I got into Bitcoin as a college student though I am not involved in earning yet but I have a lot of interest in Bitcoin and I am planning to hold Bitcoin. My father is a Malaysian expatriate. He receives a salary of $500 per month and sends $400 per month to support my family. I collect all the money from my father's salary and spend it for family support. Recently I have made a plan to invest a certain part of my father's salary remittance in Bitcoin but in this case I don't understand whether it should be invested in Bitcoin. People who are not aware of bitcoin will never support bitcoin investment even if I/you understand bitcoin well. I understand why they recommend gold as it's worthy asset they are grew up with and understand why it has value and this conditioning has been so ingrained that they refuse to see further.

Either way, if you can accumulate Bitcoins and hold them for a long period of time, it will definitely turn into a great asset. If you get $400 per month from your father's money and keep some of that money in bitcoins, you will get many times your savings in the long run. An advantage here is that if your father works abroad and if he ‍stay 10 years then if you can hold bitcoins for 10 years slowly accumulating a certain amount every month you can surely get all the money your father gave you by a small investment. I agree with you.But since investing in real estate requires a lot of funds. So a person can invest in both Bitcoin and Gold if he wants. I don't think your method will work because I tried it with my parents.  in short, I see that people of the older generation like our parents still prefer safety over taking a little risk to gain high profits.  I am investing in bitcoin with my own money and have achieved results which they also see, they support what I do because it gives me good results.  but they still choose to buy gold and deposit money in the bank because it is the money they have worked hard to earn, and if they encounter risks, how will they make that money back when they get old?  don't force our parents to invest in bitcoin or anything, let them choose and have a life they are satisfied with.  if we want good things for them, why don't we use our money for them? I will say that none of these three investments are bad, each has its own special worth. You should always invest only your own money, if you invest other people’s money, it doesn’t matter whether it’s your parents’ money or credit money, then in this case there is a liability and the consequences can be very bad. Imagine if someone loses something that does not belong to them.

Any of the areas that the OP wrote about has its advantages and disadvantages, in any of them you can earn and lose money, because, among other things, the factor of the investor, his knowledge and understanding of the matter is also very important. One more important thing as you mentioned, it is not the OP's money and his persuasion or decision to invest in bitcoin was a wrong move. But before that time, even $50-80 was enough for a two or three-member family to cover up the expenses. Everything was way cheaper than it is today. If you talk about today's expense, it won't exceed the $150 limit for a member's family if he lives in the village side because most of the people live in their own houses and have firm rice and necessary vegetables. I know many family who's monthly earning was around $500 a month, and they have $30K cash in their bank. If he lives in the town side (Which I guess is not), the expenses are totally different.

Investing money in Bitcoin, personally I also agree with this, because in the future Bitcoin will most likely have very good potential. So I'm not surprised if you have such an idea. That's all I want to say and what bitcoin investors are expecting. Although to be able to make a profit we need to hold bitcoin for many years and at least 4 years, it is clear that when compared to other assets, that period is still shorter and the profit that it can bring will be much greater. That does not really mean they spend all their 400 each month. The cost of living in the village side of Bangladesh increased in the last two or three years. But before that time, even $50-80 was enough for a two or three-member family to cover up the expenses. Everything was way cheaper than it is today. If you talk about today's expense, it won't exceed the $150 limit for a member's family if he lives in the village side because most of the people live in their own houses and have firm rice and necessary vegetables. I know many family who's monthly earning was around $500 a month, and they have $30K cash in their bank. If he lives in the town side (Which I guess is not), the expenses are totally different.

Yes , all three are good assets and all have their pros and cons. If someone is rich enough, it is best to own all three to diversify assets, and diversification is a good thing to do when investing. But if we are not rich and don't have a lot of money then I think bitcoin should be the choice. And some people even consider gold not as an investment vehicle but only as an asset that can maintain its value. Gold appears to be increasing, even though in reality it is money that continues to decrease in value. And maybe even I had the same thought. This is different from land, which can be an investment asset for the future because demand will continue to increase as the human population increases. Which makes prices continue to increase. But still we cannot compare it with BTC which is in the digital asset category where the risks are quite large. If you have to compare it should be digital assets vs digital assets and physical assets vs physical assets. Only then will a fair comparison be created. But the current phenomenon does require comparing both or all three. Because there are types of investors from parents and types of investors from young people.

First of all you need to understand that you could lose your investment, is your family ok with that? And I'm not talking only about bitcoin but everything. If they understand that, then the first step is done. Well, in terms of investment, Bitcoin does have the potential for profits that are much greater than gold. However, if you can make those profits, people might think that bitcoin is better than gold. When you are trying out to convince your parents on allocating some budget when it comes to Bitcoin investment then tell them about the basics.Dont explain out with too much technical stuff so that they would really be able to understand.
