Yes, it's their loss when they don't listen and keep falling for one or the other trap when these scammers comes with new tactics. I have started joined one such group and their YouTube channel where they offer free signals and as well as premium only for paid subscribers over telegram and in the last 6 months they have made so many predictions which went against them and they even disabled YouTube comment section as users started posting negative stuff about the channel and all of a sudden I see these guys boasting about their prediction as few recommendation they made and asked us to invest in some altcoins 6 months ago has performed but if we check all their predictions in last 6 month they have suggested more than 150+ altcoins, now they have picked few altcoins which has pumped during the month of October and gaining more subscribers/paid participants.

People should just think about one simple fact that these guys would be billionaires if they can predict so accurately and all the subscribers will be billionaires as well and they will not be asking for $100 or some amount as a subscription charges.

Yeah, that's how it is. There's this thing that goes like this,"you never know until you try." So the thing is, those who don't know about it easily fall for it. But when they experience the scam, they learn it on their own. After this experience they become cautious and try to avoid any scam by any means necessary. Only then they try to see the picture from a different perspective.

Only a few will try to listen and avoid getting scammed. And as humans, we are more likely to do things that we are told not to. That's why even after reading this and that, they always fell into scams because they want to learn it on their own. I am not against this idea because what you lose you can always make it back. But you learn a very valuable lesson with that. Either way, it's good to share these and let people know. So thanks to OP for this post

I think you have to be careful with generalizations here.

Yeah, we must generalize to such an extent that absolutely no ground of disguised pump and dump scammers are left outside.
Every single one of those so-called signal groups is a scam, either by tricking newbies to buy subscriptions to garbage or tricking them to buy a ton of useless shitcoins just so the scammers can dump their load on them.

AcTuAlLy (makin fun of myself there)...although I agree MOST are scammers/schemers, I just joined one that's kinda cheap that I've been wanting to get into for many years. She's VERY good, and posts data on all the trades, with profit/loss stats for each trade. She also tells you where to put stop loss, and different targets for exit, so it's not just like "buy this coin now!" kinda pump n dump. Her TA is top notch & she has a HUGE following on X (I know that's not an indicator) but she's kinda a big deal, with a team & magazine & movie even I think & does give some free signals on X where you can see her TA is GOOD.

I'm kinda new here as far as posting & am not sure of exact rules, so don't think I can give her name or link to her site...that's NOT my aim....and won't tell you if you ask, even though I do have referral code, cuz this (bitcointalk) is the only site I lurk on to get good info about crypto & I don't wanna jeapordize it. Though if someone w/good merit assures me I can say her name, I will only give you her very commonly used first name & you can find her w/a little effort.

I just wanna say there are some really good ones. I've been in crypto since 2016, though I still feel like a newb...and lost a bit trading like a degen. But I did that to myself, not cuz I followed others' coin recommendations [well, not technically...though I did flw high quality accts on X & would DYOR before making purchase (usually LOL)]. And then I'd get emotionally attached to coins, so this TA group is what I need so I just follow their rules accord. to her TA signals that show where to put SL & 1-8 profit targets. When you always get out of a trade at approx. 3% SL but almost all trades are exited w/minimum 5-10% (oft way more) profit, with very few being at a loss, then you win...cuz her TA is tops.

Unfortunately, the world revolves with money right now. If you don't have the capability to pay, you will never received good ideas or strategies that will help you maximize the profits of your investment. However, with the existence of paid channels these days, I cannot say generally that they are into scams. Some are actually just trying to use their channels at an advantage to provide helpful tips and ideas in exchange for money to improve trading and be successful on it. Some are really reliable but majority are already driven with greed and end up scamming the people while trying to market their strategies in exchange for money.

And those who are greedy and are already hunger for profits will eventually bite this kind of offer. But still end up losing their trades because what they paid do not really work, even if they say that work for those who provided them.

Perhaps, that was a problem for many traders, they easily fall into the traps of scammers because what is in their mind is all about money neglecting that is can be possibly a scam project. I was very certain that the scam would never end and they will come up with new and effective ideas that even experienced traders may fall into their hands.

The only option and I know is it quite effective to avoid them is not to trust strangers who offer help as it is their tactic to gain trust and then execute their plan. We have anticipated it before we fall into their trap.

Your point is however a warning for us as I have seen many scam channels where they cheat people with different signals.  Earlier I saw a channel where the channel was premium, but they didn't have any group to text. And I think channels that don't have groups always get scam traps just to grab money from people. Most of the new people think of trading after seeing those signals, and sometimes they lose money especially those people give some tempting signals, for which people go to trade according to those signals. Those people who make such predictions are mostly wrong, so it is best for beginners to be careful. Basically, I think the things you have shared here will be beneficial for a newbie and everyone, it always helps us to learn a lot. So by reading this article, we must avoid accepting those scams and never trade using such channel signals.

