Everyone who tries each of the presented methods will get different results and one method may not work for others. Indeed, addiction is complicated and you have to find ways that can successfully cure your gambling addiction. But at least there must be a desire from the person who is addicted to admit it and want to start healing their addiction. If not, it will be difficult to do because there will be rejection from him during his therapy.

People who undergo therapy cand recover even though it takes time to recover. They will see the results and make them happy because they have succeeded in curing their addiction. And if they can find a low-cost solution to their addiction, they are very fortunate because other people may use other methods that are not as low-cost.

The key ingredient is time.

You need time to recover from any addiction, that's how the brain works.

Then you also need to change something, like the way you react to specific things you experience, and the things you do when you experience them.

The brain slowly rewires itself over time.

Yes, we need time to recover from addiction. It will depend on the wishes of each gambler. Some people can be able to finish the healing process from their gambling addiction in a short time and some people are not able to finish it and instead return to gambling again, where they become increasingly addicted to gambling. This really requires encouragement from various parties so that people who are addicted to gambling can try to heal themselves and be free from their gambling addiction. The person needs to reset his brain again so that there is no desire to gamble anymore and he will do various healing sessions to recover from his gambling addiction.

Yeah, also it's good to remember how long an addiction has been around.

You can't really change years of a specific behavior overnight.

It takes a long time to actually rewire the brain, but it is absolutely worth it.

You end up being a different person, because you literally change your brain over time.

No matter how hard it is to change someone's behavior, I think it still has a chance to change, especially if there is a strong effort from that person to try to change their behavior. If they really want change and are willing to do what needs to be done, they can do it, especially if people close to them are willing to help them through it all. This will not be difficult for the person and his family because they will help each other to survive even in difficult conditions. But the problem is that maintaining the desire to persist will inevitably lead to temptations that can make them return to gambling again.

That's why therapy remains one of the best methods of healing addiction. But people would think that therapy sessions is expensive and they don't know ways to afford them. But in the years of their addiction, they were able to generate money to finance their gambling habit. Forgive me, but it's quite unbearable to see that people easily fund what's dangerous to their health, but hardly could afford what's helpful to the brain. However, they may also lack the knowledge that, therapy doesn't necessarily have to be with a professional. Even the professional can not successfully handle therapy if the gambler is not comfortable with sharing his problems with the therapist. Therapy requires friendship, like building a relationship. The therapist only appears to be the type of friend that the addict has never met in his entire life. When that is achieved therapy begins to flow easily. They both can develop more bonds together and share problems and ways to tackle the dispute. Hence with these few experiences, an addict who is willing to change can confide in a friend he loves to act as his therapist. And it will work.

Same way friends could lead a person to gambling, another friend can also channel the person's brain out of gambling. But in whatever way the addict chooses to follow, time is the most precious commodity the addict needs to change his ill behavior. But I'm not sure that after therapy with a professional or not, the person would be able to stop gambling completely. He can be gambling normally, but won't waste on his money on gambling. Unless he has no access to the internet or a gadget, then I can accept that he won't gamble again. I could remember being glued to video games, but today may not be able to make plans on my own to play video games, but once I see people playing it, I'd be moved to participate. That's how it happens in any addiction in life. The addict only needs to stop being around the people that still partake in that activity.

Yeah, but in terms of blaming other people, the thing is that the gambler has the last word for their actions.

They can't really blame others because at the end of the day, every person controls their own life and behaviors.

That's right, in my opinion, someone who is addicted to gambling will find it difficult to recover from their addiction, because someone who is addicted tends not to want to see anything other than their addiction because they will only focus on gambling, which has become something they usually do. but in my opinion it depends on the level of addiction, if their addiction is serious it is possible that they will not be able to stop gambling and as you said they can go back to gambling and it might even get worse in the future.

and if their addiction is not too serious, chances are they can recover in a short time, but it also depends on themselves whether they really want to stop gambling or not, if they are still hesitant about stopping gambling, chances are they will return to gambling again. a certain time because they cannot control their desire to gamble, and even if they still gamble, I don't think they will gamble within the set budget, but to minimize the risk of serious gambling addiction, perhaps this can be done by reducing their gambling activities and by limiting each budget when they want to gamble, but even so it doesn't guarantee that they won't become addicted to gambling.

All changes must always begin with strong intentions and sincerity from themselves and that means it's useless if many people help even some professionals who are considered to be able to overcome it but still in the end it will be very difficult to do, actually all addicted gamblers can recover by themselves if they have admitted their mistakes and have the intention to change, although the process is not easy and not fast but it doesn't matter because there will always be a process for success.

