London Spirit women team won 1st game by 17 runs. This is the new tournament of women The Hundred Women's Competition. London Spirit women team is a strong team in this tournament and they were playing amazing performance. Oval Invincibles women team failed to chase total record runs for 159 and losing the match.

The second match between Originals and Southern Brave is in progress. Manchester Originals (Women) are batting first. They have too many wickets too quickly. At 49 runs, they have lost six wickets. That's not going to help them make a big score. Also, almost 60 balls have been bowled, and we have 40 more balls to go. There is no one who has settled in the game to play a long innings. The highest scorer made 14 runs and we can understand how badly they are playing at the moment.

Unfortunately for the men's competition, we need to wait until 11pm Indian time. This is something that I don't understand. Almost all the teams are now fully/partly owned by Indians. So why keep matches at 11pm? A large share of the viewership originates from India. They should have kept the matches at prime time in India.

London Spirit (Women) batted first and they made 176 runs. Remember it is a 100 ball match and therefore this is quite a reasonable score. Grace Harris played a brilliant innings. She made 89 runs in only 42 balls. She could not complete her century not because she was out but the innings was finished. Cordelia Griffith also made 50 and it was mainly these two batsmen that did most of the scoring.

Oval Invincibles (Women) started the chase but they lost their captain Lauren Winfield-Hill very early. She was LBW. They are now 7 runs with one wicket loss. I don't think they can chase this score.

In yesterday's match, London Spirit (Women) team gave a target of 176 runs in which their players also had a very good target. Now final match of this competition Viking Cup was played today and in this final match, Austria and Norway squads were participated and both played fantastic match. Norway squad was begun match first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 105 scores after playing 20 overs with lost of all wickets. All their top order batters displayed very bad strength and collected few scores. Thanks to Umair Tariq and Ziaurahman Shinwari bowlers played crucial role to restrict Norway squad in low scores and both picked up 4 and 3 important wickets respectively. Bilal Zalmai  was top scores of this match and he played wonderful inning and collected 79 scores.

It is nice to see Rehan Ahmed developing into an allrounder. He is just 20 years old, and if properly groomed he can become the next Moeen Ali. Yesterday for the Trent Rockets, the took two very important wickets in the first innings (those of Dan Lawrence and Graham Clark), and then in the second innings he scored a crucial 31. BTW, the organizers need to rethink on the schedule. Men's matches start at 11pm Indian time, which is well past the prime time. India, being a crucial market can't be ignored. Why can't they swap the men's and women's matches?
