I posted this thread in my local board on the 9th that was a day after yesterday concerning this particular altcoin how it jumps from $1.22 to $1.80 in less than 24hours seeing it as an altcoin that one might invest in the shortest period of time, but was bullied and that made me to lock this thread and moved it to altcoin discussion.. Although I was still skeptical about the price  movement it's was just about 24 hours but now it's about 72 hours making it hit $4.38 and now isteal have the reason to believe that this altcoin has the potential to recover like I said earlier. FTT token is a native currency of FTX exchange and due to collapse of the exchange I don't think people will have that trust again toward this project since their bedrock are being destroyed and investors lost huge funds during the collapse, this has caused so much damages to the crypto market. About their sudden increase, well i won't argue any bit of it but should be very mindful as altcoin can't be trusted despite any rise to me this is possibly to gain back their investor's faiths but believe me or not no reasonable investors would want to go investment with that project anymore because their image has been tarnished. As a piece of advice to you if investing always use the funds you won't come larmenting of how you have lost huge funds, always be vigilant otherwise you won't know what would have happened next.

This is pure gamble and we should never trust these pump and dump tokens ever, it's a trap I am telling you from my experience. Never ever think that abandoned projects will reach ATH and there are zero reason one should even be trading this token as it's a bubble which can burst anytime and boom all your investments and holding will be vanished like it happened. I was surprised to see the price performance of FTX Token (FTT) recently, based on 7 day TF, the price of $FTT managed to rise up to 240% with the current price around $4. Back to the question, can $FTT reach its ATH again? I don't think so, it's because their image is already bad, maybe the significant increase that is happening now is because of market pumping from whales. Remember that the ATH of $FTT is around $84, that would require an increase of almost 20 times from the current price which is already pumped up.

FTT current price stand at $4.7 it was indeed a massive pump in it price from $1.2 however the possibility of reaching another ATM is far from reality because the last ATH was $85.7 in 2021 that was a massive pump as it stand now the price is already in a bullish run however it's price movement or price Action isn't going to be a one way traffic there is going to be price pullback or reversal before reaching $10 therefore the chances of reaching another ATM is very slim, halving of Bitcoin next would result to a massive pump in it price so also other tokens Like FTT would also experience a massive pump also however I doubt if it price would reach the last ATM.

I highly doubt it. This exchange has a lot of shadiness from its core and I doubt investors will be too optimistic on this token to invest huge amount even high price without thinking that the previous owner of this project still holds a lot of this token and willing to dispose anytime if he has a chance.

The existence of SBF is a threat to FTT growth that’s why it will never reach again ATH besides most of the CEX right has their own utility token which means competition is much tougher now compared before when FTT main rival is just BNB.

Good recovery from FTT coins after OP post update under $2 and today success raise highest price around 24 hours more than $5, I don't know what beside news make FTT success raised up to higher price although their exchange not indicated will relaunch in short time. Talking about the opportunity hit ATH again I think its not easily around the highest price above $80 and difficult current price around $5. Regarding with their market not recovery or refund investors money I doubt with FTT will hit their ATH price although in this days make another highest price again.

i feel that decentralization is the key ,  Any coin or token should not be controlled by a single or a group of persons , that was the original idea behind the foundation of starting bitcoin by satoshi after banking collapse in 2008.
if you see, the price of bitcoin as we see now, the value it created is due to decentralization , bitcoin is neither an exchange nor any stable coin as direct mode of payment but a pure decentralized coin without any single entity controlling it. , it is accepted as payment mode due to its vast decentralization.
similarly if you look at dogecoin , the original founder exited all his holdings long back  , once it got decentralized , the price increased significantly after that.

Like we all know that the crypto market can be very unpredictable looking at some strange things we normally see in the market which we never expected to see. The project might go up again to a level that would surprised many investors that had sold there holdings. That is how the market works, anything can happen anything any day so if you are already holding, it would be better to keep holding since the bull market is still loading. Just like we have seen with pepe recently that the price skyrocket when no one ever thought it would toook that kind of brave movement.

When a token has fallen by 95% like FTT it is possible that we can see some big pumps. It won't get anywhere close to its ATH though. What remains of FTX is being sold off. FTT tokens could be abandoned entirely, dumped, or transferred to new ownership. If the FTX exchange comes back then the token would get relisted on many exchanges and current holders would use that opportunity to cash out causing the price to crash.

