What's up with two threads about BADecker in one day?  He must frequent the Off-topic section, because I can't say I've ever come across a post of his at random.  Now as far as giving him a special rank related to trolling activities, that seems like something that ought to be voted on by the community, not assigned by Theymos.  And even if there were such a vote in the form of a poll or whatever, what do you think the chances would be of Theymos actually going for it?  I seriously doubt he would, especially since such a rank would be an insult.

The little devil that lives on my shoulder really wants something like this to happen.  We need to seriously liven things up around here, don't you think?

P&S actually. I don't go there much, but you can see he's dedicated to spreading a lot of conspiracy theories. You name the conspiracy theory, he believes it. I remember there was a thread about him already. I think I haven't put him in my ignore list because almost everything he writes is on the P&S board.

You know, it's often said there's no cure for cancer, but what if BADecker has a solution? It might be worth a shot.  

Seriously, Joeyp shouldn't be upset. This is a forum where people have diverse opinions. If he doesn't like a post, he can just skip it; it won't hurt him, I'm sure. Or maybe, if he doesn't want to visit the forum, there are way worse misleading posts out there. But you might be right, what if Joeyp is dealing with a condition like cancer, or perhaps he's a doctor who does not want his product to be competed with BADecker's ? You never know.

None of the members have that kind of title so far, he'd be the first if it happens. So, let's leave it to Theymos to check how relevant it is.
If it gets approved, it should definitely show up on the profile. It almost feels like we're reminiscing about April Fools' here.

I added a system of badges to SMF a while ago, though only two are defined now. Here are the current badges:

Bitcoin expert	Dev&Tech only. People with this badge know enough about the Bitcoin network to reimplement something very like it from scratch. They are capable of intelligently discussing the Bitcoin network: current protocol, possible attacks, proposed changes, etc. Criteria: Recommendation by an existing Bitcoin expert or core dev and approval by a forum administrator.
Bitcoin-Qt core developer	Dev&Tech only. These are the core developers of Satoshi's Bitcoin client. They are listed here. Core developers are among the top contributors to Bitcoin-Qt, and they are all bitcoin experts, though they don't also get that badge.
Troller	Awarded for people who keep spreading FUDs, misinformation, conspiracy etc.

A core dev does not "outrank" a bitcoin expert (or vice-versa), and it's possible for someone without a badge to contribute meaningfully to a discussion with experts and core devs.

For a second, you really got me. I taught that it was really fast for such a custom title to be added close to the user's rank. Just this fast, it could have made me wonder if the admin was really waiting for such a motion to be moved, and he just immediately gave the user the custom title. But no, I was all wrong in visiting the link, and I notice that just some editing appears to be perfectly placed in the right place and right thread of discussion.

I really don't know if there was some member to whom their thread and discussion obsessed so much due to the content it carries to the extent that they needed a whole new board assigned to them alone. It's ridiculous to imagine, especially when the said person might be someone a few newbies might be looking up to to learn from.

Every human being is born with brain and as we grow up, we learn analytical and critical thinking. So, if someone writes that fish oil treats anemia, doesn't mean you should believe that. In the first case, you should either completely ignore that or do your own deep research or at least check them on websites like mayoclinic and drugs.com

Since this topic is about the BADecker's post on some medications against cancer, I still think he shouldn't be marked for that. Internet is free, just type Fenbendazole on ncbi.nlm.nih.gov and you'll find some interesting answers.
By the way, in our life, problem is not that BADecker talks about what he doesn't know, the problem is that FDA is a very corrupt organization also and they accept drugs from pharma companies that pay the most. FDA often ignores every bad side of drug if proper sum of money is paid.

I cannot tell if you're being sarcastic, joking, or what.  Hopefully so, because there's no way in the hottest hell a member like BADecker knows something about cancer that's been eluding scientists for decades/centuries.

And aren't we living in a world where unpopular opinions are expected to be stifled as soon as they're discovered?  I've noticed that a lot on Youtube where creators can't even use the word "suicide" because it's apparently such a horrible word that it'll get videos demonetized.  And then there's all of the things you can't say with respect to identity politics.  So what I'm saying is that perhaps Joeyp is one of those new-generation youngsters who expect people to say what they want to hear and nothing they don't.  I don't know, but I don't care how outrageous BADecker's (or anyone else's) conspiracy theories are; they should be debunked instead of censored.

Well, that's not my problem, is that? I know that some folks believe anything they see on TV. I can tell you even worse, some people get calls from strangers that offer them investment options and these people tell them their debit/credit card numbers, it's hilarious. Life is different today, you can't even trust so called licensed doctors anymore because they are just salesmen. Perfect example: Your child has ADD or ADHD, you go to the doctor and doctor tells you that we should give Vynvase or Adderall to her to the rest of his life. Seriously, when you are a parent, does it really require any knowledge of medical terminology to analyze that it's not a good idea to put your kid on strong drugs like amphetamines for the rest of her life? So, my perception is that in life you have to fight and shake your head or you will become a victim of others. Absolutely every day and night I prefer freedom of speech and prefer to act according to my critical thinking and abilities rather than to be under someone's caged censorship.

Obviously, I was just kidding, dude. I'm not really into medicine that much, but all I know is there's no cure for cancer yet. So, my response on the thread started by @Joeyp wasn't about the whole cure thing. I was more focused on that statement that goes something like this.

He got it wrong there. He jumped to the conclusion that the merit system doesn't work just because of some fake info.

Agreed, albeit, after awhile, debunking the plethora of BADecker nonsense on this forum over the years is like beating a dead horse.
