Good decision actually to buy bitcoins and not to rush anything unwanted since you might regret the decision if you bought the bike immediately. you did a right choice for saving bitcoin since it has huge potential to rise up especially that halving is long time speculated by many people and many is positive that we can see a good price to be reached for that time so maybe you will be lucky for that if the saved amount will get doubled for that time and after that you can buy your dream bike. Also maybe next time don't dream on material things maybe target to hit more bigger investment since it can really help you change your life if you do good decision on investing on bitcoin. But also be careful upon expecting to much and make sure that you are always active to see the market daily result on next year so that you can decide if you want to sell while there's a good chance to execute your sell orders and buy your long awaited dream bike.

You are right and the OP did plan and make the right choice because Bitcoin will definitely make that happen, and what I like about the OP is his goal of owning a motorbike. Because if investing has a goal that you have dreamed of for a long time then that will be a motivation and you will be serious about doing it and you just need to be patient to make it happen.
However, if the OP believes or waits for the halving to come and as everyone expects, it would be better if he continues to do periodic purchases or DCA after investing $750. And make purchases according to your ability, even in small amounts, because with this plan OP can realize his motorbike and other goals after the halving comes and you have to be patient.

You have taken a big step by deciding to invest in bitcoin. I am very confident that bitcoin will touch a new ATH again. And my prediction is $100k. Well, for sure if you continue to invest in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin you can easily get your dream bike, I mean I personally did it myself, I did buy my first bike using my Bitcoin investment, and these moments I'm already planning to upgrade buying my second bike which is more expensive than my first bike, For sure most of the people are going to say that it is just material things something like that but it doesnt matter since it's an investment and the goal here is to make a profit, when you make a profit there's a reason for that and for some people its there dream bike. So I believe you could easily achieve your dream bike, there is no guarantee that the market price is already going to skyrocket in the coming Bitcoin halving event, but if you can hold long term and just dont sell your investment at a lower price your still going to make a profit on it. So just be patient and continue to HODL your Bitcoin until the Bull Run.

If you could DCA and accumulate more Bitcoin hold for years it is possible that you could even buy a bike that is even better probably a 1000cc bike already, but as long as you sell at a profit it's still great because this is a risky investment so there was no guarantee that the price is gonna continue to pump, so its always great to take profit from time to time.

Having a cause/target /dream will help to save or invest. If you focus on your dream, you are more likely to not waste any money and save until you reach your target. I'm not sure if you have done this before or not, but it is a great thing to do. If this is your first investment then once you taste how money feels like, you will be eager to invest more and earn more rather than just reaching your target and fulfilling your target by buying that you have dreamed of.
Don't stick to the mindset of doubling your investment. Market moves in random pattern. And it is never 100% sure that you will double your investment. Holding Bitcoin is a good practice but you also need to learn when to sell it in order to take your profit. If you even gain 20% profit and the market seems to go down then you should take that profit. And then again buy it with low price to fill your bag. This will maximize your profit rather than waiting for your investment to get double in a single run. But I am no financial advisor. OP stated that he save the money from his salary, it means he has a source of income. Spending the money he save for his dream bike means that he will not have a money, as long as he have a stable job, he will still have a money. The important thing is he have made a decision to make his money to grow. Not just by letting it to deposit in a bank ang wait until he save enough money to buy the bike. The price of the bike may depreciate, but it is still an asset depends on how you use it. If he will use it to go to work, then he will save some time and money compared to public transportation.
He has a goal, and he has a plan. That is the most important thing. It is wise enough not to rush on buying the bike without any plan.

Depends on how thin or deep budget of a person and how much does the bike worth with him, buying it will be good or not good or inappropriate.

Bitcoin is worth way more than one or two bikes.

I would rather invest that money where it can help me more, in life. And that is definitely not in a bike.

On the other hand, everyone lives only once so you may as well live with whatever makes you happier. My views on the entire matter are more long term and profit maximization. I know that 750 USD in Bitcoin today will be much more in the future.

Although that being said, 750 USD is not really a life changing amount, so I guess do whatever you like, I guess. That kind of bike is worth way more than 750 USD, so if 750 USD is a big deal to you, then your dream is going to be long-awaited one.

What problem do you hope to solve with the bike? Is the bike well built for the job, or Is it the right bike to do the job without much issues? How about its user, can he/she also do the job well with the bike?
How important is the solution to the problem, by the way? Does the solution help you alone or more people? The more people it helps the better, else the more you should consider using the money for something good and more profitable.  Maybe consider holding the money longer in Bitcoin and learn to multiply it further with good investment strategies. Or use it for other good investment or business that's as/more profitable compared to Bitcoin.

I don't think it's a good idea to invest so much in Bitcoin only to aquire something less important/valuable with the profit you made. I would rather give that profit to someone who will use it profitably, especially to the benefit of a "circular Bitcoin economy"

It is a liability and in investing view, it is not good to buy with your money. OP if buying a bike from profit with Bitcoin, still buying a liability but it is still good enough. Because OP will do it from investment profit, not from initial capital or all money OP has.

In another view, it is like. I receive $500 as my salary and I can use $100 or $50 to buy bitcoin. It is not like a crime so if you are happy when doing this, it is just fine for you because it serves your need and bring happiness to you.
