Taking a bit of inspiration from other boards, I am starting this thread which should serve as a place to welcome and onboard new members in the Indian Local section of the forum.

Please follow the local rules and be polite and welcoming to everyone. No racial or caste based slurs nor any political debate please - I personally hate them most.

Newbies can take the following format to introduce themselves:
Code:
Username -
Currently residing in -
How did you get into cryptocurrency? -
Your skills if any?
Things your co-members might want to keep in mind about you -
Anything else you might want to share -
Feel free to edit the above list but try to keep it short and simple.  Grin

Looking forward to meeting all the new and budding members of India, lets make this local a fun and engaging community!  Cool
PS: Inputs from the rest of the forum members are welcome!
PPS: Older members are also welcome to try this.
PPPS: Nobody is perfect, so be nice to everyone.

R

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)
