Retail investors only contribute a little to price of Bitcoin but if we combined all the retail investors around the world, it really helps the price of Bitcoin. Honestly, the pump and dump that we see in the chart are probably caused by institution. Usually, we retails are only riding the trend and cannot dictate or manipulate the price. You might just didn't notice them because they are the smallest candlesticks in the chart but honestly they are looking at the chart and keep updated almost everyday. Some of them are good analyst where they can forecast the price which makes them a profitable retail investors.

I'm not sure Ark Invest is a strong and reputable voice when it comes to financial management, simply because it's been going down by a lot for a while. It had $50 billion worth of assets under managements in 2021, but that went down to $16 billion in 2022, and the current estimate is less than $7 billion (all according to Wikipedia). BlackRock is certainly one of the giants, and it does seem to have a strong interest in Bitcoin, but another giant, Goldman Sachs, seems more sceptical. So perhaps there is an increased interest in Bitcoin, but it's not 'the choice of investors'.

I think I agree with you but I believe time is just what is holding this to come to realization because Bitcoin is still at its early stages and some might agree that the grow of it only in this short is something to actually write home about because no one actually expected this massive acceptance from the onset and I believe after another ATH  is achieved the adoption will also continue to grow more and more people will invest in Bitcoin but I know the ratio or margin compared to other investor will be big but atleast we know we are getting somewhere.
