women. Just like I pointed out in my earlier reply,  betting on women games is one of the most bet that I choose most especially when I know that the time is late and most of the teams are tired since I know how active women are in scoring goals which make their matches hard to predict and one of the reasons why gamblers avoid those women leagues games,  but then truly women games are also popular in other sports games that the reasons why it not most discussed here and since we don't have a dedicated thread for that discussions,  ain't of us will simply not be active enough to mentioned women in our discussions here in the board.

Answers to all these questions you asked are not the reasons because they are subject to the real reason. There is a causative factor that made it less focused on. There are gambling sites and gamblers who gamble on it, there are media houses that cover their activities yet it will not be as population as the male counterparts.

Here, the real reason that male football is more watched, followed, engaged or advertised on is male football is the standard that has been placed in football. That is everything thing about the football comes from male football and the female football is a follow up. This means the male football is the standard to be looked upon. It is just like saying, the original version of female football is male football and when spectators look at female football, they don't see what they see in male football which is the standard looked upon. Therefore, it creates a lot of traffic interms of adverts because advertizers know they would regain their from sales. Sponsors know they will generate money from tickets.

It is a circle that creates money from different angles both for gamblers. Not many gamble on female football whilst not or advertizers decide to run adverts on female football or hugely on it because they know the spectators are usually not much compared to the male.

However, this is likely the situation of any male dominated sports and also for female dominated sports because there is the standard set for the games by the sex (man or female) who started it and created the precepts.

Perhaps in the short past, say... 20 years, that appreciation would be 99% true, but today I have seen bets even on dart throws.

Yes, there are world championships for anything "sports" and yes, women are there for you to place your bets.

Maybe it's your cultural environment and you don't see them, or! The trend is that I observed only male bets.

But! there are bets on women in sports. Now, for example, if you are in India, the predominant women's bets will be very different from those in my region, because, for example, in these parts they bet on women's soccer.

Now the percentages are very different between women's and men's sports, mainly because entertainment bettors, who are the most popular traffic in sports betting, bet on sports that they think they know, it is normal, and! I do think that the sports industry is generally dominated by male players which makes it more desirable to bet against.

Not to be sexist or anything whatsoever, but there are only a few sports where women are involved. In sports betting, most of these gambling platforms focus on games that are already well-known to the public for everyone to participate and bet against. If they show a match between two (2) female players which are relatively new to the sports industry, this can be quite challenging for them to forecast their prediction.

Though this may be the case, I still hope that most gambling platforms allow sports-betting in the women sports section as this can stir everything up.

Women's events weren't watched much. Even with the men's matches we weren't able to predict the outcome perfectly. The outcomes used to go away from what we had predicted. It doesnt have to determined by gender exactly more likely the population and size of the games.  A larger more mainstream game is far less volatile a result then the smaller type games, regardless of which league it might be.  Some people might go for the more changable outlier type games but the majority of bettors will stick to the mainstream big games.

We do live in a world on which there's always that fine line in speaking about things which a certain gender could do and whats not. We do see that female sports arent really that much interesting as a male person on which you would be always preferring on seeing to those men who do play which is more robust and not really that feminine on which you could really be able to say that interest is really that high comparing into those women athletes or matches. I think the reason why people don't really place bet on female sport is because people don't really watch female sport so they are not so sure which team is the strongest to win a game. Gambling is about predictions based on how much a teams ability is to win. Since people are not too sure about the female sport it won't good for people to place a about a game that is not sure if it will end win, so their is no need in spending money which can easily become lose at the end of the game. Male sport dominates and attract more attention,  it is easy for gamblers to bet.

The main reason is I don't watch that much women sports. I know women can excel in a lot of sports and are sometimes better than men when it comes to certain categories, but it just isn't my cup of tea. To be honest in all my years of watching matches I believe I have only sat down to watch female matches just two to four times and I have no idea about their games so if a thread is eventually opened for them you’ll still get low response on the thread which will eventually make it be buried deep inside threads that will be created.

And if you check mega threads of football you’ll still see that no one talks about the game because they don’t know and most probably don’t like the game… unlike when men are playing you see tensions everywhere but for women not like. And remember that the more the number of people that are interested in a topic the better the discussion will be but if you have few numbers of people interested in it then you might as well not bother to create a thread for it.

I watch our local women's volleyball here in our country and most of the sports in the casino are dominated by men because there are more male bettors than female so these casinos mostly cater to men.

