The meme do give us motivation to keep pushing forward but it is not applicable with what @OP is telling us.  In that meme, the other person just give up, and stop completely while @OP's suggestion is to have a break and pause for a while to remove all the negative feelings like stress and frustration and come back when these negative feeling is gone and we have the free funds for our gambling session.
