Hello everyone, I just registered an account.

I would like to ask a question and seek advice from all of you.
I have an S19 control board and I am trying to downgrade the firmware to S17, but I am not successful so far.

Is there any solution for this?

Thank you all.

What exactly is the model of your s19 control board? You should be able to find the model on the control board or under the sticker.
If you can't find it check this link below for a compatibility list of Antminer control boards.

Have you tried to flash the s19 control board through the SD card? If not try this guide below and then after flashing the control board through the SD card the guide pointing you to upgrade to the latest version through WebGUI or browser instead of upgrading it to s19 firmware use the s17 firmware.

The standard process for downgrading firmware involves accessing the control boards interface, usually via a web interface or direct connection and then using the firmware update mechanism to load the older version.
Before attempting any firmware changes make sure to back up any important data and settings from your S19 control board.

I don't think you can able to do that since the upgrade firmware on the WebGUI is for upgrading the unit to latest firmware downgrading won't work in the web interface.
If you upgrade it with different firmware or a lower version you might get some error like "Can't find signature" You can only bypass this error if you flash the control board through an SD card/OTG.

I actually remembered it differently, so I've tried it out a few times now and I have to agree with you. There is no general solution for this as it does not work with every firmware.
To be sure, I tried the web interface process again with different firmwares on an S19. In some cases it worked, but in most cases the message came: "Cant find signature"

That probably just serves as a security measure to prevent the installation of unauthorized or incompatible firmware. So the only way is the way with SD card as @BitMaxz already mentioned.

That's too much work for little to no gain, anyone who runs a mining farm should be able to afford a PC or laptop of some kind, if the farm has many gears then tracking them on a mobile app is going to be a nightmare, if it has a few then monitoring apps are not really needed to begin with.

Not trying to discourage OP, but the best question to ask yourself before attempting to sell a new piece of software is "why would people use it", since 99% of the users won't be to able to safely check if the software is "honest", chances are -- most of them won't run it anywhere near their mining farms, all you need to have a miserable couple of months ahead is a nightswitcher or antbleed virus infecting a dozen miners on your farm.
