What amount of bitcoin is considered decent really depends on your personal situation.  Someone living in a developing country may feel pretty good about having just 0.1 BTC, while that might not seem like much to someone used to a high standard of living.  I'd say 0.1 is a fair start if you're new to crypto, but hardcore bitcoiners probably won't be satisfied until they've got a full coin or more.  Me, I'd be pretty jazzed to have just a few bitcoins but I know people with much bigger goals than that.  It all comes down to what you're aiming for!  Just getting some bitcoin at all means you're ahead of most people out there who still don't really understand crypto.  But sure, 0.1 is a solid foundation to build from if you want to keep accumulating.

Considering the maximum available number of bitcoins, that we all know it's 21 mln and several of them are lost forever, and the number of people in the world, yes, I would say that simply owning 0.1 BTC is to be considered a satisfactory quantity. For some people it could be a little amount but for many others is a dream.

But it should be clarified for the OP who is a newbie that these are statistics on addresses, and that a person usually has their holdings in several addresses, so it is not useful for anything more than getting a vague idea.

I also wanted to quote this distribution. According to it, if you're holding anything over 0.1 BTC, you're practically in the top 10% of holders, at least in a way. 0.10 BTC isn't a great deal of money, but it's a relatively decent amount of BTC for the average person interested in cryptocurrencies. However, I agree with your point; the majority of people are holding their coins not only in separate addresses but, most importantly, on exchanges. The majority of daily transactions occur on centralized platforms, so it's quite safe to say that, for this reason, it's practically impossible to come up with accurate statistics on how much BTC is averagely stored.

TBH the reason behind it is a lack of awareness, people are not educated to recognize their financial barriers, and their thinking pattern is not mature, more on this negative propaganda always keeps putting pressure on people about Bitcoin's reliability.

Still, those who are visionary and recognize how effective potential and influential bitcoin can be in the future, are aggressively accumulating Bitcoins for themselves, and for their heirs. Those who are directly or indirectly involved in the Crypto industry do own some satoshis at least this what i think.

That's not true. The majority of average people have less than one Bitcoin. The total supply of Bitcoin is 21 Million only. But there are 8 Billion people in this world. If there are 10% of people want to adopt Bitcoin in the next ten years and each of them wants a portion of a Bitcoin, that will be 0.0021 BTC on average. So having 0.1 BTC is kinda enough after ten years.

If you are an early adopter, try to gather as much Bitcoin as you can. Nothing is enough amount for greedy people. Actually it depends on how much you have today and how much you want to have in the future.

In my opinion, the level of satisfaction of each individual is relative, ordinary people who are new to Bitcoin are very satisfied when they first own Bitcoin even though the amount is 0.0001. It's not about the amount, but about the satisfaction or success of having the first Bitcoin. You may feel satisfied when you have 0.1 Bitcoin, but not others. Humans generally want to have more than they can achieve, but due to limited economic factors they have to cut their desires according to their financial capabilities.

That will depend on your perspective if you’re okay with this amount or not, or you want to get more richer than this or not. This could also depend from the country you come from and the value of 0.1BTC when compared to your local currency. There are a lot of people that don’t have upto 1BTC and they are millionaires in their country because of how valuable the BTC is compared to their local currency. If you would ask for my opinion, I will say it is a satisfactory amount having it from my place, but since I want more, I will want it to be more than that.

0.1 BTC is a very good digital. I know you need to have something much less than 0.1 to be a sat millionaire. A low class someone living in developing countries who has 0.1BTC should be considered good.

Considering it to be good is an understatement to me, it would be considered as great and a very good amount to live a comfortable lifestyle in developing countries. Most of the developing country youths that have already ventured into bitcoin can’t leave it for any reason now because of how profitable it is to them. Joining the bitcoin community was one of the best step I have taken in my life and will continue to embrace it forever.
