Why is it that our people too like Awufu? Can you imagine how delighted people have been after MTN paid their Xtratime debts? I'm sorry for what happened to those people. How can it be that someone you owe will still clear it for free? Where by some people owe MTN about 7,000k and are unwilling to repay back, some will simply remove the line is owe from their phone, keep it for One side and go get a new SIM card and go about their lives.

However, all customers should not be worry because MTN Nigeria Communication is currently examining this because it occurred as a result of a network outage, and MTN has stated that people will repent it every customers balance will be restored back, after the issues as been resolved.

    Saturday been soft for mtn users as Dem wake up to dept freedom news from their network provider.
Normally, naija pple and free things na 5&6. So many stories behind the whole thing sha buh network glitch or not abi na sponsorship, Dem been incur extra debt. E dey sad because the debt wey Dem pay back was about 1Trillion and under 7hrs, dem incur an extra 600billion additional debt.
   Well whatsoever the cause may be sha, congratulations to those wey borrow again and sorry to those wey been dey patient and wait till later but couldn't borrow. Make mtn try resolve their glitch issues and also install proactive measures to prevent cyber attacks on their systems because that also can be a cause of the sudden debt payment. This is very funny I swear, infact, I dey roll for floor with laughter like this, reason being say, I dey owe this mtn people 1800 naira plus small change wey dey on top, e don dey go like one month wey I dey owe them this money and I no won pay, i switch begin use my airtel for browsing and calls, on the 11th wey I hear say they Don wipe people dept, I con check my balance con see say my dept no again, I happy but I know say mtn no dey give person free gift, this na network wey I don dey use since 2007 or so, i know say mtn no fit do this kind thing.

On the 12, I decide to recharge 300 naira to see if they go comot am, but they no comot am, I just dey observe, later on, I enter their Twitter con see say they say na glitch, na this time I completely remove my mind for all this matter of mtn clearing people dept and so on.

Na just now self I check con see say they Don remove the 300 naira wey I recharge on 12, and a dept of 1500 naira do come back to my account..

The dept way we dey owe MTN done come back to us,, e no choke me because as that stuff happen, I go browse about am to know what's up.  So I con see am say nah manfuction from their system, so I just chill to know what's up but now my dept done come back to me.

I have resolved not to borrow money from MTN ever again. Regardless of who I want to call, I will wait to buy a recharge card before making any calls. I was taken aback to learn that the debt had been cleared, but I knew it was likely the result of a bug or other circumstance. I owed about 1700 at the time and was unable to make any calls until I paid the amount owed. A lot of people were happy and even added to their debt, everyone was happy but the happiness was not for long because I heard they have returned the dept back the best does that are owing should start paying gradually to reduce the amount i was just to sure that mtn will not want to let that amount go.

The balances have accurately reflected on my Sim and I believe in most people's account balances. This is a demonstration of proper work ethics by MTN programmers. They've fixed the error used the backup to reflect accurate figures, lasing to little or no loss by their employers. Kudos to then, they earned my sincere respect.
