Yes, as a dev you can easily change the source code a bit albeit to make it not a "copy" anymore, but the hell does someone from the internet know about that? I myself as a dev don't even know the limits of what a "copy" can be described as really and at what point does it become your "original". Heck, even without considering that, just identifying that the script you use for that casino is a modification of theirs is enough to land you in a lawsuit.

They have done so much wrong in this community and if someone wants to go ahead and build something better than them, I say, give it your best shot...Though starting a fair and funded casino is no easy feet

My tip to you OP, is to offer the ability to use an escrow throughout the setup and audit process.

The buyer should put the 10k with a trusted escrow, then you should help them set it up, then a third party auditor should review the code and the server it has been setup on to ensure that it is secure.

If you agree to those terms you will make the sale a lot smoother and may increase the likelihood of you getting a deal done.

I am totally not agreeing with you in this. Because, open source involves some serious risks. There can be security loopholes or code structure may be not in good quality. Moreover, in open source as well you need to hire expert blockchain consultants for completing the full game. Many companies have addressed this issues and developed their own clone script that can be helpful for game visionaries.

There is a readymade system available infront of you. No need for touching any technical infrastructure development.
