What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.

Its difficult to guarantee a definitive answer to your question. Even if you conduct a survey on this forum or any other platform, its not guaranteed that you will receive an accurate answer because some investors might prefer to keep their privacy and choose not to answer. We can make assumptions, but ultimately they may not be relevant.

Yeah, Exactly, and honestly, I don't think these surveys are needed. From what I've seen, there are a ton of crypto enthusiast who are more into gambling than investing. I'm even leaning towards thinking we've got more gamblers than actual investors. See, when people are all serious about investing, they usually have to throw in a big chunk of money to have a shot at a decent return. It's the opposite for gamblers, though—they toss in a little and hope for a huge payout.

Here's my guess: Out of the 100% who are investors, I figure only about 1% of them are real gamblers. And by real investors, I mean not those who bail on their investment the moment things start feeling too much like a wild gamble.

Most people who hold Bitcoin, the majority of them are sure gamblers. The reason is simple, the gambling industry being the most widely accepting Bitcoins as a form of payment and only few other industries are as open as gambling platforms to accept cryptocurrencies in general. That is why I think it is in the 70-80% of the users not just 10-20% as most people who hold a large amount of Bitcoins, also have some set aside to entertain themselves and what better way than gambling to have some fun.
I don't know how you arrived at 70-80% of Bitcoin holders being into gambling, there is no source for that information and I feel it is completely wrong. Holding Bitcoin and being a gambler are two different things. No doubt integration of cryptocurrency payment has helped in the proliferation of gambling platforms and also make a lot of people to start gambling, that is not enough reason to conclude that 70% of Bitcoin holders and into gambling. In my country for instance, crypto gambling is not a thing and the percentage of people using such platform is minimal compared to the numbers holding Bitcoin. Gamblers are many and are mostly using conventional payment systems in doing their business. Similarly, Bitcoin holders are many too and are not much into gambling. Many of the people that are using crypto for gambling are not holders but can be regarded as users because their winning are easily converted to the local currency via Binance P2P.

Investors are people who invest in different businesses and I doubt Bitcoiners are also investors.
You need to add more clarifications  to this. Investing in one business also make you an investors. Many successful businessmen are specialised in one commodity, why can't you calk them investors? Because they do not invest in many businesses? Bitcoiners who bought Bitcoin are also investors because their committed their money in the expectation of some profits.

That's a difficult question because we cannot even count the number of Bitcoin investors. Some created a wallet but never used it, others created a lot of wallets but they are only using one.
But it's safe to say that many cryptocurrency users are also gamblers, especially in today's era where most gambling sites are accepting cryptocurrencies as a means to bet and also for deposits and withdrawals.
Identifying the exact number though will be impossible. Maybe some have tried to gamble using Bitcoin but didn't continue and others just tested if deposits with Bitcoin are really working.
I have a neighbor (not really a gambler in my knowledge) who is asking what gambling site I am using with cryptocurrencies as a means to bet and I told him the 2 best sites, so yes I think when you own Bitcoin and Altcoins you tend to bump to gambling at some point.

What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.

If we will consider futures trading as gambling for this discussion then I consider almost everyone here is a gambler except for those hardcore holder only which is very few in percentage.

Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.

I doubt that most gambler is not Bitcoin investor since most of us here learn Bitcoin before we explore in different altcoins. Maybe not all use Bitcoin on gambling but that doesn’t mean they are not a Bitcoin holder.

No date is available for this but this forum probably can tell approximately the number of users ruled out to have gambled. Probably a Rough estimation because even if there is a poll for this it's not gonna be an honest result.

However, the percentage of gamblers out of global BTC users will not be easy to get. BTC gambling is hardly discussed outside this forum but what is certain is that these gamblers are also Bitcoin holders.

