I am using Electrum wallet and earlier this week it was sending payments fine. Today all the payments I sent are unconfirmed or have a yellow error that says "unconfirmed parent" I tried to raise the fee and get this error: " The server returned an error when broadcasting the transaction.
Consider trying to connect to a different server, or updating Electrum.

insufficient fee
Your transaction is trying to replace another one in the mempool but it does not meet the rules to do so. Try to increase the fee."

And now my wallet balance has a Red Circle and says unconfirmed but it was literally green and confirmed 2 days ago. Any help plz.

The yellow colored triangle you see means that the parent transaction you want to Spend from (through CPFP) is not yet confirmed. If you need to switch server on electrum you can follow this link https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-switch-to-a-different-electrum-server/#:~:text=Switch%20to%20the%20overview%20tab,and%20hopefully%20start%20working%20properly.

This might be that you tried to do an RBF and you set the transaction fee low, the transaction fee for an RBF transaction needs to have a higher transaction fee than the first transaction so as to have nodes replace it base on fee

And now my wallet balance has a Red Circle and says unconfirmed but it was literally green and confirmed 2 days ago. Any help plz.

The red clock shown right next means that there is an incoming transaction and this will turn to green again when the confirmation of the incoming transactions are 6

The unconfirmed parent means that you are spending the fund that has been received in an unconfirmed transaction.
The solution is to increase the fee, so that miners includes both parent and child in the same block.

This might be that you tried to do an RBF and you set the transaction fee low, the transaction fee for an RBF transaction needs to have a higher transaction fee than the first transaction so as to have nodes replace it base on fee
If the fee used for the replacement transaction is lower than the fee paid for the original transaction, electrum doesn't allow you to click on "OK" button at all.
You get the error mentioned by OP, when the fee paid for the replacement transaction is higher than original transaction, but that's not enough.

Some bitcoin users do make one mistake that make them to have this type of complaint. Assuming you have 1 BTC and you want to send 0.3 BTC each to three people. Why not send it at ones? Okay, you may have a valid reason and want to send it individually.

Assuming you want to send it individual, do not forget that if you first send 0.3 BTC to the first person, you will have 0.6 BTC on your change address. If the transaction you sent is not yet confirmed, sending from the remaining 0.6 BTC will become a child transaction while your first transaction will become the parent transaction. Also if you send to the third person, you will keep on building unconfirmed transactions that have parent.

You can go to the first transaction and submit its txid on ViaBTC free accelerator if you meet the criteria: https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ and once it is confirmed, you can do so for the second, and then the third and so forth. Each will be confirmed after ViaBTC mine a block.

Or just use a very high fee on another transaction that you will just broadcast, a fee that would be able to confirm all your transactions at ones. If you can not calculate it, you can give us the txids to help you calculate the fee you will use for RBF.

So you have multiple transactions your first transaction you made should be the parent transaction if it is confirmed as you said 2 days ago but not for child transactions the balance will still shows a red circle.
Actually, the red dot you mean under balance is a pie chart meaning all your current balances are still unconfirmed and it is still on the mempool because you made multiple transactions even though the parent was confirmed but child transactions are not yet confirmed the pie chart will show red because when making a transaction all balance will be also processed in the transaction and sent to the change address or back to your wallet address.

Look at this image is this what you talking about? Or are you talking about a red circle for the network?

Or are you talking about a red circle for the network?
We can be sure that OP's wallet is synced and he/she isn't talking about the red network circle.
If OP's wallet wasn't sycned, the wallet wouldn't display the transaction history. Also, OP is getting an error from a server and that means that his/her wallet is definitely connected to a server.

With all the explanations and suggestions, all you need to do now is wait since you don't have enough balance to RBF your recent transactions. But with current network condition, maybe you might wait for another 5 days before it will be confirmed. Not unless you received a new different  confirmed transaction for you to make RBF now.

With all the explanations and suggestions, all you need to do now is wait since you don't have enough balance to RBF your recent transactions.
The error message mentioned by OP doesn't mean he/she doesn't have enough balance for increasing the fee. That error was given by the server when broadcasting the transaction and it means that the fee used for replacement transaction wasn't enough and it didn't meet BIP125 rules.

Today all the payments I sent are unconfirmed or have a yellow error that says "unconfirmed parent"
How many "unconfirmed parent" transactions are these?
Based from the context, those must be a result of your previous transaction's change being used as input by your next transaction.
(repeat in the next transactions)

So, the broadcast error might not be a simple "not 1sat/vB higher than the original"
but a case of "you'll have to pay the total fee of all the transactions to be replaced".
Means that if the transaction that you're trying to bump with RBF is the parent of your other transactions, it also has to pay with at least the total absolute fee of all of its children txns and Electrum doesn't add that requirement by default, only the mandatory additional fee that'll pay for its bandwidth.

If you successfully set the required fee and broadcasted it, its children txns will be invalidated by the replacement.
So consider it if those other payments are important.

The best course of action is to identify which is the latest child transaction among those "unconfirmed parent" transactions. (look at the balance next to amount)
Then, bump that child with a very high fee that'll make miners consider including its parent transactions to their block (basically a manual CPFP)
Without the txids, only you can compute for the best fee rate to use.
But based from the current state of mempools, now is not a good time to bump unless you're in a rush.

Can you tell us all unconfirmed transactions if how much fee you set?
If these transactions at least have 0.5 KB below and the fee you set is 0.0001 BTC/KB above you might be able to accelerate the transaction through ViaBTC.

I suggest try to submit all of the unconfirmed transactions on this accelerator below.
