The first innings of Desert Vipers has been finished, it is the first Qualifier round for the final. Desert Vipers were badly missing Fakhar Zaman as he has returned to Pakistan for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy but Muhammad Amir is there as well as Alex Hales, could balance the game. However, Desert Vipers batting has been finished and they gave the target of 189, It is good that even without Fakhar Zaman they made a big total because Alex Hales and other batsmen did not disappoint in this important game, hopefully we will see Desert Vipers playing final.

Today in first Qualifier of international league t20 Desert vipers and Dubai Capitals played in Dubai International cricket stadium. Dubai Capital won the toss and chose to field first. Sam Billings scored 38 runs. Rovman Powell scored 20 runs. Dasun Shanaka and Sikandar Raza were not out till the last over. Dubai Capitals chased the runs to 193 with a loss of 5 wickets. Gulbadin Naib scored highest runs and made his team to win this t20 game.

Well, the Desert Vipers and Delhi Capitals will meet again in the final of the ILT20 tomorrow. It is because the Desert Vipers won the match against Sharjah Warriorz in the Qualifier 2 that was played yesterday.

In this Qualifier 2 match, the Desert Vipers chased down the 162 score pretty easily. Although Rahmanullah Gurbaz lost his wicket pretty quickly when the score was only 3 runs but after that the partnership between Alex Hales and Max Holden was a match winning one. They are in good batting touch so it will be an edge for them in the finals too.

Anyone following the Ranji Trophy? Quarter-final phase is going on and all the four matches are taking place simultaneously. The most interesting match is between Vidarbha and Tamil Nadu. Sharjah team set a target of total 162 runs in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets. Jason showed great help from Sharjah team and he scored 73 runs in 56 balls and hitted seven 4s and two 6s. But all his effort for Sharjah team was not beneficial and other batsmen did not play well of Sharjah team. Vipers team easily chased down all runs easily in 16.4 overs and losing 3 wickets. Alex showed brilliant effort and he made 47 runs in 29 balls and hitted nine 4s. Tanveer from bowling side also good and he took down 2 wickets in 3 overs and gave 20 runs.

Another competition SA20 was successful finished today and this fight was completed among MI Cape Town squad against Sunrisers Eastern Cape squad. Before start of match I was considering Sunrisers Eastern Cape as the winning team because statistically they have more number of winning matches as compared to MI Cape Town but MI Cape Town easy defend this huge total and restricted Sunrisers Eastern Cape under 110 runs. MI Cape Town bowlers give outstanding bowling efforts all out Sunrisers Eastern Cape at just 104 runs, in bowling evey bowlers bowl amazingly but Trent Boult blowing spell is very impressive they picked two crucial wickets and give only 9 runs in his bowling spell with an impressive economy rate of 2.2 runs per over. Kagiso Rabada also bowl outclassed picking up four wickets and win most important match league to MI Cape Town.

Is anyone familiar with the competition CWC Challenge League Group B in this thread here who is watching today's match which was finished among Uganda squad against Singapore squad.

This was the interesting and thrilling match of CWC Challenge League Group B competition and Singapore squad was begun match first with batting Inning and their squad members managed to collect 243 scores as a defend which was good after 50 deliveries. Singapore bowlers were unable to restrict the batters of Uganda squad to achieve their scores and faced a bad defeat of 8 wickets and 56 deliveries. Uganda batters achieved all scores after playing 40.4 overs with lost of just 2 wickets. Performance of these two batters Alpesh Ramjani and Raghav Dhawan displayed strong performance and build long inning of total 71 and 67 scores respectively. Henry Ssenyondo also played a vital role by picking up 4 crucial wickets. Big congrats to Uganda squad.

Ranji Trophy quarter final matches are ongoing at the moment, with 4 matches taking place simultaneously. Perhaps the most important one is between Vidarbha and Tamil Nadu. Karun Nair made 122 in the first innings and helped Vidarbha to a total of 353. And in return Tamil Nadu got bundled out for just 225. Currently Vidarbha are on 169/5, with a lead of 297 runs. I feel sorry for Sri Lanka's performance and 2 match loss because they are not winning matches even though they are working hard.  In this, the Aussies put their pressure on, which weakens their given target and they fail to beat the Aussies in any way.  Sri Lankan batsmen scored 488 runs in both innings.  May has made the target quite good but the Australian batsmen scored 489 runs in both innings and they still had the innings but they would win the match first.  Australia plays because of their strength and good performance and Sri Lanka does not play because of their weak performance and hard bowling and they lose the match.  If they manage to avoid the pressure of Australia and score more runs it will not be difficult for them to win this match.  If Sri Lanka win the last match it will be a lot of happiness and good thing for them, but Australia will not let them win this match.

After the openers failed to bat, the captain Monank Patel also wasn’t able to make any score and was out on zero. All hopes are now on Saiteja Mukkamalla who is batting on 35. Still 30 more overs to go and USA need to at least play all the remaining overs in order to set up a good reasonable total.