The awareness and desire that comes out of oneself for a change and also in combination with the help of the closest people I think it will enlarge or even facilitate the recovery process, as we know that the disease of addiction lies in the human brain and if they are already aware of it then obviously they only have to follow some directions suggested by the people closest to them, But before that it is also necessary to consider whether the advice is really good and leads to a change or not, yes I understand it is quite difficult to maintain the struggle for change consistently because the temptation of gambling will always cross his mind, but I think the people closest to him should be able to limit his activities, such as limiting the use of gadgets to avoid.

Unlike regular gamblers, they always stop when they lose or set limits on the number of losses. Gambling addicts often continue to play to regain lost money. People addicted to gambling may be aware of the consequences that gambling causes, but they seem to have no way to control or resist the urge and temptation of gambling. I think that by keeping people addicted to gambling busy, they will no longer have time to think about participating in gambling games and gradually overcome their addiction more successfully. The detoxification process will face many difficulties and challenges, sometimes it takes addicts many years to overcome all the consequences caused by gambling, and at the same time eliminate their interest in gambling.

Yeah, it depends how deep in the addiction the person is.

Also it depends on the why the person wants to stop being addicted.

At the end of the day, addiction is a difficult thing to overcome, and it requires a lot of work and time.

Yes, we can measure the difficulty of overcoming gambling addiction from how serious the addiction problem they suffer is, if it is very para in the sense that they have to justify all means to get money for gambling such as for example taking some actions out of control whether it is stealing or deceiving people then obviously requires an unusual formula or one that is considered powerful enough to be able to overcome it, no matter slowly because however it must take a long time to change their mindset and keep them away from their gambling habits.

There are many reasons that will come out of gamblers, some can be trusted and really say from their little hearts and some are basically just words, usually if they only say and there is no seriousness in terms of not taking any action then here I can already conclude a little that their desire to stop is only when they lose in one of their latest sessions which makes them desperate, but that is only for a moment and most likely when they already have money then they will gamble again.

Overall yes it is true that addiction is one of the things that is difficult to overcome, one of the reasons is because it is very difficult to change mindsets and habits and in addition to addicted gamblers they put hope in the activity so it is difficult to achieve awareness and common sense.

I heard about such organizations before although I don't know much about how their therapy work but i heard such organizations are work for society with free of cost. Although it's common that some of those organization may ask charge for that! But i still confused that, if a person don't have control in himself then how would he follow other instructions? And many addicted student and unemployment people involve themselves in usually activities to manage money for gambling, then how could they manage that fee for therapy? I think self-exclusion is best way to control ourselves and get out of gambling addiction. People can do anything, can get recoverd if they are being serious and dedicated for that matter

I've tried my best to be the very best version of myself, there's certainly no time to hold back but exerting the same energy level received by people. We can make profits and losses from the system, it just depend on what we do and how we're able to stretch our mappings and strategies. Nothing is no longer free in the system, before one would be willingly to grab significant profits in the system, ensure you don't fall among the categories of gambling addicts, they're worsen in every phase they have found themselves and they will continue to glow away.

A gambling addict has ambitions that are truly beyond the limits because they want very big win like jackpot to be able to get satisfaction, and this is the reason why gambling addicts always make efforts to pursue these ambitions but they cannot accept the risks that occur.
Efforts to make very big wins are done by betting that exceeds their limits and in the end they have to lose everything and then mindset occurs that makes it even more difficult, namely to be able to recover from their losses, usually they will borrow certain amount of money to be able to continue betting and to recover.
We all know that this is bad attitude and should be avoided by all gamblers, but for gambling addicts they will only do what makes them feel happy and of course other people advice is only considered nonsense.
Moreover, gambling addict will be very difficult to advise and direct and they will only be able to realize that they need direction and advice when they actually face series of problems that complicate the impact of gambling addiction.
Mental and financial continuity are the factors that cause problems most easily for gambling addicts.
If it is only about money, they can still work and make money, but when they experience mental or psychological problems, they will take quite long time to resolve or cure them.

Those who are experts in this field certainly have a different approach to each person's case. Gambling addiction is not something that can be easily and instantly eliminated. Even when gambling addicts no longer have the capital to play, it has the potential to harm other people.
If certain organizations or communities are willing to provide assistance to gambling addicts, that is a noble job. not only for the gambler, it also impacts the gambler's environment indirectly.
but what is clear is that the process will not be instant.

Yeah, that's one helpful way of treating addiction, to do something else instead.

