Agree. The ability to decide and make their own judgement shouldn't be taken away from them. Gambling knows no age, except of course if you are underage. As long as you can afford to make a bet and play, you can do so. There's no age limit in gambling. If you want to play on your retirement age, it's fine. Just make sure though that you are financially secured so you won't be a burden to other people. That way, you can still sustain yourself and your gambling habits. Although I agree with your views on personal freedom and gaming without age limits, I believe it is important to think about the many effects. Regardless of age, making smart choices is required. Sure financial education is very important to our gambling habit irrespective of age. There is no age limit to being educated and to be financially prudent. To gamble irresponsibly is an inimical act that can take someone backward. For me quilting has never been something that I consider for now and that is because,  I am still enjoying gambling and for such I think will still keep myself entertained throughout old age and so such, I may not have any specific time frame to say that is the age I quit gambling and since I also gamble just for the fun,  I don't think my gambling habit will become a burden for me in the future when I am old.

I agree with you, gambling shouldn't b affiliated with age for age is just a number and retirement from gambling should depend on the individual's disposition with respect to gamble. Large number of old people that gamble is mainly to not stay bored as they as always left to stay alone at home when everyone has gone for work.
