Yesterday, there was a match between MI Emirates vs Dubai Capitals, the match was very important for both teams. In the end MI Emirates won and qualified for the 1st qualifier match. On the other hand, Dubai Capitals lost which they will have to play the Eliminator match and if they win then they will get a chance to play in the 2nd qualifier match. In this match, the batsmen of Dubai Capitals could not do well due to which they had to lose, they scored only 122 runs which was not a good enough target.

However, so far three teams have qualified in this tournament, now one team is left. Today there will be a match between Gulf Giants vs Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, the team that wins will be able to qualify and the team that loses will be eliminated from the tournament. Now let's see which team can qualify as the fourth team.

First match of Otago and Cant. Canterbury were batting first, and they scored a really good target of 188. It is their blessing that they had a good start from their top order, such as Chad Bowes with 40 runs and Tom Latham with 75 runs.

The third player of the top order Henry Nicholls, played a short innings but was valuable, at least not wasting balls and doing power hitting. Somehow, they scored this, and right now Otago is batting, but they cannot score. Llew Johnson is struggling, and he already wasted multiple balls while his partner is trying to carry out a good performance and help the team. Jamal Todd is on strike and nicely doing power hitting.

Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes squads were met in third match of Men competition and Sydney Thunder was begun match with batting and their batters displayed strong performance no doubt and they collected 180 scores sadly they were lost match by narrow outcome. Hobart Hurricanes squad succeeded to defeat Sydney Thunder squad with 1 delivery and 4 wickets. Nikhil Chaudhary  was top scorer of this match and he managed to collect 41 scores off 31 deliveries. Billy Stanlake performance was also superb and played important role in victory with picking up 3 wickets.

Brisbane Heat started the innings, with Munro and Waldermuth, but when two early wickets fell, the situation became tensed. Renshaw then gave little hope to the team with 33 runs. Thanks to Bryantt, who played a great innings of 63 runs, the team managed to post 179 runs despite the crumbling batting lineup. In reply, the Adelaide Strikers started confidently with Matthew Short, who was crucial for BH. However, Bartlett then took this important wicket, dismissing him  on 63 runs. After that, BH faced little resistance from Wadia with 34 runs. But Soon, the game came in the hand  of BH. It was Bartlett who took 3 wickets in an outstanding way and declared as Man of the Player. When AS needed 10 runs to win, then Balkin calmly sealed the match by taking Hasan Ali’s wicket. The game end on 172 runs fromAS side and BH won this match by 7 runs

Super Smash league

In the Super Smash league Canterbury defeated Otago by 28 runs. Canterbury opens inning first with Chad Bowes and Tom Lathum and both the openers give a positive start to the team and Tom Lathum played a well inning of 78 runs and also Bowes played a well knock of 40 runs and in middle order Henry Nicholas scores 22 runs and also Matthew Boyle played a well inning of 24 runs and at the end of the innings Canterbury set a huge target of 189 runs.
Otago opens inning with llew Jhonson and Jamal Todd and among the openers Jamal played a well inning of 53 runs but Jhonson lost his wicket early on 2 runs and in middle order Max Chu played a well inning of 38 runs and also Glenn Phillips scores 24 runs and all the team trying best to chase the target but at the end of the innings Otago scores only 160 runs and Canterbury won the game by 28 runs.

Today's match was quite important in which both the teams were pleased with the team of Dubai Capitals who batted first and scored only 122 runs in this 20 over match. This clearly shows that the bowling of the other team MI Emirates has been quite heavy on them due to which they could not show their batting well and they dismissed eight players easily and they only set that target. The second team started chasing this target and they did not face any difficulty in it because the first team was already under pressure due to which only two players of their team were dismissed and their team completed this target in 16 and four balls, that is, one player also became the player of the match whose name is AM Ghazanfar and similarly this is the series. 29 matches were won by half wickets and 20 balls. The Dubai Capitals team was defeated in this match.

Yep, In the Super Smash league Auckland defeated Wellington by 5 wickets. Wellington opens inning first with Tom Blundell and Tim Robinson but both the openers don't give a positive start to the team and Tim Robinson scores only 5 runs and also Blendell scores 18 runs and in middle order  the team was panicked but then Jesse Tashkoff played a very memorable inning of 89 runs and also Gareth Saverin scores 33 runs and at the last of the innings Wellington set a huge target of 188 runs for Auckland.
Auckland opens inning with Dale Phillips and Simmon Keene and both the openers give a very positive start to the team and Simmon played a well inning of 21 runs and also Phillips scores 37 runs and in middle order Bivon Jaccubs played a very classy inning of 54 runs and also Ryan Harrison scores 21 runs and remain not out and Auckland easily chase the huge target of 188 runs and won the game by 5 wickets.

They did not take advantage of their home ground. They played well and scored a lot of runs in the match and their batsmen tried very hard and made a target of 187 runs which was strong for victory but their poor bowling did not make it tough and they failed in the match. In this match, Auckland batsmen easily scored 189 runs and victory. They should have not been careless in the beginning maybe they could have been stronger and this could have increased their strength. Wellington bowlers should have worked hard in stopping the runs, maybe this effort would have been fulfilled, they faced defeat in the last balls. Their batting was good and hopefully they will play their batting well in the next matches and bring some new changes in their bowling.

