I know alot of us might have experienced this issue although there are al ot of causes actually  but I'm just here to talk about the main cause  which  probably happens most times when you experience a delayed Btc transaction.
                         Block size:
Block in btc  contains sets of transctions made by users , this transactions  depends  on each others so don't even think about cheating  it won't  work  lol. Miners gets the job done by solving the mathematical  misery behind users pending transactions to mine a block  and we all know that blocks makes up a blockchain

Now let's go back to our delayed transactions. In relation to Block size, pending transactions might has filled up a block therefore, causing  delay in your pending transaction for some time befor it get solved on the block.

Now do research on other causes, however, you can be  less worried when you  a delayed transactions  of your Sats or Btcs

If the transaction wan delay too much due to network congestion, you fit still cheat your way in, but that one go be for your own head and expense, if eh be say u don already send out your transactions before you notice say the transaction they take time more than eh suppose take, nah just for you to use wallet like blue wallet or Electrum then use the bump transaction option increase your transaction fee make eh high pass Watin eh be before doing so go make your transactions appear for front pass some way send before you, this one be like our Nigeria politicians way of doing things carry money buy your way in 😏😏😏

Use a wallet that support replace-by-fee like Electrum, Sparrow, Bluewallet et cetera. With RBF enabled, you will be able to pump the transaction fee to increase the chance of miners to include your transaction in the mempool into their candidate block.

For fee estimation, these two mempool sites are recommended:

For lower transaction, use segwit addresses and always consolidate your high input.

The previous times I don encounter the experience I just had to bump the transaction again or double spend (mk u know say e go cost you more fees ) so that my transaction go get quick confirmation bcos miners the give priority first to those transaction with higher fees for inside the blocks.

This was experienced earlier this year when Mempool was congested because of the Ordinal NFTs, those using wallet like trustwallet suffered for high transaction fee and when affected by delayed transaction they have nothing to do than to wait while those using wallet like electrum, bluewallet and other wallet having the RBF features, could bribe their ways for their transaction to be validated early by just increasing the transaction fee.

Yes, low transaction fee can be part of it, but the main reason is mempool congestion. I checked the mempool last week and I saw the mempool getting decongested down to 2 sat/vbyte and I make 2 sat/vbyte transaction and it took less than 30 minutes to 1 hour to confirm. If the mempool is not congested, low fee transactions can be confirmed.

I had an 48 hour delay once.
It was my first time I had experienced that using Electrum wallet. Usually I don't check the fee and it's corresponding priority fee on memepool.space. But when this happened, I reached out to one of our guys here. He directed me on how to bump the fee on the wallet. I did and increased the transaction fee to the highest priority corresponding with on memepool.space. I did and within 30mins I got my Bitcoin on my exchange wallet.

Like the way me too dey observe am, I also dey reason am say nah low transaction fees nai dey make crypto transaction dey very slow, I think am say as more qaue dey grand for miners to mine the coins, them go first of all attend to all the ones way their fees high before them go start to mine the ones way dey on a low fees.
Some of the exchanges, no dey do first come first serve, nah as your pay they nah so them go take attend to the person, I done experience am about twice, and nah from my first two transactions way I make with electrum, so I con think am say maybe nah so electrum wallet take dey slow when em won carry out transactions, then I con try binance e still do the same thing before I come understand am well.

Just as you talk the mempool don dey decongested. E no be like some months ago when ordinals been bombard the Bitcoin network, come make the fees dey very high. The ordinals craze don reduce and now person fit pay 2 sat/vbyte or even 1 sat/vbyte, but sometimes the dey network dey experience some congestion. I don pay 25 sat/vbyte for a transaction about 3 weeks ago. I bin set am for 15 sat/vbyte, after like one hour, no miner been pick the transaction and I no get patience to wait any longer, so I come bump the transaction.
