With the rise in the usage of AI, it's definitely not a surprise to see it being used as a tool to scam people and make life easier for scammers. It's important to know that if you have something to be gotten for free, it should be within reason or else it's a scam. It is harder to prove now but it's still at the user's discretion.

If it's too good to be true, it is. That can be a guideline for everyone. It's important to let others know that rule.

I think so, the problem with these scams is that they are based on the law of large numbers: they only need a small percentage of unwary people to take the bait for it to be profitable. And there are always those who are clueless, greedy, etc., and fall for the scam. Logically, scammers are now using AI leverage, taking advantage of the technological tools at their disposal to achieve greater success, so you need to be more aware than ever.

Scammers now taking advantage of technology but if those greedy people will be cautious on what they are joining for sure they will never get scam by this since imagine that the word posted is a giveaway and they should never put any amount for that. If those people ask some fees for higher chances to get some huge money in return to them then this should be a shady practice which they need to avoid. But unfortunately many fall in this schemes because they failed to determine so early that what they are trying to participate is just a pure scam and they are late to realize that they became a victim of it once they already lost their money.

People just need to be aware that scammers always do anything just to deceive them so they should never fall on anything like asking money for a big profit returns since most likely this is just another scam in the making.

I think every newbie have almost the same mindset,  most newbies who are new to crypto thinks it is opportunity they can make money very quickly and this is a strategy scamners think they will be able to use to get newbies. Crypto giveaway scams aren't anything new nowadays. As you mentioned "Twitter" AKA "X", I'll tell you something that I was facing. Almost everyday I would get several notifications from twitter about giveaway. A is giving away 100BNB, B is giving away 5000USD etc. In every tweets they would ask for crypto address for the giveaways. Thousands of thousands of addresses are retweeted everyday. I don't know how they use those or how they targets their victim. I'm almost sure that, they are part of a scammer group.

I would have given the profile links, but unfortunately I deleted my twitter of today. Don't wanna use anymore. Have any of you noticed similar notification from twitter?

With the festive seasons coming in for most of the world, Halloween, Christmas and New year, people are at dearth of money in pockets added to it the number of sales that come in like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we are bound to see more people fall for such scams.

I guess the use of machine learning and social media is a good method to cook up such scam posts and spam them. Eventually we as humans need to use our brains to assess whether a post is a giveaway scam or not. Nothing comes in this world for free, so be alert.

Just mid be this month, scammers came up with the Isreal/Palestinian war to scam people.  They take advantage of situations and happenings around the world to get at unsuspecting individuals who have no knowledge about their tricks and gimmicks.  Currently, scams are to much that one can not differentiate the fake from the original. It only takes knowledge and proper research to know if such is a potential scam and only those who take their time to do the findings can reveal the truth and expose such scam but people who do not think about it just fall victim of these scams and their funds gone.

Every one needs be careful this season because as it stands now scams are now beginning to look real if one does not do their own research properly. As agreed because there are a lot of fake emails I have received, some months ago I had received some fake emails through the spam emails but now I don't know if the fake emails come through my primary page as well. I don't know how they are doing this, is my Email having a problem or they are using something else?

Hmm, such scams are really not new to the industry. I can remember there was a livestream doubler scam in which many newbies lost their funds just out of greed. At the same time most of the time, the popular Twitter handles are hacked to trap the greedy audience.

Simply what I want to say is that in every scam they use your emotions as a weapon, so learn to control your emotions and do proper research on why they are offering you such things, is there is marketing motto or just a lame giveaway trap to just obtain your useful data/funds.

True but it's sad at the same time that newbies are also going to fall for this even if they're not greedy. Being innocent and thinking that these are legitimate giveaways, they might obliged to join those thinking they've found a jackpot. We can hope for the best for these newbies that they won't fall for these tricks because these scammers keeps on reinventing strategies that they can do from different social medias, messaging platforms and other websites wherein they know that newbies are scattered everywhere. They don't target those that are aware of the scam and oldies in the community, but most likely the new ones and those that haven't read about them and how they scam people.

Those scammers would really use those festive since they want to catch the attention of people and think about there's ongoing promotion happen in their platform. This is why its important for us to know about such scams so that we would not fall from it.

Lucky to have online forums and other platforms that educate people regarding on those scams since its really helpful to many people regarding about how they could stay away from those unfortunate incident that could provably happened to them.