I suppose someone could try surveying bitcoin investors anonymously.  But even then, how many would admit to gambling, even anonymously? And you'd have no way to verify if they're telling the truth.  So were left to speculate.  Maybe 10% of investors dabble in crypto casinos? 20%? 50%? Impossible to pin down an exact figure.  But it's clear there's significant overlap between the crypto investment and crypto gambling communities.
Even if you try that and you pull off the survey, you can never be sure that someone is being truthful to you in your survey especially if the questions in the survey is a bit confusing and people that answer them don't want to reveal too much about their gambling habit then you might expect some discrepancies or even wrong data. Given that people are pretty stickler if not paranoid when it comes to security, the anonymity of crypto will be a big hindrance to your intention of trying to get data for this thread's question. If you're setting your data on judt the forum members then you're probably going to get 90% since there's a lot of people that's interacting here in the Gambling board.
I doubt that most gambler is not Bitcoin investor since most of us here learn Bitcoin before we explore in different altcoins. Maybe not all use Bitcoin on gambling but that doesn’t mean they are not a Bitcoin holder.
I think so too but there's also the possibility that they're not a bitcoin investor because there's already thousands of altcoins out there and I don't think that bitcoin is their introduction to the world of cryptocurrency is entirely true anymore. But that's a slim chance and just my baseless opinion at best so you're probably right about these gamblers being a bitcoin hodler.

I don't think it is more than 10%. Being an investor and being a gambler are completely different concepts and most investors I know are definitely hate gambling. On the other hand, there are only a few gamblers that are serious investors. Investors are in the game of making money. Gamblers are in the game of losing it and somehow they don't realize the game they are in. Investors know that building wealth takes time, usually years and getting rich quick is a fairy tale. Gamblers think completely the opposite. They want to wager 1 and get 10 in return in a very short time. As you see these two different group of people don't have anything in common at all so I would be surprised to see a serious investor being a gambling addict.  They contradict each other.

Well, I'm sure we are not sure how many investors and, at the same time, how gambler gamblers there are, and I don't think that a gambler cannot be a crypto investor, and vice versa. My point is that anyone could be a gambler or a crypto investor. And I'm sure most of the investors in bitcoin or crypto currency do gambling. Well, because crypto currency and gambling go hand in hand, let's say many promoters of gambling are usually crypto currency holders because there are a lot of online casinos that offer crypto services.

And that doesn't mean being a gambler can't be an investor. We can say that only a few people who started gambling are investors, because a large portion of them are busy being addicted to gambling and don't have time to invest, or, let's say, their investments didn't go well as they gambled. You are true about the concept of gambling and investors, but still both have a similarity; they both can be involved in gambling. You can bet on a risky investment decision.

When it comes to Bitcoin investors who gamble it doesn't seem like there anywhere near 50% and I think 20% to 30% is decent number.
Crypto gambling is growing well and the majority of people who quickly discovered it are crypto players consisting of investors and traders.
It just that we can't determine for certain what truly accurate number is for the percentage of gamblers who are also Bitcoin investors.

Quote
Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.
I sure all gamblers in crypto gambling are people who are quite experienced in the crypto world but not all of them will have Bitcoin investments but Altcoin investments may have higher percentage.
Bitcoin is an asset with high price and an investor with relatively little money would definitely prefer Altcoins as an investment asset to be able to get bigger profits if only with not too much money.

The conclusion is that not all gamblers will have investments in Bitcoin.

Yes, it's somewhere around 20% to 30%. Gamblers often tend to want to win immediately. They cannot wait like investing in Bitcoin. And gamblers often spend small amounts of capital, so their Bitcoin investment will not bring high profits. They will use that money to gamble or buy Altcoin. Because the profits are higher than Bitcoin and faster, the risk will be proportional to the gains.
The percentage of people who invest in Bitcoin are people with large amounts of capital. They consider investing in bitcoin to make profits, while they gamble for entertainment. And there are people who buy Bitcoin, but their primary purpose is to use Bitcoin for gambling.

How can we know the exact percentage of bitcoiner that are gamblers, what will their data or statistical informations do to the bitcoin community, network or the gambling section, or maybe we should just assumed that almost all the gamblers indirectly have bitcoin in their holdings, despite that they may make use of either bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies to gamble on the casinos, they still have bitcoin in their possession no matter the proportion and just few may not have bitcoin, we should consider most of the casino gambling platforms as crypto online gambling platforms.

Do you mean playing games like SatoshiDice with bitcoins and sports betting?

Hard to say, but I guess the percentage of gamblers is higher in Bitcoin compared to the rest of the world population.

We cant really have those real percentages knowing that even just knowing the real numbers on how many gamblers worldwide whether a typical fiat casino gambling or crypto gambler then we dont really know behind
on what their investment approach on which it would really be that totally not known on the actual numbers but pretty sure that there are gamblers who area actually crypto investors on which it wouldnt really be that known on how much they are investing. This is why there would be no exact or precise numbers in speaking about this question or this kind of matter yet it would really vary on a certain individual on how they do give
out emphasis on the time that they do make out investment.

