Q: Why this celebration post?

A: We got married in a relationship, and because of this our family didn't accept us so we are forced to live in different places , then we started looking for a job and after a few months I got fired from that job, after that, we had a child and we started looking for a source of income. And finally we became dependent on Bitcointalk.

Last few months me and my family are completely dependent on bitcointalk.org, currently my family's only source of income is bitcointalk.org, my family's entire course of living is from bitcointalk.org, If not for bitcointalk, I would not be able to For celebrate my daughter's birthday today. There are many more memories of my family associated with Bitcointalk which may not be possible to mention in this post. But we are very happy to be able to celebrate this celebration with all my family and relatives through bitcointalk.

Congratz but please delete those photos ASAP. As much as you may have blurred the faces of the adults, the children are easily identifiable.  You are exposing yourself to being identified at the same time you say you earn from bitcoin, and although from what you say what you earn you spend to live you never know who might be lurking.

I'm also not sure if this is the most appropriate section for your thread. Probably Reputation or OT is where it should go, but I'll leave that to the moderators.

Congratulations Negotiation! you are lucky men that find this forum on time. I feels very sad that you have been fired out if job and also you have no support of family. Bitcointalk is best place where you could learn much about crypto and you can easily learn the method of earning. You should not rely only on signature payment and try to hold some fund(btc) for your children. I will also recommend offline business in your area if possible so that you have number of earning ways


I have some confusion here, although OP has hidden the face of himself but still we could easily see that face of childrens so it is not against the decentralization?

OP, I checked your post history and found you are from Bangladesh. What you did was very dumb. You should immediately remove those personal photos. Showing the cake was enough. Crypto is still banned in Bangladesh. You are well aware of that. What you have done is a serious offense against your government. The higher ups can easily accuse you of doing unlawful activities and throw you to jail. You are not only risking yourself but also risking your family.

I am also from Bangladesh, brother. But I don't share my personal photos online. Nobody knows who might be tracking you. The point is, try to be as anonymous as possible. It's not wise to reveal your identity online. I am pretty much involved with Cryoto, but my relatives, my friends, my neighbors nobody knows that. I try to be as secretive as possible.

One picture of the cake would have sufficed instead of nine, and frankly being dependent on this forum for a living isn't something I would celebrate.  On top of that you might be asking for trouble depending on exactly how illegal bitcoin is in Bangladesh, i.e., how hard the authorities go after people for using it.

And what would happen if bitcointalk suddenly had to get rid of all signature campaigns?  What would you do in that case?  I also wonder how many accounts you've got making money for you.

Congratulations op, as you have been advised, do well to delete those photos. Your celebration will not land you in another problem after loosing your job. To make yourselves known with current ban of crypto in your country might make it worse. I believe same pictures where posted on social media , seen this pictures and the ones on social media is easy to know it is same person. There maybe some government officials who are also members of this forum.

AFAIK, the government is quite strict about crypto in Bangladesh. That's why they won't allow it. But still, a lot of Bangladeshis are using or are involved with crypto. Some of them are totally dependent on crypto, with no alternative source of income.

You will be surprised to hear what happened recently. There was news of a police officer checking a traveler's personal phone on a public bus. To check, what does he do? What party does he support? What news does he share on social media? This happened, probably because of the upcoming election. Can you realize where the law and privacy are in our country?

People who are using crypto are always afraid of being exposed by the government. Me too. That's why I use another phone to separate my activities so that no one can connect me with crypto.

If I ever see that signature campaigns are stopped or I'm dropped, I'll be desperate and have to find another way to make an income. Which must be a hard reality for me to face. But pray for me that this does not happen to me.

Op, you should learn a few things here, first of all Satoshi and theymos established this forum originally to discuss on how to develop and grow the system, any earning through signature, bounty etc was a by-product of that.

However theymos did everything in his power to help people, he is the one you should thank, Satoshi is just a gold hoarding dragon sleeping on his stash to keep them safe. Lol
Second, most of the people, especially DT members are racist, they are also on the look out to tag anyone and anything they don't like, so by creating such topics you just dropped some blood into the water and sharks will investigate to find something and get rid of you.

