My friend previously stated that they have a group where whales will pump a coin when they invest. They were earning a little money at first, but as time passed, it vanished. I'm just wondering if this group is legitimate because we can predict when the market will spike. For me, whales are a waste of time because they earn so little for those guys. As a result, those pump and dump groups could be false.

most of these groups are just screwing those naive members who will join their group. the owners are the ones who are really benefiting from this endeavour. much better to learn on your own and experience those tricks that you can do in trading.
i have tried joining one of these a long way back to see what's going on with this kind of channel. you will get the idea that these owners are setting up the channel as a trap.

How can you fully trust any signal given to you by any group or channel? You might be able to profit from it once, but is there any guarantee that you will be able to profit from it again the second time? Panic investing on a trading signal based on blind faith without any verification is risky and most foolish. You might be able to get some profit from here for a short period of time. But it can be said that it will destroy you.So without being dependent on them, it is wise to learn about trading yourself, analyze it well, and then invest. Then it will give you a long term profit and you will have a nice trading  skill

You are right, but beginners will never stop trapping because these groups will initially provide guaranteed profits as a trick so that new members believe and dare to get involved with bigger money so that when their target is achieved then the owner with several VIP members start the action by first buying the coins that are targeted to be pumped, in this world there are always people who want to make money easily so they think that being in groups like that is a guarantee of income so their trading is not based on analysis but because of orders or signals from the pump and dump group.

This trick is common to these group and they really target those newbie because those people doesn't know if the offer given to them is true or not, so for them to get knowledgeable regarding on this schemes its better that we warn those newbies about the potential risk of believing on those group so they get aware that this kind of group is not really true and they are for scamming only. Availing VIP status in their group doesn't really be a smart choice since their prediction might still fail and worse they abandon those people after they get what they want from those newbies.

So much better for people who want to start their career as a trader to learn it for theirselves and exert some efforts to do a research so they became skilled then earn a lot of profits from their personal trades made.

They are not whales but an opportunist who are taking advantage on those who are still not aware about the market.
Pump and dump group are too risky if you are not that good in trading because you tend to follow their suggestion without even doing your own analysis.
You might find a good group at first but don't over confident because it can turn into a scam group later on and that can put you at a bigger risk. I don't follow any signal group because I analyze on my own and for me, this is more effective.

Yes, this is not to generalize but some of the pump groups or channel have their own hidden agendas. Most likely, their goal is to really not help us traders but use us traders for them to generate money from us. But if you really want to join or seek advice from pump groups, I think it's better to find people whom you really trust and make sure that they don't take advantage of you. I have also joined a community before where experience and expert traders who are known in the community are making advice and suggestions, and I must say that they're of a great help for me, especially at that time when I was just starting and exploring trading. But I would consider myself lucky because I stumbled across those trusted people. But not everyone has the same fate as me, because most of the beginner traders are being taken advantage of these people. Afterall, the best advice that you can get is to only trust on yourself and to never rely on other people especially in trading. You can seek for help, but never let them decide for you.

It's a scam I can share numerous telegram groups like that and they already buy some alts at lesser price as whales are part of it and manage to pool in thousands of users making the same promise which they made to you and asks users to enter the buy at certain time and just before that they manage to buy a huge chunk which triggers upward trend and once the users also starts buying it keeps the market floating at same price for few mins and they then short it and sell off everything at bulk and they boast that their prediction was true and shares the snap of temporary pump market gets because of their manipulation and users buying in. op never mind i think its a fraud trap you should not step into this trap its likely to hurt you. One thing to keep in mind if their currency is going up in price then why would they ask others to join their group to buy their currency. This is only common people who have that much sense in their heads will understand that this is a trick trap only those who step into this trap will be in danger. If you want to invest here I suggest you stay away from them.

What could we take from this post? Are you explaining something, or you are advertising some group or what? However, I didn't believe in groups that are saying they give an actual signal, and due to their signals coins are pumped high and some are dumped as well. So, all this stuff is better to listen to but not good to believe as recently I can say that I had almost made $1k but not even following a signal of a group, do I think that I have been a better trader? But no these all things are according the the way a person wants to go through it.

These things usually make a trader lazy, for example, if he joins some signals group and he sees in the group when the price will pump he will buy and he was waiting for it for the whole day. In this way, he will not follow its strategies and he will be waiting every day for it to see the signals so I think it is not good at all.

What you are saying is true but I don't think this has been done by any pump group. Instead some people or you can say a group create copy copycat project, do paid promotion, conduct token sales in exchange like Gate or Probit,  and list their projects in those exchanges. Later they slowly sell off their team tokens. Most of these projects are copycat projects that have just launched in different chains or under different names. There are a few people in the industry who are doing this kind of scamming. These scammers are also taking risk as they spend a good amount of money on promotion, marketing and listing. Their bet is to have a successful token sale which is why they target conducting their token sale in a mid-tier exchange that has a massive user base and doesn't care much about project vision.

If there are pump groups that are helping you out and are making you profitable, do not easily trust them because what you see and experience is part of their plan. In order for them to look legit and reliable, they should impress their customers first until they become too trusting and eventually bite their offers every now and then. There is two things involved in this your thread. It's either you are shilling and stylishly advertising the group chat or you are just another victim that has already lose your money because of the group or about lose all the money under you. Whether you are the owner of the group or just a random user who don't understand trading, you will not gain anything from using signal groups.

In addition, whether it's free or paid version, you will not gain anything as profit because after sometime, you will lose interest that you have not gain as you think or were promised. You will also not learn anything about trade because you are depending on trade calls that you will not even understand support and resistance. Better learn to understand and trade with your IQ.

This is the most simple and direct argument against signals, no one is ever able to answer why any trader which could generate signals which could make them money will sell those signals to someone else in exchange for a small amount of money? This is a similar argument to the one used against all of those methods that promise a person to make money online, and yet for some reason when it comes to trading it is as if people forget about it and they believe someone will be that generous to share their signals to them for cheap.

I joined a different channel in Telegram most likely not on Discord, it's quite annoying in Discord than Telegram, well still vulnerable with those platforms, back on the groups until now I joined to those groups and they keep sharing information with each other but not in Bitcoin most of the time altcoins and giving different signals also referal links related to the free money they are talking about. In my side, i don't trust those anymore after i committed my self to the bitcoin community. For me its much reliable here than those i joined before. You can still get an info if for the risk trades of alts if you want but make sure you have a knowledge to the thing you want to invest with.
