Those that are ready to take risks and lose there funds if they miss track are the ones that are making it in the crypto market. Many whales we see today must have invested their funds in altcoins why some give them profits and others might end up taking there capital away. The market is not easy to analyse especially for altcoins projects. One need to be ready to go extra miles to make more profits from the market without doing scam.

This is the absolute truth because predicting the coin that can make the OP rich out of the numerous and plenty coins is like chasing a shadow and couple with the fact that some of those coin would later be dumped by their developers, personally I would choose the major and credible coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB etc though investing in them wouldn't make the OP to become rich nevertheless the profit that is likely to be earn in a long term investment would worth it with the upcoming halving of Bitcoin in 2024 definitely a lot of cryptocurrencies thrive and would pump, however the major or highest gainer among them would definitely be Bitcoin.

No one knows that especially when it comes to altcoin because there isn't any pattern since it's not like bitcoin which can give multiple returns and often the rise of altcoin happens post Bitcoin's bullrun, so it's better to not experiment with altcoin at this stage because the so-called experts predicting in Twitter, Youtube & Telegram literally has zero knowledge and just predict based on current market trend and their end goal is to sell their channel membership but there are some who suggest good indicators to use, I would suggest hodling onto bitcoin until the price pumps and gets stable as once the Bitcoin's price pumps and stabilizes that's when altcoin's value starts pumping.

I would personally stick to Bitcoin primarily and I feel the value of BNB is going to increase as well because Binance is running a lot of activities which increases the demand of BNB and slows down the selling ratio of BNB and ETH is a must when you think of Altcoin investment.

Whatever  altcoin you wish to invest in, you should do your feasibility studies about that coin, try to understand the potential that comes with it, and also try to know how sustainable it can be for a long time, before making your investment and even try to make an investment within your economic ability. No specific altcoins can be Made for recommendation but I think it's better to go off the market with more investment on different altcoins since the bull season is close by and I believe most altcoin also move with the trend of Bitcoin movement during the bull season which is steady pump but although you need to be watchful on the coins you purchased in your portfolio because some of these altcoins can be really funny and you can see a steady decline even during the bull market. I think it's better to spread out your investment so that you will have more chances of getting something off your investment.

bitcoin is indeed a good investment but honestly with small capital we could never get that much profit, just imagine buying at $30k and bitcoin rise to $40k, its just really small increase if someone have quite low capital not even worth holding thats why many are seeking for altcoin to invest hoping they could turn their small money into some big ones and then accumulate bitcoin after wards.
I think its fair enough reason for most people despite the fact that some altcoin might just be really bad investment.
but one thing for sure though altcoin when altcoin season arriving which usually after bullrun will also rise, but only fundamentally good altcoin like ethereum and similar.

Bitcoin halving doesn't really have any significance in bullrun, we just only witnessed those two huge pumps from the past halving because it has became a hype for everyone in crypto space. Now, you should always think and be ready of the possibility for the next halving not being the same as the earlier ones.
If you're aiming to become rich by putting your money to an altcoin, then I'm afraid that altcoin is difficult to find. Not unless if you have a a massive capital and you decided to put it on the top alts in the market which has higher probability of pumping along with bitcoin during bull season than the rest in the market. But if you only have a low capital and looking to get rich in crypto, you'll need more digging than just asking people around here.

Without a doubt your argument makes sense, but a great deal of those that look to invest in altcoins are only thinking about the profits they can get and they ignore completely the associated risks they are taking, so they simply assume they can invest in an altcoin and make a massive amount of money, something we both know is very unlikely to happen and in which losing money is way more likely, and when compared to that outcome I think the small profits those people may get with bitcoin are good enough, as even if they are not very impressive for those investing a small amount of money, earning money is better than to lose it.

Entering into the cryptocurrency space I had no one to look up to or depend on for suggestions and recommendations on projects to invest in, I had to painstakingly do the little research and study I can do on my own at that time, going on I met with someone who today is a close friend that told me about the bitcointalk forum through which I have been able to gather informations from people's posts and discussions adding to my own study before investing into anything crypto project.
