Exactly, after the pump carried out by Elon was successful during the previous bullish period until it reached ATH more than $0.7. I think at that time, Elon attempt to bring Doge to $1, but it cannot become a reality, because Doge cannot pump any higher. It wasn't just one, but few times to try it, however, the effect was no longer as hype as when the public first discovered that Elon had a lot of Doge. Even using Doge to buy Tesla merchandise cannot pump Doge prices anymore, meaning the public is starting to become uninterested in Elon's tweet to create Doge FOMO.

DOGE ATH is 0.7. And I was shocked when it got to that value. Many bought at that price as they all expect it to hit 1 usd. I can't say doge will hit 1 usd but crypto is unpredictable and if It can break that previous ATH again, It will surely pass $1. Even though I dislike doge as much as anyone, I could say that it has peaked at 70 cents not too long ago, during the last part. I think it should be noted down that we are talking about a situation that is a little bit different, and we need to arrange our thoughts according to what it could be, and not what it should be. I would clearly be able to say that it SHOULD not be 1 dollar, it doesn't deserve to be like that, and it never made sense to me that it would worth that much.

However, if we are talking about what it COULD be then I would say that one dollar is not something gigantic for it, there is definitely a very well possibility that it could reach those levels and be able to go above 1 dollar during next bull run.

All the crypto currencies have different characteristics than bitcoin so it is not reasonable to compare other cryptos with bitcoin. Token supply, technology, community and adoption have a great influence on its price. The price of Dogecoin surged after Elon mask started promoting it. Without elons push I don't think dogecoin will be in this place it is right now. I also wonder why some people always want to compare a crypto price with fiat currencies. Inflation lowers the value of fiat currencies gradually when crypto has a limited supply and if it continues to gain new users and its community increases in size its price grows as well.

You want to know why Dogecoin is struggling to reach $1? That's because developers made it an inflationary cryptocurrency. There's a lot of DOGE in circulation, with more to come in the future. If I'm not mistaken, DOGE's supply grows at a non-stop rate. For a "meme" coin without serious use cases, I'd look for other options.

I don't get why people keep investing in Dogecoin just because Elon Musk says so. They believe they will get rich quick by "riding the hype". But that's not the way it works. The whales will win, while the average investor will lose big time. Unless there's a massive bull run for BTC, don't expect DOGE to reach $1 anytime soon. Who knows if it goes back to being worth less than a cent ($0.01) in the future?

It's not about the fact that they are Altcoins but because of their individual nature. There is no cryptocurrency that is exactly like Bitcoin and even though there was any, it can't have the same value as Bitcoin because Bitcoin has been known for super long now. The use/purpose of the token matters, the tokenomics matters, the blockchain matters, etc. It doesn't matter how many years Dogecoin was created, it's about what it is used for. It is possible for Dogecoin to get up to $1 overnight because after all hype has a lot of control over it. Everything is possible but at the current situation i dont think doge will hit 1$ or will hit soon to 1$ because doge created as the memecoin the utilities is just for fun and tipping the network is fast but nowadays there is a lot of fast chain and cheaper than dogecoin. and secondly dogecoin doesnt have max supply I know coin like ethereum has no max supply but doge dont have burn mechanism so the new coin will keep exist until infinte so I dont think the coin will hit 1$ soon enough

You should ask yourself how many altcoins has become successful without the help of bitcoin, in any project their technology and development is totally different from each other and some people have in mind to run a short term project while some have in mind to elongate their project, so while bitcoin is differ from altcoins is because of the TECH  aspect of them, its very clear that some of the altcoins dies off during long range of bearish market whereas bitcoin withstand all conditions of bearish, so that is to shown that the development of bitcoin is more superior than others.

Anyway, joking apart, I know my wish may not come to pass as it's more likely to hit $1 this incoming bull run than miss it. My anger is that I hedl Doge for four years only to sell off my huge stack of it in 2021 and it spiked to its ATH two weeks after I did. It hurts, really, till date.

At $0.7+ ATH, it's just a matter of $0.3 to hit $1. I don't think that should be an uphill task for Doge to achieve. Elon Musk is a very wise man and I don't think he's still going to be campaigning for Doge coin like before. The game has changed so we expect to see something different entirely. There was a time he was asked if he is going to use doge for his Twitter logo but he blatantly says no, having no plan for that. Doge is a good project no matter what anyone is taking about it. It is a good meme coin that is going to do wonders in the market when the bull market comes. Elon Musk us more focus on his business now and how to make money for himself.

It cannot be denied that Doge coin was once just a meme coin, which was often used for faucet prizes or for transactions on certain platforms. but of course that was before the hype when it skyrocketed last season. And most of us never thought that Doge could be that famous during the hype.

Therefore, if we talk about the hype coin in preparation for the bullish period later, then this will be something that is still 50:50, it could be that Doge can reach $1, or it could fail. If it can indeed penetrate $1, this will be a very excellent achievement for Doge. but if it fails, we have to be prepared for this condition.

Regarding dogecoin reaching the price of $1 is not impossible, especially the holders, in the previous cycle doge also almost touched $1 and the difference was only a few cents away, but for dige to reach the price of $1 requires a more powerful price push and speculation, as before elon musk really gave speculation, about dogecoin which made dogecoin rise very significantly last season, but if elon musk speculates again in this altseason then dogecoin has a great probability to go to the price of $1, I highly doubt if elon musk takes the risk again to openly talk about doge in the media.
