Brisbane Heats managed a crucial win against league leaders Hobart Hurricanes by 3 runs which helped them to have fourth spot in league table with just one match remaining against rivals Sydney Sixers which is going to be played on 18th January.

In today game, Hobart Hurricanes decided to bowl first after winning the toss and restricted Brisbane Heats at 160 for 8 and this was looking chaseable total but Hobart Hurricanes lost early wickets which slowed their chase, and they failed to score 6 runs in last over of this match which gave them big setback still they are at the top of league table with 13 points.

In this match, the Hobart Hurricanes team bowled thinking that they might win because they dismissed all the players of the other team for 160 run.If you look at their team batting it is clear that the pressure of their bowling was already on the first team, but still they created a good target, due to which they won this match. If this team had shown laziness, then perhaps they could have lost, but they made their bowling heavy on the other team. Ben McDermott and Beau Webster both of these player had completed almost a quarter of the match, but the performance of the rest of the players was absolutely zero, due to which their team had to face failure. But if they had worked a little more, they might have won because only three runs were left and they lost by three runs. In the match between United States of America U19 vs India U19, India U19 will be ahead, I think India U19 will win this match easily.
On the other hand, there are matches between Zimbabwe U19 vs Scotland U19, this match will have the potential for both teams to win, so hopefully this match will be very competitive.

Indian u19 were honestly looking a dominant side on paper but struggle alot while even chasing 107 runs, I truly believe if American u19 somehow manage to put 200 around on board then definitely it will be a win for team as one of Indian gun machine Sooryavanshi throw his wicket early on and following by rest of lineup they just scored 25 and givenaway three of his vital player, however middle order somehow bring back his team back on track and won by DLS as rain intrupt once again and runied things again.
On the other hand west indies u19 were done same like struggle to catch the required and thus later few over before catch the momentum although lose some quick Back to back wicket but able to match the required and won.

After today big win of Perth Scorchers, situation is interesting because two teams are having enough chance of jumping into the top spots while 3 teams are already eliminated from playoffs race, fourth team could be Brisbane Heat or Sydney Sixers, their match is going to be the deciding factor.

Tomorrow Sydney derby is going to be interesting as well because this will increase Sydney Sixers chances for playoff spot while Sydney Thunders are already at bottom, Sydney Sixers are favourite for tomorrow game as they are having better chance of win and staying in hunt for top 4, their odds are @1.5, in last three games Sydney Sixers have 2 wins Sydney Thunders got just 1 win.

Central districts start wasn't good, they lost four wickets for only 46 runs. After that Curtis Heaphy and Sam Cassidy had a good partnership and that lead them to make 146 runs. Sam was unlucky as he made 49 runs and missed his half century by 1 run only. However this partnership was the difference between the two teams.

Although Northern Districts had a better start and I was thinking that they may win this game as at one time they were at 90 for three wickets. But the target wasn't easy and that too in 15 overs. However it was still a good innings by Katene Clarke who remained till the end with 60 runs not out.

Central district has lost this match and has taken its place at number 5 while northern district has come to number 3 with this win.There are 8 matches left in this league.It is very important for every team to achieve success because this is such a turning point that any team can be out of the league.Talking about this match neither the opening batsmen nor the middle order batsmen tried hard from central district only the last batsmen among whom the names of Curtis and Cassidy come had the rest of the batsmen strengthened their aim a little there is no doubt that the wining would have been for central district.Northern district appeared to be a strong team because 15 overs were scheduled but they ended the match on the third ball of 13 overs.They have shown excellent batting and bowling.I think northern district will remain in the league till the end.

Yeah, In Super Smash League Auckland defeated Canterbury. Canterbury opens inning first with Rhys Mariu and Herry Chamberlain and among  the openers Mariu  give a positive start to the team by scoring 20 runs but Herry scores only 4 runs and in middle order Jesse Frew played a well inning of 23 runs and also Leo Carter  playes a aggressive inning of 39 runs and at the end of the inning Canterbury set a low target of 133 runs for Auckland. Auckland opens inning with Dale Phillip and Sean Solia and both the openers give a very positive start to the team and Phillip played a well inning of 55runs and also Solia  scores 27 runs and in middle order with the help of 39 runs of Martin Guptal Auckland can easily chase the target of 133 runs and won the game by 9 wickets.

Yes, you are right, just as a loss in this one match has brought disaster for Hobart Hurricanes, which has pushed them out of first position, it has also brought opportunity for Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers.
However, I personally think that Hobart Hurricanes will fall from the first position of this year's Big Bash League for once and it may be that they will not return to the first position before going to the next round. Because both Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers have been performing well in recent matches and even there is a match between them and which team will be winner they will be also the top rank holder in the point table of Big Basg League.

This league has been playing much better and stronger games and playing 3 games on the first day will make this league play faster. The first game of this league which was played with Ind and USA was more unusual and also a responsibility because of the poor performance of USA. The game between Scotland and Zimbabwe was not played if it was played then it was also expected with a much better performance because the games against WT and Tan were also not very better and ended at 122 runs. The U-19 league was not played with much better performance and struggle from the beginning. Congratulations to Ind and WT on this winning the way they played was better than their performance to some extent.
