Sri Lanka U-19 batsmen played very well and made a difficult target for Japan U-19 by working hard which is no less than a defeat for them. Sri Lanka U-19 batsmen have taken full advantage of the innings in today match and their batsmen have scored 387 runs which is a target made with a lot of hard work and effort. Japan U-19 batsmen will play for a good effort, but their batsmen are not trying hard to victory the match because their batsmen lost 3 wickets in 17 overs, which is a major reason for their defeat. The way Sri Lanka U-19 has played strongly, if they play like this throughout the league there will be no good and strong team to compete with them and victory will also become easy for them.  If the Japan U-19 team victory today match, it will inflict a very heavy defeat on Sri Lanka U-19.

Sri Lanka U19 defeated Japan U19 in a big way and Sri Lanka U19 achieved the  aim of 387 for the loss of only 4 wickets and only 3 batsmen achieved this formidable aim which includes the names of Dimantha Viran and Vimath.Despite their high runs their strike rate was low. Their opponents Japan U19 showed a very poor batting performance but only Hugo Kelly kept fighting for Japan U19.This batsman added 101 runs.If the rest of the batsmen had supported Hugo Kelly then perhaps they would have come close to winning.Japan U19 and Ireland U19 have not added to the points table yet and they are still behind everyone.

Two of the favourites are out of contention in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025/26. Both Karnataka and Punjab lost their semi-final matches. Final will be played between Vidarbha and Saurashtra, two of the less fancied teams. This is a personal blow for Karun Nair, who dumped Vidarbha to move back to Karnataka this year. In the first semi-final, Karnataka lost to Vidarbha (Karun made 74 BTW). Vishvaraj Jadeja was the star in the second semi-final, and scored 165 not out from 127 balls. And this was against an attack that included Gurnoor Brar, Mayank Markande and Sukhdeep Singh Bajwa.

What a great inning Saurashtra played. Brilliant Saurashtra team. They bowled first and gave 291 runs target in 50 over. It was not bad total from opponent. Chetan Sakariya gave 60 run and took 4 wickets in 10 over with 6.00 run rate. He was prominent among other bowlers. On the other hand I think Punjab team did not play badly because the target of 291 was not bad. If they bowled with planning then they could win the match easily. They should take wickets.
In Saurashtra team Vishvaraj Jadeja batting performance was outstanding. He scored 165 run in 127 balls in which 18 four and 3 sixes were included. Jadeja built two partnerships with two players,firstly HM Desai which was 167 runs and the second with Mankad which was 121 runs. That's why they succeeded in winning the match because partnership work like a back bone in batting line.

Today's match between Zimbabwe U19 and  England under-19.Zimbabwe Under-19 played well and their batsmen gave a good target but England Under-19 were playing good and stronger than them, due to which they will be successful in a few overs. If the Zimbabwe Under-19 batsmen had worked harder, their target could have been stronger and successful for victory because the England Under-19 batsmen have scored 181 runs in 24 overs and the Zimbabwe Under-19 bowlers are not putting in any effort. This is a bad defeat for Zimbabwe Under-19. The England Under-19 batsmen are now very close to victory and it is difficult to control them, due to which Zimbabwe Under-19 will have to work hard and try to prove themselves strong. If England Under-19 victory this match, then these are advantages for them and we can include them among the strong teams in this league.

Target was big in this match and opponent team have to chase this target which was not an easy for that team . Viran Chamuditha was a person who made 192 runs in this match and he was a person who played top class inning in this match. Opening partnership was good in this match because both played made centuries in this match and opponent team came in pressure and all  team out at just 184 runs and Sri Lanka U-19 team won the match by 203 runs. Kelly made century in this match and no other player of that team made half century in this match. No bowler of Sri Lanka U-19 team could do more wickets in this match and that was the reason they lose this match at the end but one bowler should try to take 5 wickets in this match.
