There is no crystal ball unfortunately to tell us which is the right alts to buy and hold for the upcoming bull season.
Be aware that alts investment is risky although in the bull period you can easily get a quick return of investment within a short period. My advice is to be observant of newly launched project, also put some gamefi and defi on your watch list, those with very low mcap but have good potential.

I don't know dude, it seems a little strange to ask for financial advice from random people on the internet. I'll tell you a little about my strategy a few years ago to make a lot of money from alt coins. First I usually choose the top 20 altcoins on CMC, then I choose 5 of them, why 5 because I'm afraid, like the case of Luna and FTX, if you go all in on one altcoin and one of the altcoins is a scam, your money will run out, if you save it in 5 places you will only lose 1 portfolio out of 5. I think you should have a deep dive in crypto and make sure you understand what you are doing.

Manage your risk. If you want to become rich, look for gems plan accordingly but don't go all in one shitcoin. Diversify, play different narratives.

Talking about the best altcoin to invest, it's Always hard to predict altcoin with good potential. Because the market is full of rugpull, junk, pump and dump. except for etherium, BNB, lite coin, etc which over the years has been proven to be good.

Ethereum/Bitcoin might be the safest bet.

Maybe also other larger caps, over the past few years a lot of large caps lost a lot of momentum and couldn't keep up with the pace.

it's always difficult to say what altcoin to buy. It depends on your risk appetite, risk management, time you want to spent on crypto, etc...

For me the best play is always to inject capital in new shiny coins and play narratives. I got a few high conviction bets I make with a % of the capital I inject.

and then rotate my wins from the small caps to large caps, like BTC;ETH;SOL.

Depending on my conviction on the small caps and delivering from the Team I might rotate some small % into these aswell.

Many people have become very rich holding all these coins. I can see that this post dates back to October, and here we are with some bullish movements that happened mainly from October to this moment. But still, do not get yourself carried away with new coins, just be careful so that you will not buy a fake project or be scammed. You might want to stick to the ones that are performing till today. You can check through the coinmarketcap.com. But you get to select those that still have a low market capitalization, but nevertheless, performed well during the recent bull run. By this, you can't make a wrong judgement in selecting properly. Also, you can add the more-capitalized ones like SOL, AVAX, ADA, DOT and some others of your choice as they will still perform excellently.

The Crypto market is full with lots of bad projects that is tagging the industry bad with frequent negativities.