Specially when the triggers appear, do something else.

For example, if someone always gambles after coming back from work for example, it might be a good idea to say, go for a run after work. That way you end up replacing a bad habit with a good one.

Over time, you will feel better

That's because they don't see other things that can provide fun and entertainment and only focus on gambling so they forget to do other things. Indeed, there are levels to gambling addiction and if gambling addiction is very serious, who knows what will happen to them because there are probably many possibilities that could happen to them. Maybe their life has become worse than we imagined because their focus in life has really changed drastically and they can no longer see any opportunity to heal themselves.

They can recover from their gambling addiction, but it requires a strong desire and effort to do so. But most gambling addicts find it difficult to cure their gambling addiction without help from other people so it will be difficult for them to get out of their gambling addiction. There must be a trigger for them so that they can start to realize their gambling addiction and leave behind things that have a bad impact on their life and there also needs to be support from their family to help them cure their gambling addiction. Having self-awareness is something they must have in their efforts to heal themselves and tell their problems to the people around them so they can help them get out of their gambling addiction.

Yes, one must be sincere and realize that one must change by having strong intentions and also asking for help from the people around them so one can help those who are addicted to gambling. They must be able to open themselves to the presence of people around them who are always ready to help them get out of their gambling addiction. With support from the people closest to them, as well as their desire and effort, they can give good results, and they can see that they still have a chance to cure themselves of their gambling addiction. They can recover from their gambling addiction and although it takes time, it is still worth it. And yes, everything is a process they must go through together with the people around them.

Self-awareness and desire will make them see that they have done the wrong thing in their life and it is time for them to change it by living what they must do. They will not stop trying, especially if they have seen changes in their lives while they are healing. When they can see it, they will become even more enthusiastic to continue doing it, and they can still survive even though they may find it hard to go through it. However, the support from the people closest to them made them strong in going through every process because they realized that they had to go through everything to recover from their gambling addiction.

Yeah, it depends how deep in the addiction the person is.

Also it depends on the why the person wants to stop being addicted.

At the end of the day, addiction is a difficult thing to overcome, and it requires a lot of work and time.

Yes, it's like that, because for example someone who is seriously addicted to it is likely that they will find it difficult to stop gambling because the gambling that has become attached to a person is difficult to get rid of, and also if they don't have the awareness to stop gambling then it will be difficult to recover, even though there is encouragement from the family to help them to leave or to make them aware. In my opinion it cannot make them aware, because they themselves do not have awareness of what they are doing, which is what makes them harm themselves.

No matter how hard they try to help someone become aware of gambling, I don't think they will realize that they themselves don't have their own awareness.

That makes sense, maybe it's true that they don't see other things that give the same pleasure, and indeed in my opinion there are still many other things that are more fun that don't require money to get pleasure. In my opinion, if they are already heavily addicted to gambling, of course their lives will be destroyed, because people who are addicted to gambling tend to only think about gambling and maybe they always prioritize gambling in their lives, and of course prioritizing gambling is not a good thing, because like that it will make them only focus on gambling, even if they don't have enough money but they will try something to be able to make money so they can do gambling again.

I think the main thing is to have your own awareness, before your family or friends who provide support, I think that's the main thing.

That is one way to prevent gambling addiction which is to distract yourself with something much better like exercising. We know that people use gambling as an excuse sometimes a distraction to themselves where they can entertain themselves and forget all their problems, which can worsen their situation by just simply losing more money in the house. Plus sometimes they are not that aware of that addiction cause it's already been part of their lifestyles, unless someone points out that gambling is really bad if overdone. They wouldn't quit for just a day for sure, but they would think about it, and would take time for them to realize that gambling won't do anything good for them. I gambling as well, but I don't think that I can consider myself addicted as I don't think it about all the time maybe rarely when I have the time. It might be the reason of too busy in the world.

It is really just that too impossible that you wont really be able to realize for yourself on the things that you are currently doing. It is impossible that you cant be able to determine whether you are spending up tons of money already with gambling or you are really that still in moderation. The main thing that you should really be trying out to avoid is on making yourself that getting addicted with gambling because once this thing would shackle you out then getting out would really be that too damn hard. This is why on the first time that you do really get involved with gambling then you should really be that responsible on whatever actions you would really be taking.Trying out to resolve addiction doesnt really come easy or would really be that short time.
You would be needing to assess on where you would be able to find yourself to get distracted on the time that you do see gambling on which avoiding it at all
cost should be your priority on the time that you do see that you are that impulsive into it.
