We don't have to show our Mnemonic Phrases to our family. But teaching our family about bitcoin would be much better. At least make them understand how to create a bitcoin wallet, back it up and re-import it. Teach them how to receive and send bitcoins and tell them that Bitcoins are very valuable even though their prices are always fluctuating.