The first is there are lack of engagements in women sports most especially In football. The women games in football that are mostly watched is the international games which are not frequent like the club games. In the club games you get to watch more. I have come to realise that female do not really put interest in their fellow female activities much in n the sense that things of this nature does not excites them rather they prefer to go watch the male sports with their man and secondly, the female does not really give in to sports activities as they are not really given the attention when it comes to sports development back in the days. Majority of men are involved in gambling than women, that’s why most of the gambling games are certainly for men. For example, I see men play more in sports betting because they are more skilled in the game, while women play, but most probably there is no competition in their game. I think that most well reputable casinos offer odds for women soccer sports but the fact that most people do not bet on them is that they score loads of goals,the odds are really low as the difference and quality of the teams is huge at least in the national teams.For the clubs I don't know if they are offered the odds but I have seen that they are in some cases and again the reason why most people do not bet on such events is that they have not enough information as they have for men football which they watch on TV every weekend,no one watches women games and that must be the reason why not many people bet on these events.

I believe that the problem is not exactly the fact that we (bettors) don't want to bet on them, but rather the fact that there are much fewer championships involving female athletes.
Even though discrimination in sports has decreased a lot, it is still much more common to have major competitions for men than for women.
Furthermore, it is more difficult to find good bookmakers that have opportunities for as many types of women's sports as those available for men.

Because they don't seem to be able to put the same amount of body into football as men do, and since everyone wants to gamble on things they understand, and since their play was so annoying to me even on the gambling site, I would rather sleep than watch their football. I can only speak for my personal experience and what I heard from my friends, we don't watch woman sports. My most watch sport types are football, basketball and CSGO. In all of these games there is a huge difference between male and female performance. Sometimes I check scores for big tournaments, but I would never watch a full female match in that category. All my friends have the same opinion, even during the football world cup for woman I didn't know anybody who was watching the full games. And the next step is that I would never be betting on games that I don't actively follow. There are enough games I watch where I can bet money on that I don't need to switch to female sports. Women's sports are not only less popular all over the world but also only few television channels stream women's sporting events due to their lower interest and you can notice that we don’t hear that much about their finals or even female world cup. Even though in the last couple years, we have seen a slight difference in media and events especially in football. I believe the most popular sports for women are athletics and volleyball. The comparison ratio between the two event varies very greatly as men sports is more watched and has a higher number of participation and fans, but the women sports is something that is gradually growing and even has limited involvement in some sport books but I know it's all a thing of due process and time as it's gradually gaining population and crowd.

As others have said, men's sports are watched the most at the moment and when there is wider coverage there is less likely to be cheating involve (the most extreme example, but a consideration that most betting sites will be making). I see no difference on betting on either type, but you go with what is currently on offer at the bookmaker, which currently is almost exclusively men. Unless you get into things like tennis, or special events like the women's golf tour. There should be zero difference in the profitability between mens and womens, bookmakers calculate odds on the outcomes - while there may be a little less data potentially available, the odds would still be priced as reasonably as possible.

First of all I think popular mens sports have more popularity than women sports. And for this most gambling websites give more priority to men's sports in their options. However things have decreased now as now many good gambling websites support women's sports.
Now I don't know who you blame for men's sports being popular, maybe our social system. From the past it has been happening that women are less interested in sports although it is changing now but I think psychologically women are less interested in such sports and their participation in them as well as all other related activities have fallen behind. Very few watch women's games whereas the majority gets used with the men's. For some people it used to be surprising to know are women team in every game. It is true that currently women's involvement in the world of sports is very large, but because of the relatively large physical differences, men's sports are more exciting and of higher quality compared to women's. So men's sports are very interesting to watch because after all sports really rely on physicality as a determinant. The match is less exciting to watch, less challenging to place a bet there and there is no greater sensation when betting there.

The physical differences between women and men are too great, this is what makes sports played by women not very popular among sports fans and sports betting players. There are past threads about the involvement of men and women in gambling but I think this one here is a little different. Now on the question, I think it has to do with the number of games that are available. There are lots of games which are being played by men than women.

Another thing is that women aren't like men when it comes to sports or gambling interests. Lastly, as a men, I think it's kind a gay if I will prefer the women's sports. In terms of chances of winning, I think it was still the same. The game is still being played usually by the two opposing teams or players. Each of them has a hunger to win but doing some analysis might help.

Because why would people bet on a sport that they are not following? I bet regularly on e-sports, basketball, boxing, and MMA.
