Actually in this case it is a ridiculous situation if we still have to continue to compare bitcoin with altcoins because in the end the comparison can be made if what we are comparing is equivalent. Comparisons like this will only make altcoins worse but I also don't really care about it because I'm not in it for now even though at the beginning I was in crypto I was in altcoins but my focus now will only remain on bitcoin.

I guess that you bought your first altcoin on the ICO Boom, in that phase people are investing a lot of money into altcoins, even to some shitcoin, I remember tripling my altcoin value in just one night, and 6 months later the coin has no value at all. It might also happened in today's market but it's getting more rare and very difficult to find a promissable altcoin.

I don't really want to compare bitcoin and altcoin because they are not comparable coins. Bitcoin is a reliable and trustworthy investment platform but other coins in the market are never so reliable and secure platform. Since Bitcoin came into the market till now it has survived well and with a lot of popularity in the market but during this period many altcoins came in the market and disappeared from the market so there is really nothing to compare Bitcoin with altcoin. I am not saying that all altcoin coins in the market are bad but most of them have the potential to be scams which is why I always put bitcoin as my first choice for investing. Some altcoins can be accommodated in the portfolio but in small amounts.

Why are you taking this personally? After all, we are all learning and trying to establish a fact. As much as I do not like to take a side and behave like a real investor, it's Bitcoin enthusiasts who started and do what you are trying to let go more. I don't think there's any winding down with regards to the era of BTC dominance because the performance of altcoins still have great dependency on bit coin, they only at some point exhibit too much noise in-between the trends that makes them appear like they are doing better but when analysed critically you will discover that in-between it was just these altcoins trying to rally up to follow the trend been created by BTC.

The bull run been anticipated by almost everyone is Bitcoin dependent, it's from the cycle of Bitcoin we get the bull run so if Bitcoin is taken out, no altcoins can cause a notable bull run across the cryptocurrency market so Bitcoin continues with its dominance.

Honestly  I still wonder why people will be comparing bitcoin the first cryptocurrency, the first decentralized currency to altcoins that are imitation to bitcoin. The value of bitcoin shows that bitcoin is better than altcoins, bitcoin controls and lead the cryptocurrency market.  I don't see what is so special in altcoins that people prefer altcoins to bitcoin or want to compare  bitcoin and altcoins.  Bitcoin remains the best and can't be compared to other cryptocurrencies.

Finding altcoins that provide high value is very difficult in my opinion. I don't know what your reasons are but I appreciate your thoughts. I think what altcoins have is a huge risk when they no longer become popular. I still remember several altcoins such as waves, solana, monero, sandbox and decentraland which did not have a significant increase due to low market interest. Maybe if we are lucky we will get a gem that can increase up to ten times its initial value. But looking for it among thousands of altcoins I think is still too difficult for me.