You would have to be a complete degen to invest a significant amount in FTT right now. It will take a long time before everything is fully resolved with FTX. It is risky to trade this token but if you have a few bucks to play around then I don't see much of a problem.

this token quite literally already abandoned by the exchange itself i don't expect it to increase in price, even though recently there has been some pump, but its just random pump that also happened to many shitcoin its not a long lasting pump one that can sustain for long period and allow it to set up for breaking all time high.
if ftx is under new management there's not even any guarantee that the token itself will be utilized by the exchange and might possibly just abandoned since there are too many things needs to be solved with ftt.

It is a very unexpected rise to happen from FTT  (FTX) after a shocking collapse of this exchange. Though it was surprising, this won't make people gain the courage to invest and think about a brighter future due to the past issues that even be the reason for their collapse. It was indeed great to see this thing happen but never I thought it would turn to bullish first than with Bitcoin.

Maybe I was wrong but this pump shows something like there is manipulation with the price. In fact, it was very common for those projects that had issues in the past just to gain attention.

FTX is a failed exchange and FTT is their product. Even if they manage to relaunch this exchange it will not be able to perform like other exchange tokens like BNB and CRO if there isn't any insider trading. This exchange is ignored by the SEC and they are still trying to help the exchange reestablish its foothold in the crypto industry. It looks like FTX still has influential friends in the government who are trying to help him.

FTT is doing well in terms of price but I don't think it will hit its ATH in the upcoming bull run. These tokens are still tradable on the open market so they can grow in price with any good news related to FTX.

What's the usage of this token if the FTX is no longer in operation? Well the pump seems a good hyped but there's still a risk and manipulations are present as of the moment as we've seen the price down to $3 again. There's a big risk here and it is still far from its ATH so better no to be complacent here. There might be a good news going on with this project, know that they still owe investors and they have to return it to the rightful owner.

Your reasoning sounds more like gambling than investing. I usually see this kind of reasoning when it comes to investing in meme coins. But this is not the best way to lose money. Let's be realistic, ftt will be of no use to anyone. Sure it's manipulation and you might get lucky. But it's like a casino.

Look the recovery this coin has presented on the last days may seem impressive to some, but when you watch the charts the recovery this coin has made so far is barely noticeable, and while it still has the interest of several traders and speculators it will never reach a new ATH, and this is because one of the most important aspects of any coin is the trust people have in the coin itself and its issuer, and that trust has been broken already, so if I were you I would not have such high hopes for this coin.

Even though FTT has managed to experience a good increase recently, but to reach ATH again, who knows. I'm a little pessimistic about that. Although today, FTT has increased by 10.44% to around $3.46. However, FTT's ATH is around $85.02. so, there is too much distance from the current price to ATH. especially now that FTT is not really worth it because the fundamentals are no longer useful. So, maybe it will be very difficult for FTT to independently reach ATH again.

I find that probably the safest way possible you can make profit from newly launched projects is to acquire tokens in the form of airdrops but of course you have to make sure that you would only get airdrops from those that seems legit aka those who do not require you to send them money

Some tasks are okay but other than that you might want to double check the project after you have acquired the token and let us say it gets value then you should be on your toes and immediately take them out you would not want to be stuck after everyone has pulled out their investment

It is fine if you will get free tokens from airdrops. But if you will pay for it or need to send some money just to get it, better think twice because more than likely, you are just wasting your time and resources. As at the time I created this thread, I was thinking maybe the move it made would make it grow just as other altcoins like SOL and ORDI was growing, but to my greatest suprise I see that it didn't grow as expected. Though I can't predict it's future but I don't really think if this coin can recover anytime soon or even if it can.

FTX is gone, so are the FTT. They are on liquidation stage and it's not wise to keep any FTT token. There's a clear message in coinmarketcap that "The FTX bankruptcy proceedings are underway. The FTT token no longer has any use, and may be liquidated by the estate to pay creditors. Please proceed with caution."
People should not overlook. Not everyone knows about the condition of this token and they might be interested how high the coin was at a time. I feel sorry for those who FOMO, thinking what they read will happen. They should have learned their lessons by now. I hope so? With all the damage that FTX have delt, I don't think they can restore their reputation again. And how will they pay those who owe them money? They need to that first. In investing, there is always a risk. If one don't want to face it, then they shouldn't invest at the first place.

I don't understand why CEXs let customers trade FTT for other cryptocurrencies. They should've de-listed it already to prevent huge losses in the long term. After all, FTX is no longer operable. I guess if there's a huge dip in FTT's price, investors/traders make a class-action lawsuit against CEXs. I'm yet to see how that will play out in the long run. The odds of FTX making a comeback are slim, especially when the brand's already "tainted". They would have to come up with a new name and a new token to lure investors into their business.
