Great stuff. I am used to miss good contributions because i almost only hang around in WO all the time.
Solidworks seems to be a great piece of software. As i do more simple stuff (at smaller scales) i still go the CAD ->CAM route using a more simple program for milling.

For mechanical parts it is one of the best software, it is easy to use and the CAM (SOLIDCAM) is integrated, so it makes it much easier if you need to make any adjustments to the drawing

That is pretty awesome.  Has a bit of WoodCollector vibes to it, but I'm jealous.  I would recommend if you want to give it some color not to paint it, but powder coat it considering the material, but it looks great as is too.  Surely people are going to be asking you to make them one too as it's a great display piece.  Might even be good to throw it in some sort of frame and display it on the wall or as a paper weight on your desk.  If you do another one grab some video of the process as well.  Would probably make for a good YouTube video.

Yes, I think I'll leave it as it is, at most a polishing paste to give it more shine, specific aluminum was used for molds, so the finish is top quality.

I was thinking about making something to put on YouTube, but the problem is that this type of piece took 8 hours to complete (each side, total 16 hours), we didn't have a machine available during the day, so I left it running during the dawn, I left at 6:00 pm and when I returned at 7:00 am, all the machining of the bitcoin had already been completed. I only managed to take a few photos while I was preparing everything.

In the past, we had a camera installed inside the machining center that broadcast live 24 hours a day... it was really cool to watch the parts being manufactured from anywhere in the city

I've been looking at some of your pieces, all great and very beautiful too, what's your manufacturing process like?

Thank you for the kind words. My process probably isn’t as cool as yours and I’m sure the machine is not as expensive, but it does the job pretty well. Just some good old fashioned metal on metal engraving. I have a clip I uploaded to X (twitter) of the process that I’ll link below. Feel free to hit that follow button. LOL

Yes, i have to go back and forth between CAD and CAM. The worst is that if i need to update the DWG, i have to define all the cutters/depths/speeds from scratch again. It's not a problem with drawings consisting of a few curves, but still... annoying.

You can only have a good shit in nature if you know how to ignore all these annoying flies.
