I'm not sure if Eloncoin is Elon Musk's own platform currency. If Elon Musk had its own coin, I think it would pump for sure. And if this Elon coin is not Elon musk own coin then it will not be pumped. The authenticity of this coin has not yet been verified. But I'd invest a few dollars in this Elon coin even if it wasn't Elon Musk's own coin. If it is like DogeCoin and Shibainu Coin then I will get a lot of profit from here. As per their website, it is a fan-inspired coin after Elon. It is in simple words a meme coin that wants to use the name of Elon Musk as he is one of the biggest free promotors of the meme coins like the Dogecoin. The reason why it might go beyond its potential is only when Elon Musk comes out with another tweet that is about a cryptocurrency project. Most of his tweets after acquiring Twitter are about the new rules. This is a good question... TBH, well I probably shouldn't say this, but I've never understood how 90% of signature campaigns are at all profitable for the project running the campaign. This particular campaign is paying for up to 60 posts per week -- that's 10 posts per day 6 days a week, not considering that at least some of the participants have alt accounts enrolled in the campaign. It adds up to several hundred shitposts per week. This renders the advertisement little more than a spam blast.

Back to the coin itself: its a proof of stake coin with 49.74% of all coins held by a single address. IMO you'd have to be crazy to buy this knowing that a single entity can earn half the staking rewards and dump the coin to zero any time they see fit.

IWell it is true that Elon Musk had publicly said that he would never create any crypto projec project for his company but mere look in Ng at it, Eloncoin is not in any way associated with Elon Musk at all. I think the name was choosen based on interest and being a big fan of Elon Musk himself. Normally investing in altcoins is very risky based on the many invents we had seen so far where investors lost there funds because of rug pull. After seeing what Doge, Shiba Inu and PEPE have done I will say this is possible. The altcoin marketplace is full of manipulation and that's why there are so many projects with funny names that make 100X overnight. These projects have also been used for money laundering and speculation. The same thing can happen with Elon and if they can manage to introduce some real utilities and community supports it we can see some adoption.

I would say it is both a risk and "fun" thing some people are doing. It is a risk because there is a super high chance that this is simply just a scam, and I would never put a cent into it personally myself because I see tokens and coins as investments and not fun things to enjoy.

However, I agree that after what happened to doge and shiba and pepe and many others, people think this is going to be a fun way to invest, something like "f the man" type of stance, something they can do to enjoy life and I believe that is not going to be acceptable all that easily.
