I do not think that this one is the one known as Binance-Peg BTCB Token (BTCB) since the Binance-Peg BTCB Token (BTCB) token contract is 0x7130d2A12B9BCbFAe4f2634d864A1Ee1Ce3Ead9c  while the BTC sent to your BEP20 address is 0x63af599cd4837e56526f3C2C57dF5251a80715b2  which has 50,000,000,000 supply

So I guess you received spam token more or less.

If you wanted to access the sent BEP20 BTC, and has the address on your metamask, you can add the token by simply following the this instruction: https://www.coingecko.com/learn/how-to-add-binance-smart-chain-bsc-to-metamask, if that is a spam token used to hijack bep20 address, be mindful that accessing its website may incur losses of your fund.

Hi
Is it possible to receive Bitcoin on BNB?

I received the transaction and I have checked the TX on a number of Blockchain sites and it appears to be a genuine Transaction Hash but I am unable to access the BTC coins, I am assuming that is because it is on the wrong network.

I am not that experienced with Crypto, hence why I am on this Forum.

Is there a way of checking if the transaction is real other than the Transaction Hash.

It shows on Bitcoinchair, BscScan, OKX.com,BSC Trace but not on other Blockchain sites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTC can be found on Bep20 platform but as AltCoin on Peg platform. But there should not be stagnation and the possibility of loss to the holders will be very high. Transactions here are very low on fees. Many people here make the mistake of investing in new situations, even though newbies don't have the ability to judge (less) so should invest with due diligence. Although they look similar to Bitcoin, they are not actually Bitcoins, they are better known as Altcoins.

Move quickly to Bitcoin for safety. Because other Altcoin genres are more likely to be scammed.  Use Bitcoin to be successful.

Hi
Is it possible to receive Bitcoin on BNB?

Yes, they do and not only Binance smart chain, you can receive them on any other blockchain that support it. I think Tron chain support it, ethereum support it, Solana support it and even Matic chain support bitcoin. However, they are not native bitcoin, they are tokens mint on chains to mimic the characteristics or bitcoin and they are redeemable to real bitcoin, for every mint toke of btc on the chain, there is equivalent real bitcoin locked on the protocol where the coin can be convert between the real bitcoin and the btc token(fake bitcoin).

You have been scammed and that's it.

Here is your transaction from the hash link u drop from your transaction: https://bscscan.com/tx/0xef022155a737d8c4bfd8849d83eadbf9ddeeea8edf8da1b2389f66f1d94f0f27
It appears that you think you are receiving bitcoin from another chain but then again, you ended up with the wrong one because the smart contract is fake, that's not the approved smart chain on the bsc chain.
Look at the transaction screenshot. That'd a fake bitcoin

This is the fake bsc20 bitcoin you receive.

Now this is the real bitcoin you were supposed to receive, you can see that it's even verified with a badge, you can see it clearly from bsc scan.

I'm sorry to say but you have been scammed.

Just checked this is not Bitcoin from the Binance Version, Total Transfer is 570 with a holder of 300 addresses this is definitely a scam token. Beware dont approve any contract with this token.

I would had prefers you started your statement with a NO because you can't receive Bitcoin on those other Blockchain so newbie reading your reply don't misunderstand it. Just as you later said what they're receiving isn't Bitcoin. Anything that isn't sent on the Bitcoin blockchain isn't Bitcoin but a tokenized version of Bitcoin on whatever Blockchain they're operating on. I don't support using this tokens because they're inflating the supply of Bitcoin as there's no way to verify if they're really backed by a real Bitcoin. Binance or other exchange can just come up with a token called Bitcoin with any supply and be trading it on their exchange but there's no proof that they hold that same nnumber of real Bitcoin so we shouldn't believe them. Beside those tokenizing Bitcoin are looking for activities on their blockchain to help promote it and it does no benefits to the main Bitcoin.

This is why we shouldn't be dealing with anything called Bitcoin that isn't on the Bitcoin blockchain, scammers can name any token Bitcoin and use them in defraud their victim as they have done to this user. This should serve as a warning, don't even accept to deal them as they can stopped been pegged to Bitcoin at any moment but the real Bitcoin will always be Bitcoin. If you're transacting with those pegged/tokenized Bitcoin just know you're not operating with the real Bitcoin but an altcoin so you'll be expectant of anything that happens.

Yes, nowadays there are a lot of wrapped versions of Bitcoin in any chain that are EVM compatible. Sometimes other Defi App creating their own version of wrapped version of bitcoin for staking and farming.

But like you said it is carrying high risk, If you guys remembered the tera luna collapse I think this could happen when they creating of wrapped version of bitcoin
