As much as I don't in anyway support shit post and it's posters and spammers, I don't think listing their names here will make much sense rather it will only end up giving us at the Nigerian Local Board a bad name even though it is not all the names of everyone here will be listed.

I believe we can find a better way to stop spammers and shit posters in our local board and I think ignoring their thread and maybe moving their post to off topic will be a better way to handle the situation Imo. Let me also remind us that being a hero or legendary member doesn't mean you can not spam so if names are going to be listed then the op must add all the ranks not just full members, and seniors. If the forum has not created a board to list out the names of spammers and shit posters why list names while we can possibly request for a sub- board to move shit posts to off topic.

I remember a post that I saw in the past, about a user that was banned and he appealed for the ban. The account was not unbanned because he was plagiarizing. He evaded the ban and his alt was known and banned again and it was noticed that the alt also plagiarized. A member on this forum posted that not that his account is banned, but that the user himself is banned. If a newbie can not cope on the local board, definitely he can not cope on the English board. a local board should not be a spam den but it should have quality posts like the English board.

Di way di shitposts and spam posts in the local board is alarming and otnos getting out of hand. As dis Discussion dey go on people are still having di confidence to drop this The importance of taking Beer ( Alcohol) in moderation. People jus take di matter for granted. Di DT members in the board should work hard now because these will not hear word if na ordinary warning without action. Till now I have not gotten the message in that thread. Drinking beer now is a thread in Bitcointalk. Or am I the person day e no understand di thread?

I believed these are some of the reasons why dis thread is created and now it for the users in the board to report such threads. We are not in beer palour to discuss the important of beer. And not everyone here drink beer.

I never knew you tagged some members last year, although I joined the forum in the month of October last year. But since you sent PMs across too, it's better. I remember sending a few of them PMs, and they did not respond, nor did they stop posting more of those low-quality topics.

Tagg is not an everlasting mark, although it depends on the offense. For me, the way I picture this whole tagg of a thing, it should just be like a tool of correction in some cases and not be left on one's profile for eternity. Let's assume you have PM someone to make an amendment to how they post, and they still keep ignorant of their tool. Then you can drop a tag like "shit poster, spammer, read the forum rules, and contribute positively, and I can consider reversing thiss tag." As such, I believe the member will want to work toward that tag so that it can get removed, or even in a situation where the new member lets go of the account to create a new one, if they start again, they will be more careful. Except for some cases I have seen on the forum where the tagg is used as a tool of war, which it's not supposed to be.

I had a bunch of them under my custody last year, and the end result was fantastic because the ones who didn't develop over time were removed from gambling-related campaigns, and it served as a stepping stone for the majority of them to improve and contribute more to their conversation.

1. Bitcoin Discussion
2. Naija Politics and Society
3. Off Topics: where garbage post will be trashed in. Like the ones I dropped

So allow them to post there interested topics on economics and other valuable topics there, but merit no go flow there so dat will make dem not to use there frequently but on the main board. But if you say make we remove the Other Discussions Board, no problem we go remove am.

Di trend of shitposts, as una de call am here, de quite much, and e no go help di growth of di board in terms of quality discussions about bitcoin, wey be di key reason of di forum. Infact wen I join di forum and come begin to de post for dis local board, e no be like this. All of a sudden di trend just change. My observation for oda local boards be say dem get sub boards, and if we get am like dem, e go help to address dis matter wey de on ground. If our ogas dem see posts wey no suppose de for di local main board, na to shift am go to di sub board.

Anyway I observe say some posts de locked, dat one na anoda way to address di matter, so we go see say dat kind post no belong for di board.

Those lists you highlighted belong in the off-topic sub-board - The easiest approach to accommodate everyone is to create an off-topic sub-board for those who prefer to spam the main board with social media junk. We're not leaving anyone out; creating an off-topic sub-board would spare most of us from sanity and would also save you from having to make a number of spammer lists.

The main board can cover Bitcoin discussion & Economy related posts.

E be like say we go revive this topic to it real purpose because those guys e want start again. See how dem dey mess up di board trash topics and off topics. Some topics does not even belong to any category. Clean the board with quality posts. If you know you are not familiar with bitcoin discussion then you have to browse and learn from there because not is not compulsory that you must make a Post everytime. Use some weeks to make good research then come back to the forum and ask questions if there is any. And read posts then make comments from there. It is very simple to use if really you are ready.

I can see that the board is messed up by the newbies and this is making some of the legendary men dem dey run from the Board because dem no fit put mouth for those trashes wey di newbies dey vomit here. To clean di board nai be di best and if anyone can do it, make di person do without wasting time.
