Whatever these politicians say hopefully they do that for their own sake and betterment of their country.
They won't just do it because it's on trend and seems popular these days and not just for politicking.
Because how many times did we see politicians use everything, every topic that they can to support for votes.
You are too much of a good person if you still think that politicians care about their people, I don't think that there's ever a politician that's been instated in a position of power because they care for the people first and foremost, that's an unlikely scenario. I guess I'm just to cynical and skeptic about politicians, maybe there's some that's a real public servant but given how corrupt that profession is, it won't matter if there's a saint of a politician among the cesspool.
I know that there's so much bad guys from these politicians but I am not closing my doors that there's this reality that there are still some good from them. I know what you feel and that's probably from what you have seen and that's why you think that all of them are corrupt.

I feel like this move by the Argentinian president is the kind of move that's not motivated because it helps the people, it feels like the President is going to be the one that's going to benefit big time from it.
We don't know but I think it's just one plan that's being made because of how terrible their economy nowadays.

This would be something great if implemented properly. My only fear is that when government officials tend to involve themselves with anything Bitcoin or cryptocurrency there is always a catch an inside reason which is hidden to the public. Obviously, they would make their intentions clear and speak of the advantages to the public which will be well convincing but i have this feeling that there is always a political ambition attached to it. Once a door is closed there will always be another one which they can use to manipulate the system.

What happens is that he thinks that the most immediate solution to Argentina's currency problem is to dollarise the economy, but in principle he is in favour of bitcoin.

I think that discussing the issue of the economy in Argentina is sensitive because of the country’s status with the International Monetary Fund and how the economy is being developed. it is natural for the commentators’ discussions to be about the issue of the economy and its details, but it will not go far in accepting Bitcoin as a legal currency or even for daily use, as happened in El Salvador.

I have heard many alternatives in which Bitcoin can contribute to improving the economy, and I hope that some of them will be implemented.

If involvement in bitcoin would help in their economy, why not?
He may be pro-bitcoin that's why he has a very positive stance towards this market,
but if it will contribute to uplift their economic status or at least have significant impact on their people,
there's nothing wrong to involve his countrymen so long he has good intentions and not personal agenda.

It depends on the politician in question, since we have seen that the president of El Salvador actually seems to be enthusiastic about this market, however in this case I do think this is just an opportunistic proposal with the aim to gain the support of the people of Argentina as bitcoin is big there, and this is because the opponent of the politician mentioned on the OP is the most likely candidate to win the presidency of Argentina, so I suppose this is just a maneuver to try to win some votes.
