A lot young now are mostly influenced by what they see, hear and peer pressure, without having knowledge of it. In life all fingers are equal, the destiny of everyone varies in different ways some have been destined to make money quickly in their very early stages in life. Life is step by step, you pass different processes. Take the right steps, stay focused and don't give up even if you fail  keep pushing.
Scammers are much now, because most people don't want to work or have patience or endurance rather looking for shortcuts to wealth, quick money and riches. That's why most young people are indulging on internet fraud, cyber crimes, rituals, robbery etc.

The governments, have important roles to play in every society by providing conducive environment for its citizens to thrive and they have failed in doing so. But that is not an excuse for any one to indulge in negative acts because of attaining money quickly.

People should understand life, that it's not competition. The corruption is what is killing Nigeria, and the level of corruption is getting higher in each and every regime, which is why things are getting worse in Nigeria every day, which is why the rate of scammers in the country is increasing. Let's just say we have a good government with a small percentage of corruption; even our economy will be better, and the younger generation will be getting a place where they will be fixed and also earning some certain amount of money, even if it is not that much, because of the bad government. That is why jobs are very scarce in the country because even those who are supposed to retire and others who are fresh graduates to get the opportunity don't want to retire because of the money they are seeing embezzling.
 
As there are no job opportunities in the country for graduates after they finish their degrees, what do we expect them to do? Many of them will definitely join any available activities that will allow them to earn money to feed themselves. Many of these scammers in Nigeria do not have alternatives where they will earn money to feed themselves. That is why they joined illegal activities like scammers, thieves, kidnapping, and so on. I don't think 80% of Nigerian youth will be ready for all this illegal work that always puts them at risk if there are other legal ways of earning. With the rate at which scammers are increasing in Nigeria, the Nigerian government should bear 75% of the blame.

In such scenario, for me, I will say that the blame ratio is 50/50, that is government is to be blame for not providing employment even when there are lots of vacant spaces, while secondly, the people are to be blame for failing to learn valuable digital skills in this era, capable to help them earn decent money online. Hence, this issue of quick money wahala boils down to lack of good money-making updates, because when a person lacks updates about how to earn legit money online, he/she falls easily to scams.

If governments was doing well for it citizens the level at which people do criminal activities I don't think we will at this point where we found ourselves today . This quick money we all see is lack of what to do which will may even call hard work in the past. Even the hard work is not available, example have you been to construction site in search of labourer job and see if you will be given a chance, ordinary to serve brick layer or Mendon is not available. Before before, our fathers believe in the system and e been dey actually dey work for them, the system that time na, make sure say you go school, get good grades, and graduate with those good grades and then you go land yourself better job, and honestly that time, e been dey actually dey work for them, but now, the system don turn another thing, now we get so many unemployed graduates. Those office you go to without seeing staffs, there are people collecting salary monthly for those vacant positions. They are called ghost workers.  Most times they are relatives to the managers, their friends, friends of influential men who are too old to come to work or are not fit for official duty and so on. When salary comes, the managers have their percentage from the salaries paid to these ghost workers. The vacancy is only physical and not in the pay roll. The government is not to blame alone, although everything stems from their poor organization of the country,  corruption and favoritism is everywhere in the grassroot.
Take for example in the civil service, those that retires replaced themselves with their relatives, thereby leaving no employment space for fresh graduates.
Everybody contributes to this mess as its evident in our daily activities, but I still believe that the situation is redeemable, but the governing system needs a serious restructure.

We need good economy and good standard of living, but our government can not give us that because they themselves do not understand how they can, which makes them not to be good leaders. For example subsidy was removed so that every state allocation will increase and the major reason why Tinubu removed subsidy he wanted the salaries of all civil servants, workers, salaries to be increased but rather state governors has refused to increase workers salaries, like my state allocation use to fluctuate sometimes 32bn or 33bn but nothing to show. If government fail to help u, u can help your self by looking for wat to do to help yourself than to look for quick quick money for wrong place, which can lead u to prison if u disobey d law of d land because there are many young guys dis days tuning themselves to fraudster.
