I got x5 of my capital last week and I kept on playing like there's no tomorrow. I earned it all in a week of gambling casinos jumping from one game to another. Until in just one day it was all taken from me like the wind blowing all the cash that I had. When I reached just x3 of profits that's when I got mad that I wanted to bring it back to x5 one more time. You are right in a way but I think the most important thing is what your capital of $200 mean to you and your finances. If it is some money you can afford to lose  without it getting at your emotion, well I don't see anything wrong with continuing to gamble even after doubling the money. Some people go to the casino with the target of using small amount like the $200 to win big amount like $20k. For someone with such target, he will continue and will not care if everything is lost.

On the other hand, if $200 is such a great amount for the gambler, then doubling the capital is a huge achievement that demands staying away from gambling for a while.

I don't know how you come by this conclusion that the game is statistically impossible to win, that word does not sound nice to my ears. That there is when the greed starts to kick in, because most people are just confused when the winning starts coming. Satisfaction does not only come with winning but also with losing. If you have consumed the amount you allotted for that day, that should be enough if self discipline would be imposed. Taking $200 to the casino will make me forget that I need to save that $200, not to use all the money in just one night. It would be a stupid thing for me to do if I did it because all this time, I only gambled small. A gambler that knows what his doing, knows when to stop.  A lot of times, you can actually go to casino with that same $200 and you will end up not winning a dime.
