I think it's a troll account, like almost all the newbies popping up in this section, request is unclear :  0.031 BTC are worth around 1065 $ but they ask alternatively for 0.031 or 1650 USDT ( that doesn't make much sense imo); also repayment 18 LTC or BTC equivalent should be more clear : BTC equivalent at the time of loan or repayment one?

Let see if they are serious with their loan request or will never post again here

there may be slight confusion as the post is not well written, i am asking for 0.031 btc which stands at $1668 AUD at the time of this post, offering collateral of 1150 usdt which currently sits at $1807 AUD, sorry for the confusion on this post.

In no way am i trying to replicate or mimic you, in fact as of the time of this original post this has been my first time back on this forum in a couple of months.

Even if you make this mistake, the collateral remains in low % compared with the loan amount that you ask. You want BTC, so your collateral must be at least 120% higher based on the BTC that you want and not based on their value or the fiat currency that you will sell/ trade the BTC. There is a difference...

Why not just sell the collateral you have, for the BTC you need? I mean, it's just USDT. It isn't going to change any value that much. If it was the other way round, it would make some sense, since some people don't like selling off their BTC with the feeling that the price might go up after a while.

Again a baseless hypothesis : he currently owes me the loan, we are in constant communication and I would have no problem giving him an extension if he asked me and he knows that.

Being that said let's think together for a moment with a cool head : do you really think ,knowing he would be granted an extension by just asking, he would chose the alternative way of using an account he created four months in advance using basically pretty much the same username except for 2 consonants and writing a poorly structured loan request ?

Not to mention that this loan request mentions AUD while HedgeFx is from an European country, then mention BTC , LTC , USDT without explaining which blockhain.

Basically nothing matches beside the username.

This is a false statement: if you check here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5469148.0 you can see by yourself the established deadline was October 31 that he respected; dunno if you said he didn't because of different timezones ( don't know where you live), but he respected agreed deadline in my ( and his) timezone by 8 hours or so.
 Also he respected all the deadlines of all the loans I gave him ( that I invite you to doublecheck), that are at least 5 or 6. Moreover, several times he repaid me in advance.