This isnt only really that limited on gamblers but also in other people as well which they do have the funds on doing so. It is really just that there are really that mindful or focusing that much with investment
and some do really both things since they do know on what are the chances and opportunities that it do gives.

And that is where they are wrong, there is a reason why the rich will always get richer, there is a reason why investors will always have the best result,  all these requires money, I mean good amount of money, but just because you don't have the big amount for investment and gambling seem like the best solution is foolishness.

It's not easy to make money they say, and this word is so on point, this is nothing but the easy way out, if 100s of people decide to walk in this path of luck maybe only one or two will come out with good results, all the rest are going to lose their money.

Investors don't find it easy to invest, but they get used to it, they also need money but to get the best result they have to wait for years, those who don't have the money don't want to wait, it's not that they can't find the money, it takes not so much money to be a good investment, but many people just like the idea of quick result.

What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.
How can we think of an investor as a gambler? Is it possible to give any information in favor of someone? Maybe many of the investors who are using Bitcoin are involved in gambling but there is no statistics where we can know about the personal interest of an investor. It is very common for people who are crypto gamblers to use Bitcoin but gamblers have no relation with an investor. Moreover, crypto was not established only for gambling. However, it is true that cryptocurrency plays an important role in keeping a gambler's identity hidden. For which most crypto gamblers can use Bitcoin. After all there is nothing specific to say about it.

in essence, trading is a certain kind of gambling. You never know exactly where the price will go, so at any moment you can either make a lot of money or be left with nothing. This is why bitcoin investors are used to risk, and no doubt a certain percentage of them use bitcoin in gambling (i think, more than 20 percent )

I don't think Bitcoin investors will be gamblers. Gamblers don't invest. For them, it is important to make money fast and trigger adrenaline. This is hard to achieve in the spot market. Maybe they can do it by making margin trades, but that still doesn't make them gamblers. I wouldn't characterize a gambler who gambles with cryptocurrency as a crypto investor. Assuming that the gambler is investing in cryptocurrencies, I would say that an accumulated amount of money will trigger the gambler's desire to win more. This leads to a cycle and the gambler can never invest for a long time. Because there has to be a long period of time before I can talk about investing.

When you say casino player whether online or offline it is hard to retrieve data because checking online no study provides the right figure and it's hard to come out with a close figure unless an international survey company does this.

Or maybe higher because casinos online are flourishing and so are Bitcoin investors, on your second question, gamblers who use Crypto casino platforms are automatically Bitcoin investors because they are using Bitcoin to gamble so I assume that if you're a Bitcoin gambler you are also an investor.

The data on the percentage of bitcoin investors who are gamblers is scarce because I couldn't find anyone in my quick search. I assume the anonymity of bitcoin investors and the transaction might have contributed to the limited research in the area. However, since the development and growth of crypto casinos, it is common to see bitcoiners place bets using the currency instead of using online casinos that can easily expose their identity. Using this forum as a case study, I will assume that 30% of bitcoiners might be gambling with the currency. My assumption is based on my observation of the activities on the gambling board.

We can't easily figure it out. A survey is needed to extract the data and confirm the percentage of Bitcoin investors that is also a gambler. Maybe half of the Bitcoin investors or rather all of them. We're not really sure the percentage of it will definitely be high. If we look for every place, even this forum, we can see a lot of gamblers that are also Bitcoin investors.

I am not even sure to what extent a survey would help to figure it out.
It would imply those who gamble and invest in Bitcoin would be willing to disclose they own Bitcoin for both of those activities. Keeping in mind that many people try to gamble using cryptocurrency in order not to disclose their activities to their government or even their family, many of them will try to lie about being both gamblers and Bitcoin holders.
This forum is quite of small if we consider the macroeconomics of each one of our countries. Though, it is interesting to me that many of the people here are from Africa, specifically from Nigeria. I have seen some news which say there are a very high percentage of gamblers in such country.

I haven't found any data that can show what percentage of Bitcoin investors gamble or even other crypto investors. To be able to find it, perhaps contact one of the casino owners to ask him to tell the desired data. I think it won't work either because of privacy.
Another way to find out the percentage of how many investors are gambling is by waiting for the year-end financial report, but even that is still impossible in my opinion.
