Binance is facing investigations and legal cases. If the exchange crushed, BNB will immediately follow.

BNB on the other hand has it's best trading platform with it's smartchain technology it also has the cheapest fee on it's platform. So I think this two really is good for long term hodling.

It's really wort to be hold, as you know more and more project/game are moving from other ecosystem like (ETH/BSC) to Polygon. As you know, the transition chain we all know
- BTC to ETH
- ETH to BSC
- Now ? BSC to Polygon

I think (Polygon) are gonna to get a good movement for the next few yers.

I don't have confidence yet with Polygon but it was on my list. But for now, my interest is still in the leading altcoins ETH and BNB. However, it was to know that the market often changes from time to time. Might have seen Polygon's potential in the coming days but can be possible that there is another project showing a skyrocket moment as well.

I won't say until forever I'm investing ETH, but of course, it can be changed depending on the situation. While the halving and bull season was coming, it was safe to choose those coins that had already been performing well - that was our assurance.

I believe will saw the new shift of many altcoins price that made the green light to remain stable in some days to make some altcoins hodlers to make a new decision to apply for potential altcoins that will make their profits surplus when the real bull run show up in the market soon. Good decision. Just recently Ethereum also went up by $300 and I think it will easily be pulled by Bitcoin whenever it goes up. Binance coin is a no-brainer, the demand for that coin is continuous as it is used in different kinds of projects especially those NFT and games all over the cryptocurrency industry. Of course, it doesn't stop there, the main purpose of BNB is the cheaper way to trade so many traders using Binance are also buying it. And then there's the gambling part, many gamblers also pick BNB as their main coin for betting and it's because of the cheaper way of getting in and out, deposits, and withdrawals.
Ethereum on the other hand won't be lacking any supporters, there's always investors who will want to buy the top altcoin in the market.

The right and good choice, because ETH and BNB are the best coins after Bitcoin and both are the most dominant altcoins and are also very safe to invest in because they always follow Bitcoin's movements.
Do both for the long term to earn good profits, ETH and BNB besides Bitcoin are one of the most frequently chosen alternatives by old investors as well as most people here because of their track record and experience. BTC is my favorite coin I have addicted for long hodling, but I feel like adding two altcoins to long hodling that made me to carry out research to discovered that those two altcoins are among the top altcoins in the market that can help me to achieve my target in the future.  You know that any hodling that is above 6 months is a long hodling, but I feel like hodling altcoins like 2 years before I can sell to make a good profits which I believe ETH and BNB can help me to earn such profits before the end of the 2 years.

Why polygon though? Abritrum is L2 directly connected to Ethereum, it doesn't need any other token then eth to work. Adding a side chain with their own token like matic is too confusing for adoption imho.
I am not saying ARB token would be a better investment, as the voting could end up being a double edged sword. People will vote value before utility. Needless burnings and airdrops. But the tech just way easier to use then trying to make newbs understand what they are even doing with the sidechain.

It seems to me that the era of bnb will soon be over, or rather the coin will continue to work, but will not have much value. Binance does have problems that will only get worse as time goes on. This exchange has been around for a long time as it is.

If they manage to survive with those issues that they've got from the legal side and if there are more development that the team will be offering, it's still one of those good coin to hold if you have decent amount of money to spare with this investment, it's just needed to work with your research and make a good understanding with how you place your money in whatever coin/project that you will going to invest in.

I am not entirely sure if it's good or not, but I do like BNB during this period. I get that some people may not feel the same way and they think that this whole USA thing could make them do a lot worse and the fact that Paxos stopped working with them and they are losing BUSD and all of this could result with the situation being a little different. But I disagree, I think their biggest power is their exchange, and not the American version, I mean the real one with .com ending, and that is still going very strong.

I think the whole globe minus USA would still be great for them and they could make more money. That is just how rich Binance could be, we are also talking about BNB, and considering the bull run is coming and the price is going up, I think new tokens will come out and with ETH having 2.0 tested for the first time ever, I think it's going to be quite easy to see how BNB would be the preferred one and BSC will be used a lot more and price could go up.

BNB has now developed into something else. Before it was just a simple native coin of Binance the exchange but then Binance has started copying a lot of innovations and they even offered their own smart contracts for developers to start their own crypto project on the Binance network. They also offered their own platform to launch these projects. But all these other functions are much less significant compared to BNB being the coin of Binance exchange. So I don't expect that it would grow totally independent of it. And yes attacks on the exchange mean attack on the coin.

This is a big claim. I would like to inquire as to the particular altcoins that you are holding. You said that you are already up 80% from your initial investment just a few months ago. How many months is a few months? At 80%, it has almost doubled its value. That's a big growth.

Congratulations for picking the right ones, but I have doubts. I would like to know which altcoins you are referring to because I myself have a few altcoins and rather than increasing 80% in value they have decreased.

I as well will not recommend altcoin in terms of long term hodling. Except from the top altcoins, I don't have much trust on some the altcoins in the market since there could be a lot of circumstances for your asset to be lost, a lot more than holding bitcoin. It's either you'll get your guard down and lost it from scammers or the exchange or the platform got compromised.
I'd be more comfortable with bitcoin than any other alts in the market. I'll give an exemption with ETH though.

As an investor we aren't meant to store funds in exchange or being much thrilled with any platform that will consumed our fund which we invested, as a good and experience investor we should be smarter enough to detects any fowl play within any platform. The most important thing is to get a safe custodial wallet were you can entrust your funds without having any fear to lost your asset, that is why I am more comfortable with bitcoin investment rather than altcoin but in most cases there are some other altcoin like ETH, LTC, BNB and Matic.
