Yes you are correct, fraud has been one of the major issues in this country and it's becoming so worse that it's even mollycoddling the image of the country (Nigeria), However, Nigeria is not the first country to start this fraud stuff but the way the new scammers are all over making it look as if Nigeria is the only country that does fraud, like in those days, scammers are the matured men and women but still it wasn't so popular to the knowledge of everyone.
Well, the government can not stop fraudulent act totally in this our country (Nigeria) but I believe that they can be able to do somethings that might reduce the fraudulent act.

My broda fraud dey everywhere and I know why people wey dey this naija dey always think say Nigeria nai do fraud pass. For my thinking, I actually think the motive that first lead to Bitcoin being ban, no be even the issue of fraud because I believe say the matter dey related to the fact  say these government dem no fit track and tax the use of Bitcoin in the nation since at that time the technology was still new to them but with recent development the new government seems to be kinda creative when it's comes to matter of such.

Op, crypto fraud dey common for the world but I no know why Naija own come full market. This crypto fraud thing done makes so many of our Naija youths no dey listen to advice, when you tell them to look for legit ways to make money they go see you as a person way no want make am for life and them go still tell you say legit no dey pay for this Naija.

Quote
This have lead to the scrutiny of crypto government have warn against cryptocurrency investment.
No be crypto fraud makes the government ban to use of banks to make crypto payments for Naija, government see say crypto done dey help some citizens of Naija dey alright and them no go depend on government policy again to survive for Naija. So the only way for them to put sand sand for our garri is to ban banks not to accept the deposit and withdrawal of fiat for crypto platforms.

Nigeria has been the hub for cryptocurrency in Africa and that has made many young Nigerians find a means of livelihood through it by leveraging on the many opportunities that this cryptocurrency investment provides. Scammers and fraudsters are now finding shade in this technology to hide from their illegal activities, this negativity shouldn’t be allowed to brainwash you into not learning about bitcoin technology. As a very good investment, their will always be people that always looks for the disadvantages and not putting the advantages into consideration despite it showing signs of positivity and productiveness to the society.

Even before Bitcoin fraudulent activities had been going on in the country the so-called Yahoo yahoo boys uses Western Union Money Transfer to receive funds, some of these guys colluded with some bank officials to recieve funds and some also recieve vital customers information thereafter steal their funds so tagging Bitcoin with fraudulent activities is just like painting it in a bad light, though those fraudulent means of stealing funds from unsuspecting individuals increased when the Bitcoin adoption increased and it's unfortunate that some newbies felt to the tricks employed by those scammers in stealing their funds or stealing their keys and consequently withdrawing all their funds.

Yeah that's true and it's because of the sentimental view of some white folks over there and you know one thing, Nigeria is a very prosperous nation and our dominance over there is also greatly felt because I believe there are Nigerians  in almost all the areas and sector of work in major countries overseas and to be specific, the united state, UK and some European countries.

There is no nation in the world today that can't attest to a certain degree of fraudulent activity although Nigerians have been painted vividly in the world on this part but there are also Nigerians in almost all the world doing exceedingly well and these good part is covered because of the scam nation title they have already tagged us.

Firstly you mentioned Facebook, Instagram and other social platform like whatsapp, but at first why will a normal person take an investment advice from a social platform, why we hear issues like scam people fail to listen, avoid social platform when it comes to an investment matter and bitcoin is an investment people know with high profit in return. This thing dey for fiat too just because they want fast and quick money.
Secondly you mentioned because of the scam rate in crypto(bitcoin) government has urge people to stop investing in bitcoin, the naija government wey I know? Them no dey see you sef them no dey reason person matter. Any decision our government make about bitcoin is for their own benefit not ours. They don't want to loose control and they don't want their currency to loss value because if government make bitcoin there legal tender I give this country just two month people go adopt bitcoin

When they talk about internet fraud most Nigerians do think that Nigeria is the worst country with internet fraud and this mentality is  drawn from the limited scope they have that's just revolving around their immediate milieu but when you're exposed to the knowledge about the outside world you get to read and know about events happening in the outside world away from your own country and with a comparative analysis you arrive at the understanding that your country is the least among country with fraudulent internet cases. However am not exalting what it's been done over here in our country by these fraudsters because crime is crime no matter the level, but making it sound like Naija is the worst is not true.

Correct the bolded word. In the introduction of bitcoin in the country scammers has started using it to deceive people though at first they could not used it to scammed anyone until people became to kno the real important of the coin and from there the people that were inquisitee to buy and invest in it were scammed. At that time they used it as ponzi scheme and many with the hope of getting big amount of money started to invest and lost their money.

And that is why it is not every investment platform you see in the internet is trustworthy to invest in. Well as for me I dont know how people dey see the inflation with bitcoin. Me, I never see bitcoin dey reduce or control over inflation.

Yeah actually scammers really shake things a lot then, and one of the reason why so many people falls victim was because of the interest they have on crypto but however nobody to mentor them on the ways to go about it, so they just rushed into it thinking it was a legit business and later on run they realize it was a scam.

I was actually a victim ones on telegram, I saw a pump signal trend were they give signal to buy a certain coin and make huge profits, so I joined the group and check there past signal and I saw that it was accurate so I decided to buy there next signal so after I bought when I tried selling back it wasn't working, that was when I new it was a scam and till now the coin is on my wallet.

Why I frown against any form of fraudulent activities by the Nigerian youths and their modes of operations. This has totally given the country a bad reputation in the international community. Although this not only peculiar to the Nigerian community. There is no country in the world that does not do fraud. But I don't think Nigerian government is fighting crypto because of the fraud associated with it by few individuals. Generally Nigerian government doesn't like an avenue where the youth of the country are meeting their financial needs. To me their are against crypto because they think it will affect their other forms of investment and the youth wont be depending on them any more. You know say our politicians dem dey like make youth dey continue to be their errands boys and whistle blowers on who is not supporting them. Normally them know say the more them keep the youth in poverty the easier e go be for them to win election. Na poverty dey make boys they go carry ballot boxes during election. Secondly the youths were not saving their money in the banks any more and the government saw this as a treat to them. You know say na youth plenty pass for this country. So I don't think it's fraud that is making the Nigerian government fight crypto in Nigeria. There is fraud in every aspect in the country.
