The biggest difficulty with shitcoins is that you can’t invest a lot of money in them. It is difficult to predict which one will be able to grow so well and therefore you need to invest not large sums in them, besides, with shitcoins there is a risk that you may simply lose what you invest.

And with Bitcoin, although we will not be able to get such a big growth, this investment will be much more reliable, since Bitcoin is a coin that very significantly influences the movement of the entire market and it has become interesting to too many large players, for anything to happen to it.

I'm just saying that ETH is the safest choice when it comes to altcoins, but I'm not saying that I don't invest in new altcoins. Indeed, finding hidden gems or projects that bring high and quick profits is very difficult but not impossible to find. if we know how and stay in the right lane like you said we can always find them. But what I also want to add is, many people also come here for profit but they reject altcoins and consider them useless. They only look at the negative side of it and judge, if you look at the profit side of it, it's not as bad as people say. It's a pity that many people are wasting their opportunities with altcoins.

These are temporary fluctuations and wont hodl on for longer period of time and yeah I agree these have reached ATH when Bitcoin is stagnant between $35k and $38k, But that doesn't give these coins an upper hand as these are new altcoins an same thing happened with other established altcoins when they were new.

I would say the major difference between Altcoin and Bitcoin is one give quick returns with high risk while other give guaranteed return, one has sustained numerous challenges and roadblock while other is yet to be test at such level.

You’re right, but one thing we need to understand is we’re not in this space for stagnation, there are still some other projects that can pose good and have high profit making potential even more than BTC, we just have to DYOR and be open minded. The general opinion of those around me is similar to yours. Most people invest in Bitcoin because it's a guaranteed investment and doesn't cause losses in the long run. The high risks of altcoins can sometimes scare people away from investing. The negative news we have experienced recently has kept people around me away from altcoin investments.

Exactly, Bitcoins is the first crypto ever introduced to mankind. Now they are comparing it with these worthless altcoins which are designed by seeing the Bitcoins only. Yes some altcoins give good profits in shorter period of time, but that doesn’t mean that they will be very valuable and as popular as Bitcoins. Actually in this case it is a ridiculous situation if we still have to continue to compare bitcoin with altcoins because in the end the comparison can be made if what we are comparing is equivalent. As for bitcoin and altcoin, there is no equality in it so why continue to be compared because in the end we all know which one is the best.
Comparisons like this will only make altcoins worse but I also don't really care about it because I'm not in it for now even though at the beginning I was in crypto I was in altcoins but my focus now will only remain on bitcoin.
But indeed seeing from the OP who is indeed new (possibly because the account is a beginner) I still think this is very reasonable to be asked by them but the answer must also be clear that bitcoin is still bitcoin and it cannot be compared to altcoins.