I don't know where you are from and I don't care. Are you going to say that your six red tags are due to racism? In the end it's a wild card you can use to defend yourself against anything. Isn't normal for people to look someone account that want to get attention? especially he create a thread in section where it's full of merit sources or DT members. If @OP didn't make any mistake, he will not receive negative feedback. Leaving someone a negative feedback because of personal feeling isn't appropriate.

I also thought of this as well, although the first post is filled with birthday cake which to me it make looks messed up rather just like one or two could have been more better. And again if op decides not to make his earning too obvious to the public or to people around him nobody would noticed he is earning from bitcointalk.org or his government won't track him down to sanction him for earning bitcoin, most time we that actually exposed ourselves for something our government won't eyes into. Please try to hide yourself a bit without making it too showy or to people's understand that you are earning bitcoin, otherwise might attracts evil eyes on you.

I stood in amazement at several things in this thread. You are overly enthusiastic and I wish your family and children success, but relying on the forum will be very dangerous. Signature campaigns may stop at any time, or you may be removed from the signature campaign or for any reason. Posting here should be a bonus.

OP, Thanks for sharing your thoughts here. It's a celebration of your daughter's birthday, not only yours only but also the whole Bitcointalk Community. I'm very happy to see this topic here, but why do you share your family picture here? Don't know the safety of your own personality? You know Bitcoin is officially banned from your Country. For that anytime you can face any issues from the government. Please safe your children, safe your family.

Happy birthday to your baby, and I wish you more celebrations in your life in the coming days. It's really nice that you are able to do something with your earnings from Bitcoin Talk, which you now rely on for survival, especially when you lost your job and your family turned you down. Indeed, BitcoinTalk has really helped your life.
 
But just so you know, just as other jobs that you had in the past happen to end half way, it's also a good sign that you should not put all your hope on one particular thing. It happens that it can lead to disappointment when we over-depend on something. Campaigns can end anytime (not that I am praying for that to happen in any way), but nothing really lasts for ever, and sometimes too, the project can also decide to slide down their number of participants or even reduce pay, which in any way might affect you.
 
So my advice, aside from your signature earnings, is that I will like you to get something attached to that so as to help make your life a bit easier. Having multiple sources of income really helps a lot, as it will make you not get disappointed over any little change that happens in one of your work areas.
 
Just as others have advised, I will also join the motion of you reducing the number of cake pictures that you have added to the thread; it's making the thread long and occupying a lot of space.

Happy Birthday and all the best wishes, but I want to warn (again and again) on the risks of bitcointalk as sole or main income.
I can guess that the situation / living in Bangladesh is probably not great, and having a little child makes everything more busy, but try to allow yourself the time and energy to develop yourself and to also get a good enough day job sooner or later, allowing yourself the "luxury" to not see the end of a signature campaign as "end of the world", for example.

If you were single, you could have 10 days worth of food with only 10-15$. And about rent, it's around 3000-5000 bdt = 30-50$ +- per month, depending on where you live.

I used to live alone, my rent was 1000-1200bdt which is around 10-12$. Food bill would take 2500bdt meaning 25$ (monthly). I think you realize how expensive dollar is in Bangladesh.

There numbers were my own expenses. Of course, if you wanna have luxury, eat at five star hotels, things would have been different. I wasn't taking about the rich, I was only showing, what it would cost for a common person.

I don't know if he meant 100-120$ per week or month.

AFAIK that the Bitcointalk.org forum becomes a space to make money with a signature campaign and other campaigns that can help get additional income.
If someone asks income from the forum is enough to support the needs of one family. What is your answer.

I got the first bitcoin because of the forum and I was very happy. Bitcoin that I got is still stored without me the slightest touch.
Happy that I feel there is one question, what if the forum admin does not extend the domain or whatever its type that makes people unable to continue the forum activities.
Not about what if the signature campaign is deleted like The Spectical Chymist question.