Anyone following the Vijay Hazare Trophy? Quite a few interesting results from yesterday. The three stronger teams in Plate League (Bihar, Manipur and Nagaland) all won their matches. Bihar is on top with 12 points, while the other two teams have 8 points each. The most crucial match as between Bihar and Manipur in Round 2, which was won by the former. And this should probably eChandigarh nable Bihar to get a promotion to the Elite League. At the moment, Sikkim, Puducherry and Chandigarh are part of the Elite League, and at least one or two of these teams will be relegated to Plate League by the end of this season.

I disagree with your assessment. Desert Vipers have been exceptional this season, and I would rate them far ahead of all the other teams. As of now, they are all set to win the first Qualifier. They batted first and managed to put up a massive total of 233/1. MI Emirates got a good start, but to be honest they don't have a chance in this match anymore. American player Andries Gous hit a massive total of 120 from just 58 balls. And towards the end, there were fireworks from Sam Curran, who hit 38 from just 12 balls. For MI Emirates, the only wicket to fall was taken by Afghan player AM Ghazanfar.

32 years old American Andries Gous making his mark in T20 leagues as today he scored career best unbeaten 120 against MI Emirates at Abu Dhabi as Desert Vipers post 234 runs target for MI Emirates. What a batting from Andries Gous and Fakhar Zaman in this first qualifier both posted 157 runs for the first wicket which gave way to Desert Vipers for having this big target, Fakhar Zaman gone on 69 and captain Sam Curran hit 38 runs on just 12 balls.

In reply, MI Emirates have not good start as they lost their first wicket on 27 and now Tom Banton and Mohammad Waseem doing their job for having win in this game at the end of 9 overs 90 for 1 making things entertaining in this thrilling first qualifier.

Yes, Desert Vipers played exceptionally in this Quarterfinal also and they made a massive 232 runs losing only one wicket.

However, we cannot deny that MI Emirates are trying their level best to chase this big target, however, they may not be able to succeed in the end. Muhammad Waseem played a good knock of 41 runs. They had big hopes when Tom Banton was batting. He made 63 runs in no time. Once he got out, the chances for MI Emirates to make it to the finals became very slim.

Durban's Super Giants opens inning first with Kane Williamson and Devon Conway but both the openers don't give a positive start to the team and Conway scores only 4 runs and Williamson loses his wicket early on 2 runs and in middle order Aiden Markram played a well inning of 22 runs and after that the was panicked and also Heinrich Klaasen scores 15 runs and at the end of the innings Durban's Super Giants set a very low target of 87 runs for Joburg Super Kings. Joburg Super Kings opens inning with Faf du Pleasis and Matthew De Villiers but both the openers don't give a positive start to the team and De Villiers scores only 7 runs and also Du Pleasis loses his wicket early on 3 runs and in middle order Rilee Rossow played a well inning of 43 runs and also Shubham scores 15 runs and remain not out and Kings easily chase the simple target of 87 runs and won the game by 6 wickets.

1 st Qualifier game was concluded today in International T20 league series and Qualifier game was played between DV and MIE team. MIE team won toss and they elected fielding first and gave batting lineup to DV team. DV team batsman batted so brilliant and they set big target 233 runs in 20 overs by losing 1 wickets. Fakhar and Gous opener batsmen helped a lot DV team to win this important game and Gous made brilliant century 120 runs in 58 balls and hitted seven 4s and nine 6s. Fakhar also performed outstanding and he made half century 69 runs in 50 balls and hitted five 4s and two 6s. MiE team  failed to beat DV team and did not chase target and lost game by 46 runs. Usman bowler bowled out 3 MIE wickets in 4 overs and gave 33 runs.

Congratulations DV team on winning Qualifier game and also congratulations on qualifing in Final game and MIE team still have last to qualify in Final game but they need to win next Qualifier game.

Recently I am noticing a number of American players in various franchise T20 leagues around the world. Apart from Andries Gous, others who are active includes Sanjay Krishnamurthy and Nosthush Kenjige. And remember that this is being achieved at a time when the associate teams, as well as the players are struggling in general. Even the host nation (United Arab Emirates) had limited success with their players in this league. And this growth is being noticed. But the biggest obstacle for even greater growth is the corrupt national association (USACA).

In the SA20 Paarl Royals defeated Sunrisers Eastern Cape by 5 wickets. Sunrisers Eastern Cape opens inning first with Quinton de kock and Jhony Bairstow and among the openers Jhony Bairstow played a well inning of 33 runs and De Kock scores only 7 runs and in middle order Jordan Heemann played a well inning of 47 runs and after Jordan the whole team was panicked and wickets continuesly falls and Sunrisers Eastern Cape scores only 149 runs at the end of the innings and the target was 150 runs. Paarl Royals opens inning with Lhun-dre-Pretorius and Asa Tribe but both the openers don't give a positive start to the team and Lhun Pretorius scores only 11 runs and Asa Tribe lost his wicket early on 7 runs and in middle order Keagan Lion-Cachet played a well inning of 45 runs and also David Miller played a memorable inning of 71 runs and Paarl Royals chase the target of 150 runs just before 2 balls and won the game by 5 wickets.