Those which fall into those scams do so because they really do not stop to think if what they are reading makes sense or not, a strategy that wins every single time sounds appealing, as who would not like to have a strategy like that? However they forget that such a strategy cannot exist and if it did no one will share it, so they are easily deceived by scammers and they are attracted to those groups, and then they read all of those fake reviews and they get convinced that what they are seeing is real, so they finally give some money to those scammers, money they will never get to see again.

Learnings would always come after those mistakes which it is really that a very common scenario for people to experience on on which it would really be just that so normal that they would really be that

Rather go for technical analysis nad learn to read indicators and back test the date you will be in a better position to trade rather than joining paid groups.

I really agree with this, although the process will be longer to finally be able to start enjoying profits but at least in every defeat there is knowledge gained that can be evaluated so that our trading gets better, but unfortunately, the long road will always be unpleasant to choose and shortcuts became the main choice without first checking whether it was possible that the signal would provide profits because they had already been tempted by all the screenshots of successful trades even though there were many more which turned out to make members lose.

That's one way to describe being approachead by these scums, they entice you with great returns for your money in hopes of you buying into their schemr but when in reality, their signals don't have any semblrance that they're working, maybe because they want to make it big quickly so they lie, cheat and steal from you, that's why it's important that we're asking the right questions.

Definitely with you on this one, signal groups aren't that accurate anyways and you're better off learning about trading yourself and learn the basics on analysis and how to make a good entry. The only time that I would probably give in to these signal groups is when those signal groups are giving their services for free and I don't think there's no way that a scam or even your run of the mill signal group would do that because they know that they're not the real deal and they just want to fool as many people as they can before bailing out of the group or before they can go radio silence. If they invited me to this and it's free then expect me to join those groups and also they have to show results that their signals are correct or even close to what they're saying.

Paid cryptocurrency signal groups are not worth it for your money, you might want to spend your money on your trading journey rather than trusting random people who "provide" trading signals. You have to know that technical analysis will not always give you profits, so why pay someone for it if you can make on your own. Making your own will help you grow, you might lose a lot of money first before your trading accuracy will increase but it's worth it in the long run.

Premium trading signal groups can only favour one set of people on the long run and that is the owners of the group and the admins. Do you know how they will be favoured;

• If there is a chance the signal will work, the owners of the group will first benefit from it.
• The fees that are paid by individual members of the group is already enough as a means to earn a living
• When the signal does not work, they will promise you a better and free signal next time to keep you in the system
• They built community base and also earn from adverts 
• They most likely might be practicing pump and dump

Probably you only saw those pump and dump signal group on telegram channel that provide buy price and tp/sl with their signal but there’s indeed legit signal that provide better technical overview with their call to back up their signal and not the typical pump and dump.

There is no 100% legit signal; all signals will make a user lose whether we like it or not, and the OP didn’t just join dump signals, but most of these groups claiming to provide signals are not legit because if it’s possible, the way they are hyping it, we will be sure of what they are talking about, and they won’t disturb people to join. However, as traders, we're not supposed to rely on signals but to help us when trading, so you can see that these people only claim that they’re proving people with signals but also not using them as they know that it’s not legit. So I think even if we have nothing in common again.

Signal groups/channel started as legit service and just impersonate by scammers now due to its demand. I do agree that most of this group now is mostly scam but there’s still legit out there that give solid call.

You are right. Scammers spoil the service, and currently, with those legit signals, I don’t even think they are still rendering the services again, as I’m not seeing any legit platform giving out legit signals. Even if we still have them, they are not much, and other ones are now scams.

That is a problem because they have too much affection for money and they think that by following these signal groups who show them great trades and easy money, they can be like them. Therefore, they are pulling themselves into the trap and know how these signal groups really are. In fact, it was a long issue but we can't blame them either because they didn't even care about reading those issues because their mind had already been focused on easy money and ways of becoming rich.

They trick people by saying they will pump certain coins when that is not what they mean. They didn't say clearly that what they meant was to get people who joined their channel to start buying their coins.
That would obviously raise the price of his coin so that people in his group would think it was a pump done by signalers.
There are many things they can do to deceive people who join their channel, especially to get money from these people.
They'll make their channels paid, and they'll say they're an elite trading group and stuff.
That's why we have to be careful if we see an offer to join someone's channel.

To be fair this is a common thing, not really a new thing. We have talked about it here in many topics and we need to remember that we could end up with talking about it a dozen more times and people would still fall for it. I do not get it completely, what kind of weird thing it must be that people would end up with a result like this? That never really made sense to me, I think it's obvious that we are talking about a situation that has to be a little bit different, and I think it has to be a bit sensitive as well.

I understand that we are talking about a situation that is so well designed that even after YEARS of talking about how these are scams, these fake scam signal groups still manage to find customers, that's weird.
